Sit down there and be waiting for Buhari to fix how you use your head to think and mean well for your country or how you value yourself as a citizen.

Mad people everywhere blaming Buhari for their depravity
Mumu, Buhari and his family live on the people's dime because of what? Because they passed a big exam? Or because people have faith that, if power is consolidated in their dad, things will improve? Idiots like you rant on, like Buhari, that change begins with you, but that's not how societal changes occurhuhhuh The GI bill that educated most in the US was not passed by a waiter in the bar; it was pushed by the president, you clown. Africans keep giving their leaders a pass and expect improvements. YEYE, if you have counterinfo, I will be willing to engage you; else SCRAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. Tell us, what have you changed on your street(talk less of local government)? Power needs to be consolidated to be efficient, you tool.

An independent entity described your country and people in a disgraceful way and you showed total lack of shame to mention Buhari's name!

Maybe Buhari taught parents to enrol their kids in miracle centres for WAEC exam or told SARS and police to harass innocent citizens for bribe or bail. Maybe Buhari taught Nigerians how to bribe their way everywhere they go or import/produce fake and substandard goods.

Get your head out of your arse hole and think critically!
Mr Buhari'sdad, you get your head out of his arse. The buck stops at Buhari (the clown's) table. Name one problem mentioned in the US write-up that Buhari is near fixing? One! Well, I don't expect a response, your head is way up is arse, so you might not be able to talk/type. YEYE dey SMELL.

Lol. Don't be thin-skinned like buhari. Hehehhehehhe. But to be honest music influences oh, especially depending on the mood and music. I recall in my secondary days wen some boys beat me up for standing up to them for bullying my friend. As a scared little boy I didn't have the mind to fight back. But when I got home, listened to a lot of DMX and 2pac songs, I punched my wardrobe in anger, picked up a knife and went to one of the guys house in a bid to kill him or attempt to kill him. On getting there no one was home. Actually it was the music that got me to that move. On my own I wldnt be able to do that. So my brother music influenced me. And music has made a lot of girl date boys way back in secondary school and they ended up getting pregnant. It may not affect all but some are young and can be easily influenced. Y do u think ppl that smoke we smoke more when listening to ganja planters like snoop n Bob marley etc.
Fair!

I am committing it daily on this forum and many others. I just left Naija 2 days ago and nothing happened at the airport. In fact, your law enforcement officers were asking for small change. Sowore got out because the wife appealed to her district senator, Menendez. Mine is Dick Durbin -- far more influential. No chest beating here. I can understand why you think that way: you have never lived in an organized society. That's why you would support this nonsense act from an administration that cannot prevent actual injuries like the herdsmen nonsense. Except you threaten to kill the US president, it's almost impossible to be charged for anything. You've got this illiterate slowpoke of a president that is doing horrific work telling everybody to shut up. YEYE place filled with YEYE people.

The entire Nigerian army can't track me here. Look, ask yourself, we are bantering around in a country that has enormous security challenges; should this even matter? The fact that you're concerned about this shows how much the country has deteriorated. We have been dissing presidents on Nairaland forever; why is this one special? Please answer if you can.

My condolences. Now let me find a translator for the US Marines that your embassy contacted.
Dude go away and save your data!. If a US citizen is arrested in Nigeria or one of other 53 countries, the US consulate/embassy HAS to be notified. Someone from the embassy HAS to visit to check the conditions of the jail. If it's a human right issue and not a criminal one, as in the case, the embassy will issue a protest. If local laws contradict human rights, the country must provide an explanation as to why. So the Nigerian government can detain me for 72 hours and nothing more. My guy, receive sense. I read in your other post about being a second class citizen in the US. Now ask yourself, are you a first-class citizen in Nigeria? Think well before responding because whenever I arrive Naija, na yessir yessir from first-class citizens oh!!!!!!!!!! I even hire one of your soldiers as tour guide. YEYE, again, dey smell.

