Romance / Female Friend Opens Door While Dressing! by dude99(m): 1:42pm On Feb 16, 2015
Holla at y'all here,am a student, some days ago while i was prepared to dress up in my room because i have just finished bathing,my female friend who is also my housemate bust my door open and i was putting on nothing then,i expected her to go back out immediately but she didn't,instead she came in and picked her phone charger from my room,i was embarrassed by this so i told her that since she has seen my unclothedness,i also must see hers too,she was reluctant to this but i persuaded her and threatened her that i will not let her leave my room unless she let me see her unclad also, later she did it by showing my only her naked B00BS,then after i let her go out of the room.since then she has not been talking to me,she stays opposite my room and she doesn't even sweep my area when sweeping hers.Is what i did wrong and if you were to be me or the female friend, what would you have done in that situation in the room
Agriculture / Re: How Do You Run A Poultry Business Without Running Mad? by dude99(m): 10:16am On Dec 24, 2014
Naijasinglegirl:
The proceeds from poultry business seems high during festive period . That was exactly what my parents taught when they ventured into poultry farming in May. Our vision for the business was to be the No1 supplier of Christmas chickens in our street come December 2014.
We invited a professional poultry farmer over who lectured us intensively on how to manage one successfully including the type of feed at different growth stage, housing conditions, light, medicine etc
Prior to that, we had eight local chickens and one large agric broiler we rear for domestic purposes like crowing, playing ( I have this weird habit of talking to animals) or slaughtering when an unexpected august visitor shows up.
Done with the setup, we kick-started the business with 170 one day old chicks and 12 sacks of feed.
Everything seemed rosy. l was positive the business would boom beyond leaps that I wouldn't have to look for a job anymore.
Three days after, 7 of the chicks died. We assumed it was the collateral damage of transporting fragile 1-day old birds.

Three months later, our losses hit a total of 32 birds. We also noticed they were growing at a very slow pace.
Four months and a little over 110 chicks left, our business hit the breakeven mark. Their size from a distance seemed large but on a closer examination, they weighed light. Technically, they were only adding weight in their feathers so we topped their diet with supplements.
We noticed a improvement in their weight but the mortality rate was still rising progressively.

Most of them died at the slightest provocation. To put it mildly, the birds were getting too emotional for my liking. I couldn't even speak to chickens like I usually do for fear that I might make an offensive joke and they will just withdraw somewhere to commit suicide. Notwithstanding, dying was still their principal hobby.
I would go in to top their feed and before I get done, there would be one casualty. Improper man handling of the birds while changing sawdust and another dead bird would surface. You give them water to drink and one will choke on the water and die.
Every morning, we had to check the poultry house with a shovel in hand cos there was always a damned bird to bury.
Meanwhile, the domestic fowls who ate from the contents of our waste bin, suffered kicks from my siblings and slept on trees were thriving better with zero mortality.

The height of it all was the day the large agric broiler which was the alpha cock died.
It took ill four days before and refused to respond to treatment. We were all having a family time at the backyard when my dad told my kid brother to bring it out so he could inspect it. I will never forget that day!
I was sitting by one corner, sipping lucozade boost with crackers.
Suddenly, the alpha cock started vibrating and making weird sounds. "Its dying. Its dying." My dad screamed. "Naijasinglegirl, bring me that your lucozade boost now!"
Gobsmacked, I rushed over to meet him and he snatched the energy drink from my hand, used his hands to forcefully open its beak and emptied it into the chicken's mouth, drenching it in the process.
The chicken died a few minutes after.
Knowing my parents are hypertensive, the look on my mum's face broke my heart.
We were done with the business.
We released all 81 of them so they could roam freely and survive the way local chickens did.
The whole compound became a mess with chicken poop everywhere. *Sigh*

Surprisingly, the death ratio dropped drastically. However, we had a new challenge which was thieves. Our fence is pretty low and we couldn't tell if it were a dog or a human being that took 7 of the chickens in two nights.
The following day, my mum had to go from restaurant to restaurant looking for who to auction the chickens to.
The restaurant that agreed to buy from us insisted we dress the chickens or they were going to patronise their regular supplier.
Suffice to say, that's how I ended up as a chicken butcher.
I was allotted 15 of the chickens to behead. (My siblings took care of the rest.) A chicken genocide took place in my compound that day. I was so disgusted with all that chicken blood. If I had my way, I would have preferred to strangle them for the shit they put us through.
We eventually sold everything at a loss except for 3 which are going to kill tomorrow in honour of the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Am happy I read this!I love your sense f humour! But you try,me sef dey scared of killing 1 chicken not to talk of you killing 15 chickens. I would have just line them up on the road and kill them with my car.

