People may probably compare Kidd & Erica situation to Yemi and Kobosi situation and I will say there's a bit of similarities, considering Yemi didn't also ask out Kobosi to begin with, aside the fact that it was Kobosi who went to Yemi's bed and started to blackmail him thereafter despite the fact that Yemi had previously informed her from the onset that he wanted nothing serious with her, aside the fact that her hypocritical self was also flirting with toddler yet she continued to play the victim and blackmail Yemi with the threat of disqualifying herself if she saw Yemi with other girls.

However, at some point, Yemi stopped flirting and concentrated on kobosi. At first, I thought it was Ebuka's question but I realised it wasn't. As a matter of fact, same Ebuka also tried to open Yemi's eyes subsequently later but still, he was unperturbed. He wouldn't even flirt with Blue or Nelisa, despite the fact that he saw kobosi doing things with toddler. His rose tinted glass was on at that time. That was the difference.

When it comes to this Erica's DQ, I've seen most people make the mistake of blaming her outburst solely on that Nengi and Kidd flirting on the dance floor shenanigan that night. While that was also a trigger for Erica, it wasn't the main issue. That deed was just the stroke that broke the camel's back.

The main frustration that led to Erica's outburst was Ebuka's coded revelation about what Laycon said about her to other HMs. When that eviction night ended and Erica approached Laycon for clarity and got none, Erica grew hatred for him. If you'd recall on the Monday the next day during her DS, she told Biggie that after Laycon refused to clarify what he had said about her to her, that he's now canceled to her. She went ahead to later nominate Laycon for the first time that season that same night (correct me if wrong).


That week, Erica also felt isolated and talked to Tolanibaj about it, even confirming that she had only Tolanibaj and Kidd as the people in her corner. Seeing Laycon distance himself from her while now being with Vee whom she disliked and felt was the reason her friendship with Laycon took a turn for the worse, made her boil within.


She was just harboring a lot of pent-up anger, bitterness and frustration on the house generally, so when the Nengi-Kidd flirting happened in the club, it triggered her and then she proceeded to attack her main target for the frustration which is Laycon. At that point, she was done with the whole house. It is why she even was mad at Prince and just about anyone.

No be that night be the first time Kidd and Nengi dey flirt, so why did she go crazy? It because of the build-ups of various frustration in that week and week leading to that week, that made her erupt. She needed an avenue to vent and Kidd and Nengi's flirting gave her one.

Very good. Now, it should be noted (as you rightly did here) that when Laycon made mention of Erica trying to kiss him, it wasn't him trying to troll or provoke Erica intentionally. He might have been saying these things out of honest concerns about Erica. That's fine and good.

When Ebuka brought up this subject publicly that Sunday, Erica obviously felt embarrassed, slighted and betrayed that Laycon should say these things about her. It didn't matter to her whether it was true or not. It didn't matter what Laycon's true intentions were. As far as she knew, Laycon was trying to drag her name in the mud with those statements. On the night of the confrontation, she attacked nearly all the housemates, but anyone who is smart enough could have literally seen that the major target of her inglorious tirade was Laycon. She made mention of the attempted kiss numerous times in her rants.

Provocation can be indirect and unintended, or accidental. When Laycon said those things about Erica, he failed to take into account the possible chain of events that would lead to her eventual meltdown, through no fault of his own. Of course, there is a whole other argument about whether it was even right for Laycon to go about telling people how Erica tried to kiss him in the first place, given the sensitivity of the matter, but I won't bother to go down that rabbit hole.

You can try to deny this and pretend it isn't true, but Ebuka bringing up Laycon's statements publicly played a big role in Erica's outburst later on, and this is evidenced in the fact that Laycon was the biggest receiver of her slurs and attacks that night, with the attempted kiss being a major talking point.

Also, Tbaj doesn't even mark territory with Neo. I mean we've seen Princess' legs on Neo, Angel's on Neo etc right in front of Tbaj who did nothing. In fact she sees Neo as a friend regardless of him telling her stuff and as far as no one is mouthing off at her, she no get wahala. It's even Neo who marks territory with Tbaj whenever he sees her with other guys whom he said he didn't like.

Lol. I don't know if you're trying to be funny or not. Lol. As long as no one is playing the victim or Blackmailing while acting vindictive after he or she had gone to someone's personal bed. Or acting vindictive after a sleep over in one's personal bed was turned down.

However, one thing which people should realise is not all "sleep over" in one's bed lead to something intimate, as long as they can both vouch for eachother as friends. Tbaj, Neo, Kidd are close friends to some degree. That was why I said if Tbaj and Neo had something going, they would have done more intimate thing while sleeping in eachother's bed.

That being said, they may like eachother but nothing is going on at the moment.

Let me also add that some comfortable friends can share bed and sleep in each other's bed. Imagine gisting together on the same bed, after which they sleep off. And we know Neo & Tbaj love gisting. Tbaj & Kidd would have done same thing, if Kidd was her bed partner in the house. One thing I knew was they would have kissed long ago, if they really had something while being close as they're in an enclosed space on the show. Hell, they were talking about their specs few days ago.
