Christianity tries its best, but it’s funny—Sundays are meant to be holy, yet in the most Christian areas, brothels and bars are busier than ever.
Satan always tries to corrupt God's things.

When sexual temptation tempts you with immediate pleasure, remember that you're choosing between temporary gratification and lasting reward. The investment of present obedience pays eternal dividends.

Think long-term. Make choices today that your future self will thank you for, not choices you'll spend years regretting.
Bros, talk the reward. Tell them that they must marry the wrong person and must have bad marriages and many other everything bad bad things follow after that. See Ned Nwoko na. No be cry and hala e dey do since even though e get money?

God was still talking with Cain too after passing judgement on him?
There is no record of cain fornicating and no, by the records, the judgement day was the last time God Spoke with Cain.

Brenbentondiaz:
So if God left Samson after that sin, who gave him the power to kill more Philistines in death than when he was alive?
Does the record not show that Samson became as normal men when God left him to the point that he even begged for mercy and power to end it all?

Virgins that avoid sex but lack self control (the fruit of the Holy Spirit) will get married taste sex and still begin to wonder how others would have or would taste like.

Virginity is not virtue, you may have lost your virginity but do not lose your virtue, you may have your virginity but you must gain and have virtue.
Correct.

But at least, they have overcome the first part which is to not do like Adam male and female in sinning by getting married first by their Parents (Power and Right of Parental Consent) before doing the do.

And thereafter, the next stage is to understand that The Law prohibiting Adultery has now started so now they have to continue doing all they did before marriage to ensure that they still do not fall for even this worser one.

And this is where such couples need to know that their opposite sex is always ALWAYS a devu used by saytan, whether brother in law or sister in law or father in law or mother in law or cousin, nice neighbour, nice friend, etc. All of them are enemies of your soul

More dangerous than witchcraft? Idolatry? Samson didn't sell his life for sexual sin. He made the mistake of loving the wrong woman. I wonder where you lot always bring your funny ideas from. Was it sexual sin that also made Moses not reach the promised land? Probably sexual sin was why Cain was cursed by God too, right? Sexual sin made Saul lose his throne? Jeroboam? Lolz.
See, God still kept on Talking and walking with Moses even after his huge mistake whereas, God left Samson.

So, bro, it is the No1/2 worsest sin especially as it was even the door that sin entered man and became part of man.

Save that it is Number 2 because disobedience is Number 1. However, I join it to No. 1 because, it needed to be done for the offence of disobedience to be complete. See Actus reus vs Mens Rea.)

Both are condemnable. So ask another question.
Yes, they are.

I am just trying to remind people that just as they remember and know that stealing is an offence to the point that many would claim that they have not stolen, so also is it the same thing for fornication.

And this is not to even say that fornication was the number 1 sin. (Save that it is Number 2 because disobedience is Number 1. However, I join it to No. 1 because, it needed to be done for the offence of disobedience to be complete. See Actus reus vs Mens Rea.)

My problem is Holy spirit was able to empower Samson to expire Philistines many times. But for the spirit to empower him against formication holy spirit ran way!
That is how you hate yourself so, that you are not afraid of insulting The Holy Spirit. Everyday for the scorner, God just only needs a day.

On the issue, if not that you are a veri evu. person u would have sin that Samson was a very regular man. And as with regular men he had his own talent as The Spirit gives. And like Paul's talent was to talk and teach Law Samson's own talent was to deliver bad people to the prison of death for prosecution.

Therefore, like everyman, he already has the power he needed to avoid fornication.

Christianity Etc › Re: When Church Becomes The Wound: The Silent Pain Many Christians Are Hiding by Dtruthspeaker: 8:21am On Nov 16, 2025
EnlightenUp:
There’s a kind of pain many Christians don’t talk about, the pain that comes from the very place meant to heal you.

Some of us walked into church looking for refuge and walked out carrying wounds we’re still too ashamed to mention. Not because we don’t love God, but because the people we trusted misrepresented Him. It’s a silent crisis in the Christian community: It affects your faith, your prayer life, your trust, and sometimes even your picture of God.

Many believers are silently bleeding because they don’t know how to explain what they’re feeling without being judged, misunderstood, or labeled “rebellious.”

Have you ever been hurt by someone in church and didn’t know who to tell?

Have you ever loved Jesus but feared going back to a church building?

Have you ever been made to feel guilty for speaking up?

Or did you ever leave quietly just to protect your peace?
Many people carry these experiences, but silence has been killing them slowly.

