Voting is set to commence shortly. Has anyone spoken to any voter/voters yet? |
An election exit poll is a poll of voters taken immediately after they have exited the polling stations. Unlike an opinion poll, which asks whom the voter plans to vote for or some similar formulation, an exit poll asks whom the voter actually voted for. If you are located at any one of the numerous polling units across the country, and have had the opportunity to personally speak to citizens who have voted, you may want to share that information with us. Please be truthful and responsible in your reporting, and remember to tell us where your polling took place. Lets us know what you're hearing and stay safe. |
Rest on Hamed. You've ran your race and even in death, you won. My thank you and respect goes to TeHn and all the kind hearted individuals who with their hard earned money, prayers, time, thoughts and well wishes, stood steadfast with a brother in need. Rest on DJ. |
Jennylov:Madam, I very seldom comment on threads but, you're honestly doing your brother and your business a great disservice by your continued rejoinder to comments in this thread, and specifically in this manner and attitude. Have your brother take it from here while you do what you do best behind the curtains. It'll work out good seeing as both of your profess hard work, truth and honesty. This is a honest advice. Have a nice evening. |

Surely, you're not oblivious of the charged political weather in Nigeria at the moment. Jonathan this, Buhari that. The question on everyone's mind and lips is, who will win. Now that we have a clear picture of who to expect at the polls, how about we conduct our own Nairaland opinion poll?. Thus: |
congo just scored!! |

i excluded the Audi A8 because it has an all aluminum shell, very difficult to panel beat in the event of a damage. I must confess that i have a thing for the W221 and i am seriously leaning in that direction, I appreciate your contributions and I'm still reading. |
yea, i do. Interesting. |
Now, that breaks my heart. Ok, back to the drawing board. Notice that i'm a V8 fanatic. Any recommendations?. |
The subject line say it all folks. Which of these badboyz will you recommend for a brother to sequester in Nigeria. I am apprehensive about our bad roads and maintenance personnel . Topic is all yours now. Thank you. |
The phaeton is VW's attempt at the top segment of automobile perfection. It is hand built at a dedicated plant in Dresden. yes, it does share some engines with Audi A6, A8, and VW Tuareg, all within the VAG group. I have owned that vehicle. A pleasant interior to be in and a ride quality at par with the best in its class. However, even here (Germany), it is still an exot, an expensive exot. The W12 is basically 2 3litre V6 engines paired together, a magnificient powerplant, pin quiet and refined operation, but my advise to you is, walk away. It will be a money pit in nigeria and you will end up abandoning it in frustration because nigerian auto mechanics will misdiagnose its basic ailments and ruin both the car and yourself financially. While i owned the 4.2 litre V8 copy, i had to take it to phaeton specific service stations. They are not serviced by regular VW service centres because they are not trained or equiped to maintain these vehicles. |
The influential German daily newspaper and sports magazine Sportbild, has named Super Eagles and OSC Lille goal stopper Vincent Enyeama as Europe's number one, ahead of AS Rome's Morgan De Sanctis and Bayern munich's Manuel Neuer. Is it just me or do anyone else feel disturbed by the pletora of unsolicited guerilla advertisements on successful threads these days?. Gentlemen, have some respect for the thread owner. It can't be that difficult to open up your own thread showcasing your wares and expertise. Spyder didn't get this far by hijacking other peoples threads. Please, have a little respect or are you to make us believe that you're not creative enough to show us what you're capable of doing on your own?, how then are we to believe you have the capacity to deliver on your various advertorial claims?. If you are a painter or roofing specialist, open a thread and educate us on what we need to know about your trade. carry us along on your project/s. Spyder started no less. He showed us what is possible, and how. He demystified myths, and the results of that honesty, transparency and expertise is what we're enjoying on here. We are here to learn from him who has gotten his act straight, and trust me, you guys are distracting. Nuf said! |
pictures are not attaching, oh well. |

Good job Oga spyder!. This is from a very silent student. I went shopping for a new kitchen today at ikea, thought i'd bring you what my eyes saw, pictures. I know they will not compensate your fantastic tutorials, but just a token .

femmyb: To all the folks that have driven in Germany, is it true there is no speed limit on the autobahn.I can competently answer your question: There are speed limits on sections of the German Autobahn. However, some of these limits are time and traffic flow dependent. Sometimes, speed limits are imposed as a measure against noise pollution to neighbouring residential communites. Also, kown accident prone spots are speed restricted, and are periodically radar trapped to catch violators. yours truly has lost his drivers license for 60 days and paid 370 Euros in fines. As the Autobahn continues to be reconstructed and modernised, the information system has become electronic and online, so speed limits are mostly imposed or lifted based on the flow of traffic. That said, a lage portion of the Autobahn continue to remain speed restriction free and a blessing to experienced speed warriors such as yours truly. Munich - Hamburg, 795km in 5 hours and 12 minutes (at night) will make you feel like michael schumacher on steroids. Note this, Audi, BMW, Mercedes Benz, Porsche and VW, will not build the vehicles we know them for today if the Autobahn did not exist. |
CFCfan: I would love to have that experience someday.you should my brother. Argueably, Hitler was a mad man, but he got this one right. |
