1. Babies are like computers. ...what you put in them is what you get out as poop . garbage in garbage out. If you have been eating veggies and you bf exclusive the end result is greenish. I once ate lots of carrots and my lo passed this orangish poo
Note that babies on exclusive can go for days without a bowel movement

2 . you are obviously stressed that is why the bp is high. Check out the indications of the drug on drugs . com and confirm it's safe to use while bfing. I can only suggest you take a break when yourbaby is sleeping. Don't try being a superwoman. If you can get a help too fine. Even those who will be going and coming

3. Lochia return could be cos of the bp+stress or could actually be aunty flow. See your doc if you are still worried about it

4. Ori is good for loosening boils also you can use a hot compress..dry heat of cos

Our immunisation went well, though Jay was really cranky, refused food, and vomited...

But I've come with another one today again... Please don't read and pass...

1...Jay pooed only once yesterday, and most of it (like 90%) was dark green in color... It wasn't watery or slimy, but I'm really worried about the color, as I've never seen it before... Please, is there any cause for alarm?

2...I also had my 6 week check up yesterday, and my blood pressure was 140/100, and I had this terrible headache on just one side of my head for two days...
I was given "adomet", to be taken thrice daily, for 7 days. I've never heard of this drug, so I dunno if it's safe to take it, or to even take it for that long (I know bp drugs are to be taken with care)...
My mum left last week, so it's just dh and I alone with the baby, he doesn't really come home early from work, and that leaves me doing most of the work during the day, which I guess led to the rise in my blood pressure (although he really helps with the baby at night)...

3...Lochia didn't stop at all since I had my baby, but it changed color from bright red to pink, to brown, light brown, and cream and all of a sudden, yesterday evening, it became red again, up till now... (the flow is scanty)...
Please, is this still lochia, or has my period resumed...?

4...What natural remedy can I use for boils? I have one big one on my left eye and it's really painful. I applied shea butter this morning (trial and error things... Lol). This is the second boil on the same eye in less than two weeks...

Please help a worried first timer...

Went straight to the service person with my big bump to ask for rice. The woman looked me up and down. ...I obviously didn't belong in the setting; wasn't dressed up. She gave me the jollof o and I gleefully ate it .Dh was so embarrassed that day

In my culture (yoruba) you are not allowed out for events until 41days after delivery . Other tribes have their beliefs but 2 weeks is too early to be away from your baby o and is your body fully recovered?

Leave out the semo from her diet it's still a bit heavy for her. Change it to amala. Also give more water at regular intervals. Starting with water first thing in the morning. You will get Prunes in shoprite. Just juice it and sieve it.

Where can I get prune juice? My 7months ol d baby is constipated cos her poo is very hard most times in pellets form, she poos like once in 3days or none self. I am feeding her with cerelac, nutribom, pap, potatoes, semo with ewedu, beans. I do give her orange juice almost everyday, also water melon too. I use my boy eldorin as her formula but intend to change to Nan 2 may be it will stop her constipation. I give her water from time to time

I read on Google that prune juice helps to relieve constipation, please

I had a trans at 6weeks and it was not painful. ...just a bit uncomfortable but 2days later I began to spot and was placed on bedrest. Googled it and saw lots of complaints on spotting after TVS. Obviously the rod inserted into the vj causes some sort of bruising around the area especially if the sonographer is looking for something and just digging around. The scan is just more sensitive than the usual type

So I Had my first antenatal today. It was so great! Went so well! Asides from being exhausted and hungry from spending long hours at the hospital, today was a very good day!

Dr ordered for a scan, lo was just bouncing upandan! Moving tiny legs, opening and closing mouth! And then waved at me. I almost cried oo!

Finally oga sonographer said, "congrats madam, e be like say na oga get this one"

So I'm officially team BLUE!!!

Thought I was exactly 15weeks today but scan says I'm 15weeks and 6days! Wow!

Dem hammer me plenty folic acid plus fesolate drugs and also tetanus injection.
Doctor booked me for another appointment in 6weeks and the nurse booked me for another tetanus injection in 4weeks!

EDD changed from 18th January to 7th January 2017

I'm not sure you should agree to the induction. The process is thoroughly stressful on both mother and baby. Cs is for when you are looking for a means to bring forth your child with minimal strain on the baby. Have no fear....the scar of love is proudly worn by several mamas on this forum. It doesn't make us less of a woman than those who birthed via vs. The main thing is mother alive, baby alive and well

To be on the safe side it would be best you see a specialist on this and also condition your mind for an elective cs by 38 weeks. It is well with you

I went for a doctors appointment today after checking the baby he sid everything was OK.But I remember he sent for thyroid test the last time I came so I asked him dat was wen he remembered and checked.He said my thyroid level is to high for a pregnant woman and I have to repeat the test and den see a specialist if it's still as high as now or more.But my worry is that he knew I had a still born with an unknown cause in 2014 and 2 other misscarrage which wen I read abt thyroid disease on the Internet can b a cause of all the miscarriages and still born.so y did he not take the test seriously. Pls am so scared and depressed now I dnt know wat to do. Mamas i don come again o, after a long silence, i know, meeeehhhn ds business is not easy o. Mamas will recall wen i was begging 4 ms, but now i knw beta...not severe o but d little sef no gud 4 my bodi ataalll. I gag wen i brush, tke drugs, drink water or even type on ds phone, threw up a couple of times too. Sha dese days i feel better and 2day is day 2 of my 12th week, yeeepee, i feel human again!
@convenantbabies i feel u on d issue of too much drug prescriptions. i will say moderation is key dear, try endure or substitute some treatments with natural therapies. Its all part of the package, i hv dropped alot of unnecessary drugs because evn the thought of taking dem makes me puke, seriously! N i even changed my prenatal vitamins to syrup (how cul is dat? ).

Not compulsory. I dressed my girl in baby pink and my boy was in blues. Even the shawl was yellow/cream.....not whites at all. I fear colour white see. Who will wash it for me?

The last time after delivery I bled for just 4days, it stopped for like a week then lochia came back for another week before it finally dwindled away. It was completely different from my 1st delivery where I saw this thing for almost a month changed from red to brown to yellow
