In my 100l and 200l days, it was "ask and you shall receive" (Those were the good days of President Jonathan).

In 300l it became 5k per month. As at that time, I began to despise the idea of asking my parents for 5k allowance. So I won't ask until they send. And if they don't, I would suffer it. No wahala.

After my IT, (currently in 500l), I have been living like a graduate, I don't call my parents for anything, I paid my rents, and footing the bill for my final year project. I must say that it feels really good to have this sense of independence. I haven't been home since I left in February, and my parents would often call to ask why I am not asking for money...

During those conversation, I would be tempted to say "Mummy, I currently earn more than you on monthly basis" (she works in Osun and when they're lucky, they get paid half of their salary, which is about 75k or there about)... And with God blessings, I currently make about 60k per month, passively.


Moral: Develop a sense of independence as soon as you can, and stop asking your parents for allowance. They can only do so much in this bad economy.

it depends on ur area op,have u done a survey testing the speed of all networks in your area, if no, then try it.

in mine,airtel and glo are fastest,glo and mtn are just ok,the cheapest network is glo followed by airtel, etisalat is most expensive.



but all the same glo for life.

I have an accent that has been discouraging me to the extent that i'm too shy to speak in the public.

For instance,"light and night" sound alike to me, I mean i can't differentiate them perfectly, but whenever I converse with my friends or put those aforementioned words in sentences, they (my friends) do not correct me...But I always doubt if I had pronounced them correctly.

Other words I have problem in differentiating are: snap/slap, lame/name. Though no one has corrected me on these.

So the main issue here is "IS THERE MUCH DIFFERENCE IN THEIR SOUNDS?

I drafted a love letter when I was in sec school, I sent my friend to help me to tell a SSS1 gurl I had crush on to meet me at the entrance to the toilet. I was in SSS2.

She came, I talked and gave her the letter. Unknowing to me, one of our teachers was in the toilet eavesdropping to our conversation. He just came out, before I could run, he called my name cos he knew me. He collected the letter from her.

The following morning, I feigned being ill but mum wouldn't allowed me to stay at home. She insisted I must go to school.
On the assembly ground after the national anthem, the teacher mounted the pulpit and called the girl and I out. He told the girl to read the letter and she did. He beat me and told me to bring my parents.

It was so embarrassing!

You are not the only one. I love being alone..I read,browse and watch movies. Don't really feel comfortable around people I don't know. If I manage to like hang out with ppl,I don't talk...I just listen(gives me a chance to study them). Most people think I'm proud but I'm not. I JUST LOVE BEING ALONE
