Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Zeeknow3245(m): 8:21pm On Jun 21, 2020 |
OwoukoUrua:U said that you are in 100 level abi? Come on don't spill rubbish you are a pre-med student not a medical student yet. Don't complain they switched your course to biochemistry or Anatomy. Even Ebsu medicine is safer than UYO. I prefer to go to a school with 75 quota and above than going for one with 50. We must be watchful. Although I pray you will scale through |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Oluwaseun1995: 8:25pm On Jun 21, 2020 |
Zeeknow3245: Okay bro, you said he's in pre-med, agreed! But the fact still remains that he's a student of the school thereby having a better leverage to knowing more about the school. If I may ask, you're a student of what school sir? 7 Likes |

Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by isabellah56: 9:44am On Jun 22, 2020 |
Zeeknow3245:tnks but pls how about admission through direct entry. wat are ones chances of being taken. I m from kogi, I was thinking northern universities admit more ppl for medicine since they re least competitive. pls I need advice. |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Zeeknow3245(m): 10:56am On Jun 22, 2020 |
Oluwaseun1995:What I was trying to say is that Ebsu is better than UYO. Even the govt is building more facilities for medical students. Ebonyi is safer if you don't want to hear story of accreditation ehn. Goodluck. ... |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Nobody: 10:59am On Jun 22, 2020 |
please, someone should help a brother, how many quotas does unical have and how many did they admit last year for medicine and surgery? Also the breakdown of subject combination for their screening exam for medicine and surgery. |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Oluwaseun1995: 11:27am On Jun 22, 2020 |
klose4life: Okay, I think I can answer your question, Last year before I did change of institution to UNIPORT, it was UNICAL I initially chose, UNICAL admission quota for Medicine and Surgery is 100, and they admitted about 168 candidates last year. And as for their exam, basic mathematics, chemistry, Physics, biology and use of English for Medical Aspirants. And their cut off was 292... Exam is 40 questions, each question carries 10 marks. The reason why I changed from UNICAL was because I had 280 in the PUTME, and 300 in Jamb bringing my aggregate to 290. So I had to do change of institution quickly to UNIPORT where I'm studying Medicine and Surgery presently 5 Likes |

I am in big wahala oo. Jamb change of institution is not going now and ebsu has started post UTME application today. I reached to EBSU support number and the person told me that people that didn't choose them in jamb can register but I have tried and it keeps saying that it can't find my jamb reg no in the jamb list. The form will be available for just 3 weeks oo. Btw, someone should tell zeeknow to shut up jare. 1 Like |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by David2O(m): 12:12pm On Jun 22, 2020 |
HumanCalc:. Don't mind the official. Jamb hasn't sent your data to EBSU and they won't do that until you apply for change of institution. The bad news is, Change of institution portal is inaccessible for now. Just pray it opens before this week runs out because even after the change, it will take at least two weeks to take effect. My advice: Contact aspirants (many oo) with the same issue like yours and protest on twitter or bombard them with tickets @ https://www.jamb.gov.ng/Support |
