PoliticsRe: Buhari,the Mistakes ,the Lessons. by DrummaBoy(m): 10:13am On Oct 10, 2011
Well said OP I just wished you had added some paragraphs

That said, I must say that Buhari would never have been able to form a coalition with the likes of Tinubu and Orji Uzo Kalu bc their political ideologies are worlds apart. The unfortunate thing about Nigerian politics is the win at all cost mentality. That Buhari was ready to sacrifice for a stable and proper political coalition that would lead Nigeria if not in 2011 but in the years to come. His choice of Bakare has confirmed this bc despite the persecution against the CPC, that team is still together to date. No one has been able to buy into them unlike the past.

What I will agree with you is that he did not have political base in the south but would not have been if the ACN did not sell the west to GEJ. Jonathan also did a good job of selling the lie that he is a born again christian that made the christian community in the country vote en masse for him.

Nevertheless the next few years will show if indeed voting Jonathan and not PDP was a wise move after all.

I want to commend the effort of Jarus and co in fund raising and seeing that adverts were placed on radios.

Keep the Spirit alive; I believe the Buhari ideology and company in the CPC possess what it takes to change Nigeria.
