Righteousness89:

Young man, go read your Bible well!

You are totally Confused!

Your Vehement or not Vehement is nonsense! It does not Move God!

All God Almighty looks for is a Heart that is truly sorry for what He or she has done!

When Prophet Nathan Told David of what he has done! David simply said, "I have sinned against the LORD" and Nathan said, The Lord has put away thy sins. 2Samuel12.

Sin has it consequences! You can be Forgiven does not mean the Consequences don't come. That's for God to decide not me!

There are people who Repented and God said forgive you! The Consequences won't come during your time ..

David act of killing Uriah and Marrying Beersheba got Forgiven but the child that came forth from that act of adultery was taken away.

God has a way of dealing with various persons..

The Criminal at the Cross is in Heaven today with just a simply prayer of " Lord Remember me when thou Comest into thy Kingdom " Matthew 23:42

Prayerfully Read your Bible! Stop hooking yourself with unnecessary burdens that you can't carry on your Neck!
How much is the measurement of the heart? I know you know that it is written that "the Lord Tries the heart", what does "try" mean?

For the answer, is it not written "A false balance is abomination to the Lord: What do we balance? Is it not weights?

And the next statement clearly tells us

"but a just weight is his delight"

How shall you know if a weight is just, without Weighing it?

And if you fail to understand the gravity of it (haha, grin see, I have used Weight again) Let me Borrow the Judgements of the Lord by Demanding of You, Tell me Mr Righteousness, who among these shall require a great forgiveness,

One who offended his wife, by having sex with her sister? Or

One who pushed her when he was in a haste?

For those who may not know the answer, I refer you to Luke 7:36-50, for you to make your own independent judgement for yourselves.

To Mr Righteousness and to all, I close by saying

All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits. (that word "Weigh" again)

A just weight and balance are the Lord's: all the weights of the bag are his work. (Weights again).

Every man had His Personal dealings with God.
No matter how angry God was with a man all through the Bible, once you show a sign of Remorse,Humility and Repentance He forgives instantly!
This is not True! Every one who was forgiven, Seriously and vehemently begged for it. And until God Forgave they did not have it. Eg Moses, the Speak to the Rock Affair). Eli for his sons.

My Personal Friend, David, even pleaded for Forgiveness for the Uriah Affair but did not escape the Consequences.

The Woman with the Alabaster Box Seriously Begged until Christ Expressly Forgave her!

By the Bible Standards, if you do not Seriously Beg and Obtain Forgiveness, You Do Not Have It!

Hezekiah had a good work with God and ended well from the Bible.
Hezekiah's Case is even more interesting, for he like Solomon did both well and foolishly.

But unlike Solomon, he had a Store of Goodness with the Lord. But he did not understand that God was telling him to seek forgiveness of his sins and die in Peace, to Obtain Rest but he asked the Lord to Give him his Goodnesses in the hand of the Lord, so that he could enjoy it on earth, and he did not care about what Will Surely Happen to his children.

But all he wanted was to enjoy life on earth, which the Lord granted him.

So Hezekiah Cashed Out his Savings with the Lord for 15 years of enloyment!

That is my Submission!

We know that the books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Songs of Solomon were inspired by the Holy Ghost. Did he write them towards the end of his life or otherwise? What did the Bible say about his end?
The Combination of 1kings 11:9-14 and verses 31-40 Particularly verse 38 which says

And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; (Not Solomon) that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.

u said Solomon ddnt enter God's rest like his father. I simply asked how u arrived at this conclusion cos it seemed like a fallacy.... how my short question seem to have various interpretation beats me...if you don't understand my question it okay to ignore
My Conclusion is based on the Watching God's Responses to People and people's Responses to God!

For, Look at all God's Responses to man, After He Firsts, Introduced Himself to a person.

When such a person does well, God keeps Speaking with them at various intervals, Regularly, until the person Sleeps or dies eg Abraham, Jacob, Samuel, David etc

When a person does not well, God almost Never Speaks to that person Again eg Eli, Samson, Hezekiah and Solomon.

And the story almost always Contains the Words "And He walked with the Lord, for the remainder of his days!"

...however, I feel Solomon's attitude of joining his idol worshipping wives to worship other gods may be a period of weakness.
a man that has engaged God directly would have probably retraced his steps when his peaceful reign became threatened by Hadad the edomite, Rezon son of Eliada and Jeroboam
And Adversaries where Raised Up By God After Solomon's Departure, to Torment Solomon.

And what was Solomon's Response, was it not to do evil, in seeking the death of his Adversaries Rather than To Seek the Forgiveness of God and face the Consequences of his Foolishness, which is what David his father, did?