This happened to me although am a guy, there is this friend of mine,a lady,we are very very close, she knows I love her and I also knows she has feelings for me,I bleeped up shaa because probably unwas a kinda shy guy,am in 300 and she is in 400 level,I think the friend has Ben showing me red lights since, there were times she would tell me to hug her but i would'nt not because u don't want to but i might be sweating then and i don't hug when sweating, there was a time also that she she wanted to kiss my of my cheek and I pull my cheek away cause I was sweating also.I love this lady so much that I cried cause I wasn't able to tell her how I feel, there was this some weeks ago she was in my room and I talked about my feelings for her, and I asked her to date my,she said she can't because she have less than one months to graduate,I know she loves me though!Although have to provided any solution to your question but I just wanna let you know how it is to love someone so much that you can't tell them your feelings about them.I will advise you study the guy well and if you sense that he loves you, look for a time you two will be together and just tell him a kinda story that about your love for him and the lady in love not being able to tell the guy, then ask him what he would have done if he were to be the one.Over and out!

Kachisbarbie: lmao...I don't really woo like can you be my boyfriend...
...but I have walked up to really cute guys and asked for their names/numbers/pins

So...lemme complete the story. There was this guy den in sch, I was in final year - he was in his second yr. Everytime the guy sees me, he will be looking @ me like a mumu. I figured out he fancies me but bc of the class difference he was scared.
I walked up to him one day...mehn...CJ was shy...he kept on looking up/down. He became a very good friend...used to walk me home and take me for lunch. grin...I liked it - I like walking with fine boiz...lol

I forgot to mention the fact that I really liked him...my friends kept telling me that I was falling their hand by associating with a junior -lil did they know I was older than him with just '11 days'.
I had to really friendzone him by my second semester. Some really bad guys in my dept (that were unsuccessful in dating me)started harassing him thinking we were dating - I confronted the ones I could. @ a point I just gave the guy space...I wo?uldn't have forgiven myself if any1 hurt him.
Aisha!you would not understand this but my heart was beating fast while i was reading this,i went to check you profile after reading it cause i tot it was that lady that wrote it.........i swear that was my exact story...every content of it!

Nairaland / General / Re: 5 Real Life Soldiers Who Make Rambo Look Like A Sissy by dude99(m): 12:48am On Aug 29, 2014
LarrySun: #4. Yogendra Singh Yadav (Images 1 and 2)

Who Was He?

Yogendra Singh Yadav was a member of an Indian grenadier battalion during a conflict with Pakistan in 1999. Their mission was to climb "Tiger Hill" (actually a big-*ss mountain), and neutralize the three enemy bunkers at the top.

Unfortunately, this meant climbing up a sheer hundred-foot cliff-face of solid
ice. Since they didn't want to all climb up one at a time with ice-axes, they
decided they'd send one guy up, and he'd fasten the ropes to the cliff as he
went, so everyone else could climb up the sissy way. Yadav, being awesome,
volunteered.

Half way up the icy cliff-o'-doom, enemies stationed on an adjacent mountain opened fire, shooting them with an RPG, then spraying assault-rifle fire all over the cliff. Half his squad was killed, including the commander, and the rest were scattered and disorganized. Yadav, in spite of being shot three times, kept climbing.

When he reached the top, one of the target bunkers opened fire on him with
machine guns. Yadav ran toward the hail of bullets, pitched a grenade in the
window and killed everyone inside. By this point the second bunker had a
clear shot and opened fire, so he ran at them, taking bullets while he did, and
killed the four heavily-armed men inside with his bare hands.
Meanwhile, the remainder of his squad was standing at the top of the cliff
staring at him saying, "dude, holy shit!" They then all went and took the third
bunker with little trouble.

For his gallantry and sheer ballsiness, he was awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India's highest military award. Unlike the Medal of Honor, the Param Vir Chakra is only given for "rarest of the rare gallantry which is beyond the call of duty and which in normal life is considered impossible to do." That's right, you actually have to break the laws of reality just to be eligible.

And we imagine the medal (Image 3) looks like two, brass testicles.
It has only been awarded 21 times, and two thirds of the people who earned it died in the process. It was initially reported that Yadav had as well, but it turns out that they just mistook him for someone less badass. Or they just figured no real human being could survive a broken leg, shattered arm and 10-15 fresh bullet holes in one sitting.
I liked your words especially on this man, gave you watched and Indian movie called LOC KARGIL?
