Some airlines layover in destinations that require pcr testing. I dont think you need to test if you're using a country that doesn't require. I could be wrong tho

Pls why are airlines requesting for pre-departure PCR test from fully vaccinated passengers?
A friend of traveling today just informed me that he had to do the test.
He’s traveling with Turkish airlines and according to him, it’s only BA that doesn’t request for that PCR test .
Pls is there anyone here that has traveled in the past few days with any other airline apart from BA, fully vaccinated and didn’t do pre departure covid PCR test.

You get debited in naira for fx purchased. Some bank do USD first then transfer to third party currency which is GBP.

So if you were debited, it means funds have been purchased.

Hi, I paid my first deposit in december. When i got debited I was glad o not knowing that its a process. Yesterday I recently got my banking app installed and noticed I had two accounts. One for fx and one for naira. The day I got debitted in naira they used it to purchase fx into the fx allocated to my bank. And the fx was only credited to the gbp account eight days later, from which it was now sent to my sch and thats the day I got a telex. So the debit itself in naira is just one step in the process. You need to know the deadline for enrollment and arrival to the Uk. Very vital. But I am guessing if they just have you CaS today they should be flexible with resumption. Also, priority is temporarily suspended

Can i still start and finish the application before enrollment closes (I dont know which day yet) or do you advice i defer the admission. Paid the 4000 to get the CAS 10th of December last year. If you advice i go on, please i would want to plead with someone to indulge me and send me the summary of what to do. It depends on your school. Best to be open with them. I got ten days extra and was told to inform the if there is any delay so they can assist me with extra timing. If your school is cooperative, I dont think theres any problem enrolling. Infact it will help keep you up to date.

I have had this question on my mind, considering the fact that all visa outcomes are based on probabilities and all, is it even advisable to complete the enrolment before you get your visa - plus you’ll have to pay 50% upon enrolment. Will all your money be refunded if your visa was delayed and you didn’t get through the POE? What would happen to the 50% and deposit that has been paid

My course start date is 17th that’s for induction but classes start 24th. I plan on traveling on the 27th because of the timing of me getting my passport back though. My schools last day of enrollment is 4th of February and can extend to 18th of February for students with serious visa issue situations. Hope I won’t have any issues with the immigration when I’m traveling.

IHs is refunded when you cancel or get a refusal. If you dont show up before the 24th your sch may likely defer you to the next intake. Then youd need to make another application with the updated cas they give you. Pls send a paid mail to know if a decision has been made

By your calculation, when does the 15 working days elapse? Your visa may be granted but I don't think youd be granted entry at the border. Your visa fee I doubt will be returned. If you want to use another cas then you most likely need to cancel the current application in which case your ihs will be refunded so long as a decision hasnt been made. I had to go back and check your posts. Seems your biometrics was 20th,going by that your visa may be ready. Did you recently send a paid mail? Maybe you should. My advise is to pack your luggage on standby in faith, ticket money ready to go for when visa drops this week hopefully

Hi all, its no news that resumption and enrollment deadlines are close. So this may help someone. I know that my visa won't be out by my latest enrollment date so I messaged my school and they redirected my concern to my department. My department replied today with an extra grace period allowing me to initially begin online. So to be honest, nairaland wont be able to help you much, direct your concerns to your school, they are humans and will understand. In my case, I complained about the suspension of priority services as the cause of the delay.
