REALLY! IF THIS IS NOT A PROPAGANDA TO SHORE UP THE BATTERED IMAGE OF THE MINISTER OF HEALTH, THEN IT IS A SHOW OF IGNORANCE. EVEN THE ILLITERATE KNOWS THE TRUE SITUATION OF THINGS. ANYWAY,NA NAIJA WE DEY-ANYTHING GOES! |
wengerjay: Doctors are in charge of course.FG shd encourage international standard of medical practice in Nigeria. But sha, anything goes in this country, people take laws into their hands. This is a country where a commercial bus driver wld say he wants to pilot a plane and the govt wil give its consent.Lets see what happens in the long run.DOCTORS IN CHARGE? NO WONDER THE CONFUSION AND STRIKES. DID NOT KNOW THAT GEJ IS NOT IN CHARGE-C-IN-C BY NAME...FRESH AIR!!? |
[quote author=Sincere 9gerian]Power generation level will always fluctuate until we build enough power generation capacity so much so that if there's any short fall in any power plant or gas distribution line, it wouldn't affect the national grid. If Nigeria was generating like 40,000 megawatts, the loss of 2,000 megawatts or so reported on this thread wouldn't have affected the national grid. In fact, nobody would have known as the relevant engineers would have silently sought for the problem and fixed it. The president and his team will continue to do what is HUMANLY possible to ramp up generation capacity. Unfortunately, there are bad elements in the society who continue to sabotage govt's efforts. Nigerians are Nigeria's greatest enemy. People complain of lack of power but at the same time sabotage govt's efforts. These sabotage may even be the handiwork of opposition elements. The govt cannot secure every inch of the gas, crude oil, petroluem products, etc pipelines.."SINCERE THIEF! GEJ PAYS YOU WELL?! |
taharqa: Actuali, Oil theft has been reducing SIGNIFICANTLY in d last few mouths. Data from Reuters indicates that Nigeria's September Oil Future's Export is 1.94mpbd (and this is not even including d Crude used incountry and of course d few hundreds of barrel of Condensate Equivalents that wud also be exported). This wud esp be d case as d problematic Nembe Trunk Line which has been shut down for months now wud be reopened by Shell this week. Know what you are talking about b4 opening that mouth in public, plz...... @topic, sorry: I try not to comment on stuffs related to characters like Elrufai...WATCH OUT FOR GOVERNMENT AGENTS ON NAIRALAND. "BY THEIR FRUITS YOU SHALL KNOW THEM"! FOR EXAMPLE, THEY WILL POST "CORRECT AND UP TO DATE" STATS IN DEFENCE OF GEJ AND PDP. WATCH OUT!!! |
@ TOLEXANDER. HAVE YOU EVER LIVED IN THE CORE NORTH? DO YOU HAVE ANYONE CLOSE TO YOU WHO WAS KILLED BY THIS FANATICS? IF YOUR ANSWER TO AT LEAST ONE OF THESE QUESTIONS IS NO - YOU DON'T HAVE TO SAY ANYTHING - JUST KEEP QUIET. THERE IS WISDOM IN SAYING NOTHING! |

true talk!same goes to our mega rich men-who in my opinion are not rich, but have taken over the wealth of us all. they should help the common man who cannot afford to use the internet, but is dying because he can't afford 20k medication. God help us |
how serious do we take car manufacturers and their manuals? Pushing our responsibilities for reading our car manuals and implementing same as car owners on our mechanics won't help us. Do ds cars give owners in odr parts of d world same probs wt similar frquencies? If d manufacturer said dt only certain 03 and 04 models(for sedans-which accord belongs) were affected, it suggests to me that bulk of d problems with ds cars are user created. Can we put up a thread on bad attitudes dt damage cars in nigeria vs positive attitudes that helps car owners in odr parts of the world enjoy their cars. |
Should our president travel when his house is on fire? Even if he has all the info concerning those behind the crises, he should remember that the common man on the street don't. Anyone who has his ears should please tell him that he has not done well at all. Muslims in all parts of the country should take full responsibility for all that that their kinsmen are doing in the north. Let us not forget that these people were not quick to condemn what we now call Boko Haram (probably because they feel that islam is expanding through the wanton killings). They must not forget that the cane(whip) that was used to beat the first wife is still hidden in the ceiling for the second wife. Aye! |
Just go to your area of interest(e.g. Autos), and click on start a new topic at the top of the section. That's all. |
Many thanks. What can we do in this country to get our lub companies to refine engine oils of 5W or 10W (since according to you they are more efficient)? |
Please I need the help of members of this forum on the following issues: 1. I use a Honda Accord(US specs), according to the car manual, I am supposed to use an engine oil of between 5 and 10W(depending upon my ambient temperature). However all the engine oils I see in the Nigerian market are 30W(and I use them). What do I do? Can I conclude that the extra 20W in viscosity is because our ambient temperature is higher? Or do I need oil treatment to make up the perceived deficiency(bearing in mind that the manual also says that oil treatment has no advantage, but adds up to the cost of maintaining the vehicle and may even damage the engine)? 2. The last time I added a coolant to my radiator, I did not dilute it 50:50 with water as required by the car manual. I did this because the instruction on the coolant can says 'DON'T DILUTE'. Who should I take to? Or are there certain conditions that requires diluting the coolant or not? Thank you |
Great move. Just wish leaders in Africa and in Nigeria can exhibit such sincerity as Pep did, instead of crying foul play as they are doing in Charles Taylor's ICC case. |
