I had such pains too a few weeks ago. ..got tested and it was malaria 1 plus. Was treated for it with lonart and equally giving calcium tablets .
Please see your doctor to rule out the above

Please able mamas in the house, I just want to know if it's normal to have body / joint pains at 34 weeks+. I've been managing the pains since yesterday but it seems to be getting worse. My fingers feel weak, I was given immunisation injection on my arm yesterday but I don't know if I can attribute the pain to that or it's just coincidental. I already took panadol to ease the pain. Should I be worried or wait it out?

It took me a full year before I conceived.

I just stopped the 2 month family planning injection.

I collected the last dose on the 4th of august and was told to come for another one on the 30th of September but did not go.

I want to know how long it has took some mamas here to conceive after stopping the injection.

@ Jazzyjazz welcome to the season of disco abi soul train dancing. The baby is just excited to be in mummy's tummy. And trying to get more comfortable. Though at times the stretching can be painful. I noticed if I eat something that I like my lo responds. Loud noise too makes lo stretch. Maybe your dh's voice is the calming factor. But expect more of these in the coming weeks

Paracetamol is the safest painkiller to use in pregnancy. Sorry about the cold. Try steaming inhalation and take lots of water.

Don't worry I'm told it's safe. But as we are always told, we should take everything in moderation
I usually buy 200 naira tigernuts and I finish it in 2days. Then I wait a week or two before I buy again. That way, I know I'm not overdoing it. I discovered it helps me a lot especially when saliva begins to gather in my mouth

I thought it was film trick. Even accused my dh of eating out of it while I wasn't watching. The man was like. "Madam quickly deliver this baby so I can have peace".
Will try to be moderate next time. Won't eat it again till upper weekend. Thanks dear

I got the fresh ones o. Dry ones are too hard. Ate it while watching a movie. Didn't get constipated.
But I solemnly swear to eat in moderation henceforth. Maybe I will use Jazzyjazz style. ....every other week

My sister I was about to run to the hospital when I noticed the reduced appetite but decided to Google it first and discovered it's part of 3rd trimester issues. 

Fruits have been bae mehn! Tangerines, grapes, apples, ripe paw paw, cashew nuts, tiger nuts. That's how I've been keeping my mouth busy

I was going to ask if tiger nuts are safe at this stage. Never craved them until this pregnancy. Now I bought a bucket and ate half in a sitting. Then my head reset to factory setting and I have been wondering if it's safe

 Only problem now is that my appetite has reduced drastically. Though I still manage to force myself to eat everyday. But I consume a lot of fruits now than I used to so I guess we are still in order. 

No worry, plenty food de for lo. My bweast is more than enough for the young man. Lol

I thought I was the only one with reduced appetite. Guess it is one of 3rd trimester package. Basically force myself to eat now. After a few spoons I am filled. Fruits are my bae now!

Mummy Zaynie has been preachin a teaspoon of palm oil and a cube of st luios suga for cough.
Buh dunno if she can take it at 6weeks.
But then again why not if has been taking drugs.

She is too young for this method. Palm oils, sugars, honey and co are not recommended for children below 1 year

If you have a nasal aspirator. Try to drain out the mucus from her nose. That's what's making her cough. If you don't have one you may use your mouth to suck it out. If symptoms persists please see her paediatrician

His reason... 60% of people recommended for CS do give birth naturally,40% recommended for VD do CS.... so why waste time n money doing it.

Buh wat they do is check of your pelvic is wide enough to allow baby pass...
You will just be naked n snapped under one machine like dat.... finish.

I totally agree with you and your doctor on this. I did my first pelvimetry scan in 2011 at a cost of 10k. Gave birth via vd and dh was slightly upset that he wasted money cos he was like whether Cs or vd the baby must come out while I was insisting on doing the scan. I can imagine what the scan would cost now in this buhari economy

I'm equally surprised at the bump. Evidence of baby number 3. When I announced we were expecting to my dh, he was anxious to see the bump. Now bump has surfaced the man is scared that it's getting too big. .keeps asking if my tummy will go flat after this one

@sixx lovely cute bump. We're 27weeks and 5days today. I feel like I am older than that. Tiredness is the newest thing now. I literally just pass over some activities. Meanwhile LO is still in the cephalic position and we got to do a 4D scan over the weekend. The pictures taken are really worth the waddling I am going through. We weigh 1.2kg too. Pls mama's o my incision site (4 appendicits) neva knew I was like 4wks gone during the surgery, now the site is peppering me, xpecially wen sometin touches it, pls wat can I do about it, it's 6mnt old.. no touch n go o, make una chuK mouth o..

I also have an incision site from a laparotomy done a year ago. If my clothes rubbed on it it smarts. Doctor said it's normal and nothing to worry about .just the skin around the area being pulled/stretched. You can get an opinion from your gynae to ease your mind.

When I was like 4 month pregnant one of my neighborhs we have been avoiding because of her hipocracy came to my house dt she came to congratulate me about my pregnancy i was so shocked because have never heard being congratulated about preg in my life she even had d gut to tell me dt i didnt inform her dt i was preg i replied immediately dt in our own culture we dont announce pregnancy. Abeg igbo's is it ur culture to congratulate someone pregnant or am i d one taking d issue too personal thanks. She was even asking me dt d preg will be 4 month, and d preg was exactly 4 month. My SIL prescribed a mixture for me she z it prevents rashes etc on babies, I just did it today dunno if you're interested u can try it. It's a mixture of shear butter, tetracycline (red and yellow) and Skineal.

Please ma don't use this mixture for more than 5days and give a wide interval between each usage. Skineal is a steroid and prolong usage can affect the skin