In this short summary, I won’t dive into everything yet, but let me say this:

There’s a kind of pain that hides behind worship songs.
There’s a kind of confusion that makes you love Jesus but fear His people.
There’s a kind of betrayal that makes you question your own discernment.

And if you’ve ever felt any of these, you’re not alone, you’re not crazy, and you’re not faithless.
In the full guide, I break down the real signs, the silent battles nobody talks about, the mistakes people make while trying to heal, and the practical + biblical steps that actually help you recover your peace, rebuild trust, and find your way back to God without guilt or pressure.

I also included something many Christians have never had access to before:
a simple but powerful 7-step recovery framework, plus how to forgive without being foolish, how to set boundaries without guilt, and how to know whether to stay or leave a hurting church.

If you’ve been wounded by leaders, church politics, manipulation, gossip, or spiritual pressure… this might be the most healing thing you’ll read this year.
Full guide (including recovery steps, signs, boundaries & more) available by tapping my profile
It's not a silent bleeding oo. It was a gushing hemorrhage. The way they changed Truths into a Lie I almost wanted to rush to the pulpit and the punch pastor and priest and disgrace him in front of the whole church for being a Liar and a perverter of Truth.

But then, I saw that people around were loving the rubbish and lies he was saying, so I left and never went back there. And rather turned my house and home into a house of praise and a place of Truth.

Reverseng:
One key quality of truth is simplicity.

Now to simplify religion, Christianity in particular, one begins to ask themself,

"If Jesus truly came to die for the sins of this world, why did he wait to be murdered?

Why didn't he commit suicide, if truly he was bent on killing himself for the sins you're committing?"

As flawed as man's justice system is, a mother cannot be sent to prison for the crimes her son commits, talkless of the heavenly justice system of perfection.
First, the opposite of happiness is s0rr0wness. Depression is just the physical proof of the plentyness of s0rr0w.

Secondly as floored as the artificial legal system is, a criminal cannot stand surety for a criminal. So how can you expect Jesus to commit a crime to save a criminal?

Thirdly, He came to save murderers, thieves, fornicators etc so how would He not be murdered?

I think, it was stated that Christ will not come & judgement will not hold until every corner of the world has heard the gospel?

Right now, I still believe that there are parts of the world that have never heard the gospel of salvation,
that's why I'm curious about the time for the tribulation.

Secondly, I'm sure rapture has not yet taken place, & tribulation by the antichrist is supposed to come after the rapture.

What's your take on the points I've raised?
To say the whole Truth, people who say the bold are people who know that they have failed already or are failing already despite all the advises, signs and timeliness laid out.

And despite all you see, isn't it clear that the world is in the tribulations already?

And tribulations started after the revival period which we all today are witnesses for.

And do you not see all the antiChrists all over the place? It clearly tells you that the rapture has indeed happened and it did not play out in the way people were expecting it.

You post isn't making sense. Reread what you replied to.
That is because you are looking at it from the narrow
view forgetting that clinical trial means that man is in full control of the trial environment. Whereas, God/deity means A Power beyond the full control of man Who operates at His Own discretion and convenience.

Therefore, it is not logical to put God and clinical test in the same place.

Going by the Greek word mistranslated "COMING" the correct rendering is "PRESENCE" meaning when Jesus begins his kingdom rule in heaven[/of course he will...!

And since the world is His own would He not COME back for it? Or did you read that He dashed man this world and therefore He was just going to build another one?

Will there be a great revival before the tribulation or during the tribulation?
It has passed already and it was before the troublations.

That is what you saw in the 2000s when everybody was hungry and happy to go to church and the church was full of miracles and all. It is that period that gave birth to the churches everyone now knows eg. Rccg, christ embassy etc

I have questions even though I want to agree with the statement that belief shapes reality. The statement seems a too simple to actually capture our experiences in words. I think I see something there but it hasn't resolved itself into a clear outline.

If placebo works without belief in a magic sky daddy then there is no need for it. To me that indicates there isn't a sky daddy at all because you cannot produce any effect from your faith in magic sky daddy that is distinguishable from natural occurrence both in efficacy and frequency.
DeepSight:

But yes, I see what you mean. The principle holds that no sky daddy is required for this.
Do we not have things that works without belief eg biro, pencil, phone?

All these placebo-nocebo things are these not borne out of something called spiritual power? If there was no human interference do people not already do the placebo-nocebo things on their own? Eg a person who drinks palmwine and falls sick blames it on the palmwine, even when the palmwine tapper was not there.

Or the one who says he was feeling sick and then he drank stout and feels better even though the brewer is not there.

There is the place of belief eg the first time flyer or first time using a lift and there are places where beliefs are out of play.
