amazing how this generation spend a good portion of their life dating. people just want to be in relationships for no good reason. any where you go you just go find a date.
PoliticsRe: Constituents Move To Recall Farouk Lawan by duality(m): 9:40am On Jun 18, 2012
beaf, what your opinion on the fuel subsidy report. should it be acted upon by the president or should he wait; i think what we do about the subsidy report is more important than the issues of otedola and lawan.
whats your take on it.

secondly, should the petroleum minister step aside; just as was done in SEC, NCCAA etc for a total cleansing of the oil sector?

i'll also like to say; that no matter your opinion and what people say i see you as a very intelligent guy. at least you are good at what you do.
PoliticsRe: Great Ogboru Denies Moves To ACN by duality(m): 3:41pm On Jun 13, 2012
the same people who routed for obgoru in 2003, 2007,2011(jan)and 2011(april) are still the same people clamoring for him. but those who can see beyond the ordinary, know that ogboru can not be governor in delta state for now. maybe much later in the future.

PoliticsRe: Democracy Day, Jonathan 1st year, How Is Power Supply In Your Area? by duality(m): 10:23am On May 29, 2012
its quite ludicrous that ppl think that the power situation can be changed just like going to a shop and buying a generating set and putting it on. if power is worth having in nigeria then, its worth waiting for. the best nigerians can do is to support this administration to succeed. coz that is the only way nigerians will profit from it. if this administration fails, it is still nigerians that will suffer.

PoliticsRe: Great Ogboru Is Moving To ACN? by duality(m): 12:28pm On May 26, 2012
don33310: This is a smart move,in DPP he was fighting alone but in ACN,the party will join forces with him and he should have someone like Pat Utomi as his deputy, then the rest is history.
if you knw prof Utomi very well, then you'll understand that it is IMPOSSIBLE for him to be ogboru's deputy.
PoliticsRe: Great Ogboru Is Moving To ACN? by duality(m): 12:25pm On May 26, 2012
off all the intellectuals of delta origin Ogboru for that matter. if ogboru is the best delta can bring forward then its most unfortunate. truth is that with the way delta state is constituted, its gona be very difficult for ogboru to win delta state. at lest not in 2015.

PoliticsRe: Delta Fuels 6 Generators With N3.6bn In 4 Years by duality(m): 7:45pm On May 16, 2012
Fhemmmy: So generator is the best way to go according to your argument?
don't you have a generator? thats the reality we find our self with. as far as nigeria is concerned if you want near efficient light. be it street ight, office light, or home light. you must use generator. however the most appropriate is the mains supply which as a country, we still don't have. don't be sentimental. the day we fix power in naija ALL street lights will be powered from the mains supply
PoliticsRe: Delta Fuels 6 Generators With N3.6bn In 4 Years by duality(m): 7:07pm On May 16, 2012
Fhemmmy: So you mean they should power street lights with generator in year 2012?
Please dont even say this to high school kids in normal society . .
i think you should study this thing about street lights first. FOR NOW if you want efficiency solar is not the way to go. besides these things are best powered from the mains supply which is still inefficient in naija.
PoliticsRe: Delta Fuels 6 Generators With N3.6bn In 4 Years by duality(m): 7:02pm On May 16, 2012
Fhemmmy: Do you know how many streets could be lighted with Solar Street light with this kinda money?
can you mention the streets that have been lit with half that amount in Nigeria besides there are also solar powered steer lights in the state. but i noticed that they are not as bright as the gen powered lights. my point is any thing Good should be appreciated first before all these mis yarn.
PoliticsRe: Delta Fuels 6 Generators With N3.6bn In 4 Years by duality(m): 6:16pm On May 16, 2012
if there were no street lights ppl will complain. now there are street lights and ppl are still complaining about the cost. the street light adds to the aesthetics of the environment. and also helps in security. any body driving tru asaba @ night will appreciate this. even folks across the naiger fill bad they don't have such in their domain. and here you have ppl crying coz they are not part of the diesel contract. all those crying blood here won't say anything if they were the ones supplying the diesel. keeping the streets lit efficiently for the past 5 years most come at a cost. so get that into your brain. i know the govt has lots of issues but condemning the steet light is most unfortunate. even when there is no phcn supply the street lights sustains the night life which in my opinion has its economic importance.
PoliticsRe: PDP Is The Best Party For Nigeria by duality(m): 1:14pm On May 15, 2012
faithin9ja: It is so SAD, but PDP is the party Nigerians deserve. PDP like it's predecessor NPN is the only national party in Nigeria today all other parties are based on regions and/or religion.

Any real Nigerian who wants to get into politics, and wants to get elected, so he or she can improve their family will in most parts of Nigeria join PDP.

Most Nigerians think politics (and even their day to day jobs) is all about what that job (or political position) can do for them and their family, very few Nigerians enter any vocation for the sake of others.

Our parents push us to be doctors and lawyers not because we will cure sick people in the Nation or fight for justice but because these are perceived to be high paying professions, Nigerian youths want to work for oil companies or banks, not because they want to fight oil pollution or give loans to small businesses, but because they want higher salaries and a company that well cover their diesel bill.

So how are we, Nigerians different when we enter politics - very few Nigerians have any kind of political ideology. We only enter politics for what we can get. Many of my friends and associates left the US and UK to move to Nigeria to enter politics or because their brother had political appointment, none of them ever said I am going home to improve something for my people.

Most of these people ended up in PDP, why PDP because this is the winning party, unless you are from ACN, CPPC or APGA states, whereupon you enter those parties.

How many 'nairalanders' have even joined a political party? and how many of you joined for ideological reasons?

For that matter how is APGA or ANPP or PDP ideology different, don't they all promise us the same things?

So as the heading of the post states, as long as Nigerians only get up in the morning to sort our own stomach out first, PDP will remain in power.
very correct. can't wast my time on any god forsaking party that can't win election or at least guarantee political contracts.
