The Bible is given us Warning in Advance that we shall not be good people, but that we shall be evil people. And as you have said, evil people are liable for punishment.

The Laws were there even before us, but the Bible had seen that it has been Altered, Covered, Modified and even "Removed" by men.

And that naturally of course, we who come after these evil changes have been done, we would think it normal to behave in accordance with these Changed Laws, thinking it was natural and that it has always been like this before, therefore, it is okay and good to obey them.

Whereas, they are laws which put us in trouble TO LOSE OUR ETERNAL LIFE.

But typical us, we do not first hear it.
