Politics › Re: Economic Recession: Buhari Is Destroying Nigeria Economic, He Should Resign -PDP by DropShot: 11:33am On Sep 01, 2016
Jesters!

Like the way GEJ who destroyed Nigeria resigned?

Useless morrons aplenty in PDP. If not for democracy, the actors from the Poverty Development Party such as Dasuki, Akpobolokemi, FFK, Bafarawa, Nenadi Usman, Mettuh and other goats who ate what could have been our savings for the rainy days of today, should have been locked up and shot at close range. But alas, the shameless, useless, ultra corrupt party has no shame.

All things equal, a party that earned so much, did so little, and stole all "stealables" should not be allowed to participate in our political discussion.

PDP destroyed Nigeria.

THERE IS NOTHING HAPPENING NOW THAT WAS NOT FORSAW OR PREDICTED BY THE SEASONED ECONOMISTS LONG AGO.

Sanusi raised his voice to warn us.
Pat Utomi warned us.
Bismark Rewane predicted it.
The kpof kpof minister of finance, albeit very late, also said that "Nigerians should prepare for tough times" when the idiots were already borrowing to pay salaries despite earning so much.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Destroyed Nigeria. Blame Jonathan. by DropShot:
We the sane Nigerians know this. Only the stark illiterates and semi-literates don't know.
Politics › Re: Nigerian Economy, Not In Confusion – Adeosun, Finance Minister by DropShot:
The current government is doing the right thing to re-set our bastardized system.

Our economy was wrongly tagged "the largest economy in Africa" by all of us. Yes, it was wrong to tag a mono-economy, import and imported-service-driven one as a big economy.

Basic economics tells me that an economy not developed on provision of massive infrastructures or production of goods and services, cannot experience real growth in the real sense of the word "growth".

Our economy thrived on exportation of crude oil. It is simple logic and common sense that once such surreal crude price and crude quantity exported are removed, the economy will crash.

PMB has done reasonably well to arrest what could have been a catastrophic situation had the Ineffectual, militancy-sponsoring Buffoon managed to stay on.
Politics › Re: Garri Is Now Called Buhari & Groundnut Osinbajo In Kano City. - Guardian News by DropShot: 5:57am On Sep 01, 2016
It's understandable when illiterates fail to understand how we got here.

What is unforgivable is when the so-called "educated" people exhibit naked ignorance.

Things are tough but it could have been worse if the Ineffectual Buffoon and his fellow thieving gang were re-elected.

One only needs to look back at late 2014 and early 2015 and study the indices of that time to understand the situation.

For example, the FG was already borrowing to pay salaries since late 2014.

many state govts were owing their workers many months' salaries before PMB came on board to bail them out through judicious use of our scarce resources.

Nigerian economy under GEJ was a mirage, an illusion that surely couldn't stand the test of time.

Finally, if you oppose the govt's plan of emergency power to tackle the economy; and if your support the scAvengers and other militants, YOU LACK MORAL RIGHT TO MOAN ABOUT THE ECONOMY.

NaijaGoBetaWhen:
Too Much Hunger & Poor Economy In Nigeria. people are complaining and suffering everyday without the President and his Apc government doing nothing to reverse the economy. Do you support the impeachment of President Buhari ?
I'm sure you're against the report of his plan to seek emergency power to tackle the economy.

I am sure you support avengers and other militants wrecking havoc on the economy.

I am sure you're against fighting corruption.

So, how can you be guilty of all these and still expect good economy? You can't eat your cake and have it.

Btw, PMB CAN'T be impeached. You can only dream it. The man is on a rescue mission. Deal with it.
Foreign Affairs › Re: First Female President Of Brazil Impeached by DropShot: 7:01pm On Aug 31, 2016
Politically motivated.

The Senate Leader is under investigation for corruption just as many other senators. It's the main reason for her impeachment. The offence she's accused of is not so weighty to warrant impeachment.

Now that the Senate has the ultra corrupt president they desire, Brazil will slide back to what it used to be - a very poor country.
Politics › Re: Amaechi Signs MOU With China For Lagos-Ibadan, Calabar-Port Harcourt Rail Lines by DropShot: 6:53pm On Aug 31, 2016
Kudos to FG.

I am sure when these projects get completed and commissioned by this govt, wailing zombies will disturb us with "the projects were started by Ineffectual Buffoon and PMB is only taking his glory" among other gibberish they usually spew.

And when they were asked to name a single project started and completed by the IB in more than five years, not a single one they could mention.

Those IB's years are best erased from our history.

Far better than giving free money which makes them become lazy duck.

Amnesty, even though it temporarily solved a problem, has proved to have created far bigger ones by birthing more militants.

Where are the militant warlords of 2008/2009? They're all billionaires at the expense of the very people and communities they claimed to be fighting for.

I won't stop saying it, Nairaland in particular and Nigeria in general is full of people incapable of putting things in context.
The issue is not about naming your pets as you deem fit. It's about doing it to deliberately provoke a reaction. Cynically inscribing a person's name on a pet to spite him/her, especially in an area dominated by his ethnic group is an invitation to chaos and breakdown of law and order.

Politics › Re: Lawyer Sues FG, AG, CBN Others For Sponsoring Pilgrims by DropShot:
Another hungry lawyer on the loose!

State's ponsoring of both Muslim and Christian pilgrims is as old as Nigeria. It took a Buhari to discontinue it. He even did it first with Hajj 2015 when he stopped it completely.

And talking of selling dollars at a certain price, same was done for Christians. So, if no one saw anything wrong when Christian pilgrims benefitted from it, why should any sane being see anything wrong with it now.

I have said it on many occasions that going on pilgrimage is personal affair of anyone wanting to, the govt has no business doing it. But for you to applaud one and condemn the other tells you're a hypocrite. Nothing more nothing less.

The slumping oil prices is a factor but Buhari has a large chunk of the blame for this.

He came in telling us there was no money in the treasury yet he made about 20 foreign trips within one year with the little money we had.

And the sad thing is, the trips yielded nothing. He just wasted our money on fruitless trips.

For instance, where is the much talked about yuan swap deal? What happened to it?

It was all propaganda.
How much did those trips costs in relation to what we've lost to the crude crash?

The simle english they thought me in school made the topic clear the first time i read it. it would have read "senate rejects ..... bill" if it has been discursed.
It means either your teachers taught you nonsense or you were a bad student. Senators can't reject a supposed bill not yet tabled to them. Opinions of a few senators cannot be used to read "senators reject...". Btw, I taught English for some years.
