Nawa oo..on top this studying medicine ..2.5 million for school fees.. though my first time of hearing about the school sef.. aboking: Edo university is a nice school but only for those who their pickets are full. We were paying 1.5 million per session but it was increased to 2 million and when you get to clinical you will pay clinical fee of 500k amounting up to 2.5 million per yr. It wasn't funny for some of us who have other things to take care of. For the cost of transfer I pay 20k for transcript then I applied for inter university transfer to AAU , when my application was approved I paid transfer fee of 350k to AAU. |

I'm not a dentistry student sir. Just felt that should be what might have occurred. Either ways dentistry is a cool course and lovely profession. I won't be here if I'm a dentistry student. Peace. samuelpeters: Dentistry Students Don't Face anything. It was what you Felt you Faced, which is Nothing anyways. You know when someone isn't Studying what he wants, any Talk from others would Feel like an Insult. You will be Like" its because I'm not in Medicine that is why you could say that to me"
Here in UNN, you won't even know which one is Dentistry or Medicine. No insult, No childish talk to belittle the other. Like where would you start from sef.... Every Wrong Notion about dentistry Ends After Orientation from their Senior colleagues.
My Dear, you don't Like Dentistry Simple! |

Xandre: At 200L Dentistry is already boring?
Aside Oral Biology, what other core Dentistry courses do 200L receive? dentistry isn't boring. I understand the guy. probably opted for MBBS and got dentistry..but there's no crime trying again bro. I know what dentistry students face with their MBBS counterpart in college. Xandre: At 200L Dentistry is already boring?

ShahRukhKhan: search for the Udus Facebook group. You'll meet many students there and you'd get quality information with the chaffs too. Udus UG 1 school fees is around 56k or 58k. I can't really remember but it did not go beyond 60k. Acceptance fee was 5K or so. You'd pay for Tship and screening too. Admission criteria is based on meeting the cut off mark for your state region, having a complete Olevel in preferably one sitting, maybe gender balance too and most importantly beating competition from your state. If 7 people from your state apply to Udus for MBBS and if the slots reserved for your state is just 4. Only the top four aspirants based on utme and Olevel will be admitted. That is even if all the 7 off you meet the cut off, only the top 4 is guaranteed admission. The rest may have to wiggle in or get ready to manage Applied Chemsiry or Agricultural courses. The easiest way to get MBBS in Udus is to do your homework correctly and be assured you have ticked the most of all the requirements box. All in all, with a utme score of 300+ you're on a safer side. Bonus point, udus usually reserve maximum of 5 slots for states in southwest or eastern region. But Shey you see those northern states, naa we full the school. On jamb addmision list, total admitted is around 150 something but with matric students, total UG 1 is towering 200 students. I'm pretty sure you're a student of udus for you to have knowledge of all this. I'm one too. let's get in touch. |

Because I chose UI if they decided to use jamb and Olevel I might not stand a good chance.
Maybe switching to UDUSOk or any university that make use of jamb score. My jamb score is good.

Pofgrace: If you're not in a hurry to get your registration done.... Since you have the sim pack walk into any Airtel shop... And re register the sim with your details... They'll only need the mobile no and sim serial no which can be found on the sim pack... Then you'll wait for 1 week before you walk into their office for retrieval.... Or you get a sworn affidavit with the sim pack and walk into their office for retrieval thanks for this. I so much appreciate you. God bless. I will work on it. |

Impulse2020: Greetings every one,
I'm a medical aspirant,
I'm having some issues but I need you all opinion on this
This is my 3rd attempt (281) in UTME I'm from the South, Edo state
I'm having some issues in picking 2 University since they closer to me
University of Benin (Uniben) and Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma (AAU)
I would have chosen Uniben but the chances with my score for Medicine and Surgery are slim, I'm a student already in that school, 200L biochemistry... I chose this university twice
Now, I picked AAU in my form without true knowledge about the school fees, I found out the school fees is N165, 000 plus other charges, my admission is sure, as they don't write post ume and My chance of getting medicine is 90% due to my good Olevel grades
But the finances is a major issue. I'm raised by a Single mother, my dad is late. I discussed this with her but she doesn't even know what to say
I need your help please
AAU screening just commenced I'll advice you to go ahead with the screening process and commit it into prayers. God will see you through bro. amen. |

Oluwaseun1995: Okay, I think I can answer your question, Last year before I did change of institution to UNIPORT, it was UNICAL I initially chose, UNICAL admission quota for Medicine and Surgery is 100, and they admitted about 168 candidates last year.
And as for their exam, basic mathematics, chemistry, Physics, biology and use of English for Medical Aspirants. And their cut off was 292... Exam is 40 questions, each question carries 10 marks. The reason why I changed from UNICAL was because I had 280 in the PUTME, and 300 in Jamb bringing my aggregate to 290. So I had to do change of institution quickly to UNIPORT where I'm studying Medicine and Surgery presently I think I've met you on a WhatsApp group. you've shared your story with us. I've been looking for you for long..I didn't know you're here too. emblematic right?? |

Zeeknow3245: My two cents Don't choose any university in the north, not even UDUSOK,UNIJOS ,ABU,BUK,UNIMAID. They will ship you to another Department. Best to choose medicine if you have over 280 or 275 good O level and you can ace their post utme. LASU UNILAG OAU LAUTECH DELSU EBSU UNIZIK UNN. UNIILORIN. If your waec is not that strong but your Jamb is well above 280 and you can ace their post utme. Choose UI UNIBEN THANK YOU. I really like this...you've said the pure truth. only God knows how many hearts will have blessed you after reading this. |