Did David not do a similar error (the Uriah Affair), did David seek to kill anybody, even his own sons, for his Error?

That's why I Love David, He was Really a Very Wise Man, which is why I Understand why God Friended Him!

thanks jare my brother. But what's your argument based on?
Remember this Scripture:

1 Peter 3:18-19 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
My argument is based on the Several Several Warnings his father David, Friend of God, Warned him Severally.

He heard them, Thanks Be to God that he recorded them too and confirmed the authenticity of the David's Psalms and witnessed the Truth of them, but, he painfully departed on a Serious Further Search.

But, alas, he found no other way, which was why he Painfully Wrote the Ecclesiastes, describing in detail the futility of his adventure.

And he was the Best at it, for no one had the resources and power to engage in this quest as he did, yet he Failed, for he found no other way.

And while I am thankful to God that Solomon resolved the end all pursuits (for me too, I was about embarking on such a foolishness, and Solomon was my map, when I saw that in every road there is to turn, there was failure there. Back to my statement) I am indeed grieved on his behalf and his father's behalf that, he had gone too far to return again, and he knew it!

Which is why I am able to tell all these atheist, Thinkers and any person who cares to Listen, That There is no Other Way.

All Roads Lead to a Fall From A Very High Cliff! My Authority, Solomon, he Checked Them All and He gave us his discoveries and his findings which Are Solidly True, even till Tomorrow!

I think 1 Peter 3:18-19 is a separate and distinct issue. It can not be merged with the Solomon Issue you raised here

If we are to go by the records in the Holy Bible, then he definitely didn't!

Its also possible that he Repented.
Because if you look His End in

1Kings 11:41
And the rest of the acts of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom, are they not written in the book of the acts of Solomon?

The Bible did not give us the "Rest of his acts"

So it's possible, Solomon Repented Befor he finally passed away.

We will know better when we get to Heaven..
It is possible but I do not think so, because, the way God left him eh, God was very very pained oh.

Especially as God had lifted him so so much, eh, if you fall, you must fall Terribly.

If it is not true, check Adam/Eve, Saul, even Pharoah, Hezekiah, I See Law in them all.

Which is why David Clearly Said "There is nothing like when a Honourable Man Falls!"

I don't really have any problem with the early morning preaching as long as they are done decently and without much noise. That is usually when people and even kids are waking up from sleep.
I do.

When you preach men ought to see your face and access if you Truly are a Disciple of Christ.

Not once did Christ or his disciples, preach at in inconvenient hour neither did they preach at any place which is not the usual place where such activities are acceptable to be carried out, save of course invitations to the private homes of individuals.

It is wrong to unreasonably Infringe on the Natural God-given Rights of other souls.

God Himself,. Who gave us these Rights has Instructed that all must Live Peacefully and to unreasonably wake me or my neighbours up at an early hour, will not make us peaceful, in direct breach of God's Command

Whatever is needed to be said in the wee hours, can always be said when the day is broken and at the Relevant Time.

One thing about them is that they love to dodge whatever was thrown at them.....they have no reasonable answer to explain why an almighty and loving God made those innocent children die and suffer......

They all skipped this part and started the ad hominen attack.....
And we have supplied that the Reasonable Answer to Your Shitty thread, is That, it is Your Evil Brothers Who Are Doing All the Killings BECAUSE You Refused to Listen to the Lord who said "Kill the killers and Wicked People in your midst!"

But No, you did not! You are more Right and Righteous than God, so you let them go.

I think it is intentional from false christians who are agents of wickedness residing in the church as Judas Iscariot did.

In the past, they used to come around by 7.30 in the mornings, now, as early as 4.30am one would have started down the road and by 6.15am, 5 would have made their noises, and have completely disappeared into the darkness whence they came from.

What's the point of knowledge without wisdom.
You know so much about Genesis, yet you still can't sense the truth..
You mean the tree of knowledge of good and bad is the cause of our problems? You're fine being naked? Being a simpleton and controlled?
When Adam and eve ate the fruit, what happened? Who was right? God or Satan?

I have one advice for everyone here: Read the book of Genesis again. Without bias. As a freethinker. And you will find the truth. The truth keeps shouting at us. But we're too blind to see. The Bible paints the enemy clearly but we can't see.

Y'all should expect a series from me titled :THE TRUTH
"Who was right? God or Satan?"

Wrong question, you mean to say who spoke Truly?

"You're fine being naked? Being a simpleton and controlled?"

You see how blind you are, and yet it was reported that the

Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field;

Does that sounds like a simpleton to you?

He who requires wisdom and understanding, let him ask it of the Lord or please, kindly withold thy foolishness in thy bossom, for when a fool shutteth his mouth, he might be thought wise!
