TPAND:
Ajimobi is an EPIC fail.

Tinubu is good at sourcing credible leaders, we mean Fashola and Ambode
The one he has sourced for other states are big apologies.
Fayemi failed Ekiti
Ajimobi is as clueless as a political ignoramus
Amosu is just there
Aregbesola is a product of Tinubu and he has proved to be very competent. Forget negative media reportage about him.

Amosun is above average.

Fayemi didn't fail in Ekiti, just that the state preferred stomach infrastructure to real governance.

Ajimobi is about the only disaster of all of them.

Our main problem is the Judiciary.

Many corruption cases are not progressing at the right pace.

By now, Dokpesi, Bafarawa, Dasuki, etc would have known their fate if this was UK or US.

My brother, it is worth checking facts before making comments. If you are going to correct me or call me out.on a blunder you better be coming with superior.points.

No president of Nigeria cannot hire and fire at will heads of Certain positions such as.that of the Cbn and head court of appeal. The best he can do is to suspend such a.person. and suspension will last a duration of 90days. Sanusis removal was such that the end of his suspension coincided with the end of his tenure which gej refused to renew. Judge salamis was similar I think.

I never questioned pmb's democratic credentials (atleast not now) but I question his lopsided appointments.j

Lastly, I'm not holding brief for gej or obj. Don't give a rats ass about them.
Ayo Salami was forced out of service. He wad not close to retirement at all and all interventions, including recommendations from the Judicial Council fell on GEJ's deaf ears.

My point is, even though we know we have certain laws guiding appointments and removal of heads of some agencies, a Nigerian president determined to kick out some of those heads will do it and NOTHING will happen because our democracy has not fully evolved.

Grundig:
I do not want to be drawn in on topics such as this. But I shall put aside the self imposed embargo on this occasion.

First off, I really do not care about pmb's appointments - who they are nor where they come from. I wish they'd all roll up thier sleeves and get to work.

Now, to the issue at hand:-
To the simple minded you may have a point. But let's face it. When Nigerians make reference to quota system and federal character what immediately comes to mind are cabinet positions and top security posts.

Going by his antecedents, if buhari had his way, all cabinet members would be from the north. But no. He dare not. This is no issue.

As for security positions, I'm really indifferent. As he has to work with people he is close to and trusts. So I'll let this slide. Honestly, I'm surprised there are 2 southerners on his security team. But again, I'm indifferent.

Let's look at positions just below the ministers. I'm referring to positions like director generals, managing directors, heads of smaller agencies and parastatal. With the exception of the following positions (nddc, nimasa, via) every other position has gone to the north. Without a minister, ministeries and parastatals under such ministeries will still function. However, without DG's and MD's the parastals and agencies will grind to a halt. Question is why have positions on these level gone to the north?

Lastly, if buhari had his Way, emefiele would've been removed a long time ago. But we all know the cbn cannot be sacked.
Just to correct your erroneous belief, the president can remove anyone he desires to remove, with or without approval from any section/body.

GEJ removed Justice Ayo Salami and Sanusi illegally and NOTHING happened. So, if PMB actually wanted to remove Emefiele or anybody for whatever reason, he would do it and NOTHING will happen.

Let's just say the president is a complete democrat, hence Saraki and Ekweremandu are still behaving like spoilt kids. Hence Fayose can insult him as he likes and still have the audacity to call the president's phone lines. Hence, ND Avengers can act senselessly without any major collateral damages to their region.

All the above instances will have been crudely and cruely dealt with if PMB was an OBJ or even as tyrannical as GEJ.

See how these people are playing politics with the destiny of 180 million people.

They should stop this madness and focus on governance.

APC should put their house in order. they have tried many things on Saraki but its not working for over a year now. rather his popularity amongst his colleagues is growing.

PMB will continue this fight or pretend not to be interested till they bring up his certificate issue.

impeaching him will be so easy cos we all know he doesn't have.

they were able to quiet the Igbo boy that started that case but if Saraki picks up that card. it will be last card for Buhari.

he should face governance. they have just 3 years to go.