Create what chaos? This is a joke from an online troll. When OBJ was president, some guy used to take out a full page in Prime People -- weekly -- to insult him. He/Prime People never got in trouble. You should be so worried about a thin-skinned administration. Buhari was threatening -- which turned out not to be a threat -- violence if he lost the 2011 elections. Nigerians, please wake up! You are fooling yourself. It's then you will know your "black ass" is worth nothing and that your adopted passport doesn't cover you except if you are white American. Go online to learn from other people's experience.

And comparing yourself to Sowore? Someone who deliberately refuse to become a US citizen but is popular enough internationally to get Buhari to release him, or you, a Mr Nobody that choose to be a second-class citizen. Who do you think the Americans will respect more. One that has pride in his country to the point of refusing to be a US citizen or one who is hoping to be a long time parasite that ran to them like a dog with its tail in-between his leg. Do people like you have any pride or self esteem at all. Because I can't see myself boasting about other people's country.
Hater, you would like to believe so. The US has procedures -- black ass does not matter. Look a black man calling me a black ass. They could not act because Sowore is not a US citizen; that's why they had to act through his wife. So let me educate you, if a US citizen is jailed on spurious charges in a 3rd world country, the embassy MUST investigate and compare the charges to US law. And Sowore wife, a US citizen, acted on his behalf by reaching out to the Senator, which everyone here can do, as she's a nobody too (at least according to you). No international clout helped Sowore. Plus I'm not naturalized. YEYE dey smell. Clown Buhari Ass.

I want Tinubu to be investigated. I am not a good fan of PMB. However, one would need to read the contents to know if the arrest is justified or not. Some of the titles up there are not any bit tactful. That's not journalism but partisanship.

Journalism is not about publicising your opinion on papers that are supposedly meant to be neutral. However, a good writer can always express his opinion either by tactfully presenting it as a reflection of other people's take or galvanizing it with empirical information such that his message would be received without creating room for any harassment.

"President Buhari does not believe in Nigeria" is a terrible title that appears far more opinionated than factual; this is regardless of how true it may be. A better title would have been "Presidents Buhari's loopsided appointments cast a shadow of doubt on his one-Nigeria mantra". Here, the number of Northerners heading different MDAs could serve as the backing empirical evidence. Besides, this title comes off as an expression of doubt and not a statement of fact thus protecting the writer. Another better title would be "President Buhari does not believe in Nigeria - Internet users". Here the writer would be presenting his case as an opinion of others and could easily fetch numerous online posts to back it up if push comes to shove.

Journalism requires tact and mind games. The students may not have these skills yet but the supervising lecturer whom I suppose is from the department of Mass Communication should have known better.

Poor guys...
Like Buhari, you be mumu thin skin. You go report post wey you no like. Look, Africa, having people like you, will never develop. You idiots don't know the ingredient of development. Obama and Trump are probably the most insulted people on earth, yet no one gets arrested except they make a threat. price of broillers still differs across states.
Broiler of 2k in Abuja is 4k in Benin because of competition in Abuja.
Most retired military generals in abuja are into the business.
Your not seeing the brighter side of the long run.
What ikkenna is telling us indirectly is that there's opportunity in this line of business people should come in and invest which in turn creates employment on the short run and also creates excess supply in the long run which also in turn reduces price which is a win win on all end..
A business of this kind can not be locked down by few individuals.
Its cheap and easy to venture in.
There is no win-win when consumers are paying more than they should, which they would as there is no competition. The local dealers need to be enabled to bridge the cost gap, after all they already have location advantage.

Border closure might seem to be doing more harm than Good in the short run but would have great positive effect in the long run.
See how local rice don yakpa for market with better price.
If only we rejected the pains of recession we would be forced into buying foreign rice at greater price today.
Its like the old saying "no pain no gain"
I disagree: It will do short-term good, like Ikenna's, and cause damage in the long run. There is no incentive for local producers to drop prices (and compete) if they know they have the market on lock. Ask yourself, why is someone from the other end of the world, despite transportation and storage cost, able to produce chicken cheaper? That's the question a progressive government would try to find answers to.
