It is just normal instinct that all living things carry and exhibit When faced with death/termination. You can observe it in animals and even down to unicellular organisms.

The animals fear of dying only rises when you are about to kill it. There is no fear and worry when it is dying naturally.

For man, we all see that he is in great terror, fear and panick as he dies.

And this is not talk about the feeling of oncoming justice we all feel when they are people who have offended us. Exactly how we all feel and know that politicians shall receive their punishments when they die and all the justice we want would be given to us.