A northern candidate will guarantee at least 40-45% from NE(Which has traditionally been a battle ground up North),at least 60% NC(a traditional PDP zone), and 40% SW. I don't really care about NW but I expect 20-30% for PDP.

If you look at all the reruns held in the NC, you will notice PDP VICTORY except for Wada who was a bad market compared to Audu.

In fact, the Fulani herdsmen are doing a 'very good job' for Buhari in the SW and NC.

Even in Osun Assembly rerun PDP won. PDP will even win Oyo(thanks to Ajimobi madness) but mat not win SW. maybe 45% of SW votes
Dreaming is allowed. I remember your may ill-fated predictions during the last election. Also remember I got more than 90% of mine correct.

A swing vote from the NC is enough to return PDP to power. We may not win NW but a 30%-40% from NE, 40% SW and 55-60% from NC is enough to return PDP to power.... SS and SE is 100% PDP
Tonye, stop deceiving yourself. NE, NW will be crazy to give PDP anything close to 20%.

SW will surely not align with a party that has Fayose, Omisore, Bode George and their likes as it's leaders. And once a party can't win NE, NW and SW, the game is over.

What of shutting down of newspaper houses and seizing their wares?
What of allowing five lawmakers of Ekiti to sack their Speaker and other 23 members?

My Proposal, Ribadu/Obi 2019 or Kwankwaso/Obi 2019(I pray he comes back).

But lets see the aspirants first. Buhari is a goner though
Which Ribadu? The same one that has never won his state in the two elections he has contested before? As the ACN presidential candidate and as PDP gubernatorial candidate, he lost in 2011 and 2015 respectively.

Kwankwaso can never match PMB in any election in the North apart from his state. And that is not even guaranteed with Ganduje now in firm control of that state.

Face reality, PMB will spend eight years EXCEPT he decides not to.

If PMB refuses to visit the ND throughout his first tenure, he'd be right. It's how they've chosen to be related with.

I guess they're also getting tired and bored of the senseless bombings.

Make no mistakes about it, whatever perceived ill-treatment the region might be experiencing did not start today. It has been there for many years b4 PMB and past govts made some sincere efforts to address the problems but for insincere and selfish, greedy leaders from the region.

If not, why have increase in monthly allocation, 13% derivation allowance, creation of Niger Delta Devp Commission and the Min. of Niger Delta not yielded any meaningful results but instead enriching few individuals.

And the absurdity is, when those leaders are to be brought to justice for cornering the common wealth of the masses, it's this same touts (militants) that will declare war on the govt for "persecuting or witch hunting" their leaders! So, one becomes confused of what these avengers really want?

One moment you ask for dividends of oil exploration from your area, the next moment you want Akpobolokemi, Dasuki, Mettuh, Saraki, Tompolo, James Ibori, Alameiseigha and many other looters of our wealth not to be prosecuted!

I taya for Nigerians and their illogical reasoning!

Did u read that Malami asked for the meeting to be private? So who is the source IB d private meeting that told SR?
Some ve brains but can not think
I normally don't reply every one of my mentions that seeks attention and relevance but since you have jaundice in your eyes, let me help you. After reading the below, you know what to do with your brain.

A source at the Senate and another in the AGF’s office told SaharaReporters that Mr. Saraki requested to see Mr. Malami after the AGF’s meeting with Senator Umaru. Our sources said the attorney general acceded to the meeting with Senator Saraki, choosing to see Mr. Saraki in the presence of Ita Enang. However, just before the meeting started, Senator Saraki and Mr. Malami agreed that it should be private.
Kid, from the above, it's clear it was Saraki who requested for a meeting with Malami. It's also clear that Malami agreed to meet Saraki in the presence of Ita Enang. And while it's not clear who requested for it to be private, analytical minds understand that it was Saraki who wanted to beg Malami to drop the case tha must have requested so.

Indeed, wailing zombies have fish brains.
