The plantain took 1 year, the tumeric and yam took 6-8 months each. You don't need any special equipment, and for the seedlings, when you go to the market, try to ask those market women which one is good for planting and take a good look at them too. You can plant irish potatoes in the same soil but the leaves spread alot. Blessedmercy8: |

The tumeric was initially planted in a location I did not like, so I had to uprooot them and plant them in a better place, they died at first but after watering for some time, they srang up and filled the whole place. Blessedmercy8: |

The man had come to get food for himself and his colleagues and left, then came back few minutes later to get water and that was when Mama Risi raised alarm about her missing container. She claimed to have placed it right beside her and said she didn't see it when the bricklayer left. The man was brutally beaten and was seriously begging for his life, the thugs who usually purchased food on credit from Mama Risi had already provided fuel and tyre to burn the man when Mama Risi's grandson walked in bearing the purse and said he went to look for change. |
