okeyz:
hi guys

sorry for piping in, is it possible to trade forex using ones phone, maybe iphone or android, if true can you guys recommend any thanks
Yes, you can use any phone that has Android (Samsung), Windows mobile (HTC), IOS or even a BB as long as your broker support anyone of them. But there are limitations:

1. The screen won't be wide enough to do proper analysis.
2. You cannot use custom indicators on them.
3. You cannot use EAs
4. Because you will be mobile, there would be room for improper analysis and wrong judgment.

You can use it to monitor your trades, but I will advise you use a laptop or a tab to trade.

Happy pipping.

Hi Everyone,

Talking about MM, I would like to get your opinions on the use of lot sizes with reference to the account balances below. I know it might vary from trader to trader depending on each person's trading strategy, but i just want to get your views for all excluding scalping.

So, what lot size would you use:

$
1,000 0.1
2,000 0.2
10,000 1.0
20,000 2.0
50,000 5.0
100,000 10 etc
I would still like to get you guys' opinion on the above.

@ Final Say

I have seen all kinds of chart formations, but yours I must say is amazing. How do you manage to coordinate all those indicators without getting confused at times. A Look at them, it seems some gave the same analysis.

Its always good to keep it simple, but if its working for you, its your call.

Hoping they would make Africans proud after the mediocre performance of other African teams.
BusinessRe: Should I Get A Canadian Visa For 600k Or Invest 1.5m In Nigeria? by Dungren(m): 10:59pm On Jun 17, 2010
I have a friend who is in a similar situation. He has the visa already but skeptical about going because he has a good job over here. If goes he might not earn that much over there for at least the next 3 years.

You need to do a good research on this yourself. Its not just about getting the visa and moving to Canada. What exactly are you going there to do? (Heaven will not fall on your laps just by going to Canada). What are your plans for the future? Have you explored all the opportunities available to you here? Because we have foreigners trooping into this country daily to do business. Do you have something to offer over there that would make you relevant?, if not, you will end up joining the band wagon over there.

Ask yourself these questions and am sure you will find answers that will lead you in the right direction. Good luck.

@poster sef: hw well can u speak your own mother tongue, without phonetics?     lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

@seswan: which part of ijebu r u from?
Thank God I had a good Yoruba teacher back in secondary school. I can speak, read and write in Yoruba. I wish I could have learned additional local language though.

marabout:
Then spare a thought for those raising kids in diaspora if kids growing up at home cannot speak mother tongue.

It is a big challenge trying to teach kids native tongue.  Back in the day, we were given strokes of the cane for daring to speak VANERCULAR at school. That's how efficient oyinbo brainwashing was even after on-paper-independence.

Ordinarily noisy boys would suddenly become as quite as deaf and dumb because they couldn't muster a lot in English!!
I am always perplexed when you call home, kids pick phone, you are talking to them in native tongue and they r replying in English. Terrible.

Somebody once mentioned here on NL that if you cannot do science & technology in your native tongue, a country can hardly succeed in technology.

Does any know what LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY is called in their mother tongue?
I bet no one here can translate that in a local language.

Countries like Germany, Russia, Japan, China, France etc are able to compete with U.S, U.K because with their local languages, there is in-depth understanding of what is being taught from generation to generation. But in Nigeria, with over 400 languages! May God help us.

to the future
I think we are heading to another man's future, where we can never be fully accepted.

The musicians have been there and that's why they are heading back home by including local dialects/slangs in their songs.
CultureHow Well Can You Speak Your Mother Tongue? by Dungren(op): 9:25am On Jun 08, 2010
I am amazed by the number of teenagers (even up to mid twenties) that cannot speak their mother tongue fluently. What would happen to their own children and the generation after them? huh

There would be a total loss of our cultural heritage if parents do not make it a point of duty to teach their children how to speak fluently in their mother tongue.

Some would tell you that its not Behind to speak in any other language apart from English. Haba! where are we heading?

Jahnnelly has a knack for avoiding questions directed at him. Tell us why you have not deployed your account-multiplier in a live account. If you like, make millions in demo trading, it does amount to anything. Anyway, I know some robot marketers who don't even have a demo account!

Newbies, beware.
You are very right Kashif.

What exactly do you intend to gain from the marketing of this EA?

If its that good, you wont be here looking for people to meet with you. You will be busy making money.
You wont be the only one setting up topics on the EA, like in the link below:

Where is the website of the original owner(s)?

Just curious. huh

PoliticsRe: Goodluck Ebele Jonathan For President! (Vote Now) by Dungren(m): 8:40pm On Apr 14, 2010
I wonder why some Nigerians have such a short memory to the extent of considering IBB for president.

It is because of such people that Nigeria is still where it is today. When nations of the world are looking for vibrant people to lead them, we are here considering someone of the PAST.

Nigerians!!!, please wake up, we are in the 21st century. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

But I would rather go for the Blackberry Storm being a touchscreen. For the Bold, the buttons are just too tiny to handle.
PoliticsRe: Lagos Rated ‘fifth Worst City’ by Dungren(m): 8:21pm On Feb 13, 2010
I don't know why Nigerians bother their heads when some foreigner say something about Nigeria or any part of the country. These guys don't even give a damn what you think about theirs, whether Good or Bad.

We don't need an outsider to tell us the situation of our country. We know what the problems are. If you don't like it, then do something to change it. If you can't, then leave it and stop complaining.

For Lagos to be the only city in Nigeria to be mentioned and compared with other advanced cities of the world, then Lagos is in the right direction.
