Yes it implies Canadian work experience. The next question after that is the one you should answer:
ii. In the last 10 years, how many total years of skilled work experience do you have?
This one.
uote author=Thebushboy1 post=63352874]Hello Friends!
I forgot to add this question to my previous post
i. In the last ten years, how many years of skilled work experience in Canada do you have?
Does the above question imply Canadian work experience or the experience you have in your country as I have not seen where to enter the experience I have from my country
|

Use this one:lbr.iqas@gov.ab.ca Kenon1: Yes, her certificate and identification accompanied the IQAS application. I sent an email to them today through this email address: immigration.info@gov.ab.ca Please which email address did use in contacting them? |

Did her certificate and identification accompany the application? If it did then Its definitely time to send them an email. My application and certificate took them 3weeks to acknowledge. Transcript took 5weeks to acknowledge (after I prompted them). 4weeks after acknowledgement I prompted them again and got soft copy of my eca days later. And hard copy a week after. Kenon1: Congrats. Please share your IQAS assessment timeline. Thanks. My wife submitted her application on 30/10/17 and her transcript was received by IQAS on 15/11/17. She has not received any acknowlegdement email from IQAS. Is this normal? |

Finished from Lautech too.. MBA -2012.. luckily I had an old transcript dated 2014.. so I just sent that to IQAS... rather I got someone from ogbomosho to send it on my behalf. Guitarlife: Madammd I got my transcript from LAUTECH a while back. You need to send some1 to the registrars office and pally either the secretary of any of them.
500naira credit will work wonders. Its nice to meet sm1 who finished from Lautech. |

Send them a mail telling them it’s been 4weeks since the courier delivered. They’ll acknowledge immediately. Mine took 5weeks, had to send them a mail. Then 4weeks later I sent another mail asking about the status of my assessment and they responded 24hrs later saying it’s in it’s final stage. I got the soft copy some days later and the hard copy a week later. Two days back to be precise. Total time-12 weeks. So if you are are uncomfortable, disturb them. Saintp: Today makes it a month since IQAS received my transcript but no acknowledgement mail from them yet. I'm getting worried. What can I do at this point? |

Newmum0615: Methinks you are better off with 1254. See the lead statement: Statistical officers and related research support occupations in this unit group provide statistical and research support services to a wide range of businesses and organizations. These workers conduct statistical routines, monitor trends, compile data and prepare charts, graphs, summaries and reports in support of organizational information needs and research activities. I think your confusion stems from the fact that you collate data for educational programs. I may be wrong though. Ok ma’m. Thank u very much. Still very open to other suggestions |

Good morning all, please can you guys help with choosing an NOC. I am torn between noc 4166 and noc 1254. Below are my duties on my reference letter: 1. She carries out research based on several projects at the commission and summarizes research methodology. 2. She does statistical analysis of these data, and presents same in numerical and graphical format. 3. She is part of a team that develops tools for data collection and analysis. i.e conducting interviews, surveys, questionnaires and quantitative data analysis. 4. She writes and edits questionnaires, collects and analyzes data through surveys from non-formal education programs carried out by the commission. 5. She is responsible for collecting, compiling and processing researched data and statistics relating to adult and non-formal education methods, for the purpose of publishing in the commission’s reports. 6. Monitoring officers on inter-agency and states mass education programs of non-formal education activities. 7. She develops and analyses policy guidelines for the commission. 8. She maintains data bank on adult and non-formal education.
Sorry for the long post. Thank you all in anticipation of your help. |

Hi @Justiyke4u, please how many working days after the second mail acknowledgement did you call to ascertain your status of the assessment? Let me know when to start calling too.. Justiyke4u: mine was that I called them to ascertain the status of my assessment they told me it has been completed and in the mailing section but she does not know how long that will take. Few minutes or hours after the call I received the soft copy of the assessment report |

Saintp: It took 3weeks to acknowledge my certificate n identification.. another 5weeks to acknowledge transcript(which I had to prompt). It’s been 2weeks since then.. I am hopeful mine will come out before their 9weeks just like @emmasonic4me has said.
Na waa ooo. So if it takes 3 weeks for them to send the acknowledgement of the transcript receipt, the processing time will now be 12 weeks ((9+3)? This is not encouraging at all. |
Back to more important things.
I received the golden mail this morning. It is PPR people! God has just been so faithful. Wrote to them yesterday evening Nigerian time and they responded that it was in Ottawa and hasn't been finalized yet. Only to wake up to the golden mail this morning. Don't know if they work over night in the Ottawa office.
19days from AOR to PPR. It can only be God. I put the barest minimum I could put (apart from the bank reference letters). Didn't provide a single bank statement. Didn't include payslips and appointment letters. Had plenty travel history for both my husband and I. I had nearly all my funds in my husband's account. God just covered over any mistakes as none were intentional.
ITA = 9th Aug AOR=11th sept. MEDP= 21st sept. IP1 = 22nd sept. NA2 = 27th Sept IP2 = 29th sept. PPR = 30th sept.
Congratulations! I tap into this speed.In Jesus name.Amen! |

Yay welcome part 2! I promise not to be a silent reader on this thread, and to help were I can, just as our seniors have helped me this far. So help me God. still at ECA stage, ielts done-LRWS-9,9,8.5,8.
Your best advice for an intending test taker? I fancy your score because i am gunning for LRSW 8.5,8,7.5,7.5 by God's grace! Hey atigro, practice is the key word.. practice Listening like your life depends on it.. make sure you do practice tests every day. Under the same exam conditions. No pausing the video or playing back.. you won't get better like that. For reading , learn the tips for answering the different types of questions, you don't need to read the whole passage to answer a particular question, the key is to look for keywords in the question and then scan through the passage looking for a synonym of that keyword, it almost always never comes exactly as it is in the question,it's always a synonym, when you find it read the area well and choose your answer. Another trick I used for reading was to read just the first sentence of each paragraph. The topic of a paragraph is most times in the first sentence, if you want to be doubly sure, read the last two sentences of the paragraph in addition. For writing like I stated above I used E2language tutor -Jay on YouTube.he makes you write along with him as he teaches. I also learnt vocabulary for different kinds of topics.. for instance a topic on crime & punishment, you need words like: parole, bail, inmate etc to include in your essay. For speaking: that one was divine intervention, from the beginning of the interview to d end , I was nervous, shaking, smiling like a clown and stammering. I dunno how I got 8. I sha familiarized myself with the process of the test, I mean what to expect at different points, in part 1,2,and 3. I hope I was able to help. |

Hephgirl: Oya start with ielts tips For listening I did 2-3 practice tests every single day . You can find them on YouTube -READINGIELTS.COM & OFFICIAL IELTS PRACTICE- they two channels post new practice tests everyday. Reading- got tips from YouTube too->E2 Language is the name of the channel, the tutor is Jay.. has really good tips for reading and also writing, he shows you step by step how to write letters and the different types of essays. I didn't do too many practices for reading , I just learnt the tips n tricks of scanning&skimming a passage and also how to answer T/F/NG questions Writing and Speaking- got tips from ielts Liz. Might I also add, my first degree is in English Language, dunno if that helped. |

Please I need to confirm the document collected from hospital after medicals. I just did mine at Abuja clinics and was given an emedical exam sheet showing picture and passport details. My EE profile number was not included. Is that okay? I need urgent responses pls as I had to travel to do it and don't want to leave without complete/correct form.
Secondly, the page to upload docs post ITA has not come up on my profile. I'm guessing I have to complete all forms first. Is this correct pls?
Thanks Hi, please how much did medicals cost you? |
