Romance / Re: How To Calculate Your New Salary If The New Minimum Wage Is Approved. by durasome(m): 9:44pm On Jun 12
saintbillion:
In reference to a post made earlier by another member in this forum on how to determine new salary if there's a change in the minimum wage.
I too was looking for the answer, but trust my fellow nairalanders, with the sarcastic responses, the thread ended up been derailed grin grin
Well to cut the long story short, Here is actualy what you were actually looking for.. High five for you for this information.

To calculate your new salary based on the new minimum wage, you can use the proportion method.

First, calculate the proportion of the new minimum wage to the old minimum wage:

Proportion = New Minimum Wage / Old Minimum Wage
Proportion = 62,000 / 30,000
Proportion ≈ 2.067

Next, multiply your current salary by this proportion to find your new salary:

New Salary = Current Salary × Proportion
New Salary = 60,000 × 2.067
New Salary ≈ 124,020

So, your new salary would be approximately 124,020.

Chinwe Splendor, a recent podcast guest, has been ordered to return her certificate by her alma mater within 48 hours. The university took swift action in response to her remarks on academic success and personal relationships, which were deemed inappropriate and contradictory to its values.

During the podcast, Chinwe Splendor claimed to have rarely attended lectures yet graduated with good grades, attributing her success to using her "body" to get what she wanted. shocked She also made controversial claims about her relationships with top real estate executives.

I agree, but this kind of forum is not where you learn such knowledge. Nairaland is full of all manners of people who are actually nothing offline. Both adults and minors that are not supposed to be using android phones are all here as well as disciplined and immoral people. Imagine somebody like slawomir who is proud to be a yahoo boy and drug addict lecturing you on how you should make money or save money, what kind of advice do you expect from such person?
.i understand your point, but out of a million of nonsense advices ,there could be just one sense.

*Modified*
Relocate to a place closer to your work place. Assuming you go to work 5 times in a week. In about 24 working days, you would have spent 850*5 = #20,400.
Your salary minus YOUR TP is about 54,600 naira.

Rich people ONLY SPEND what's left after THEY HAVE SAVED.

If you save up to 300k to 400k naira, just buy a small land and see it appreciate in value. I drop my pen here
.it depends on where he stays whether he can get a land for anything close to that amount you mentioned.

I dislike these kind of questions. Things like this is supposed to be strictly a personal decision. You are the one that knows what you are aiming at financially and what expenses you incurred regularly. I believe you are older than 18 years so you are an adult, no more a minor. You work for your money so set your own financial goal by yourself.
.no one is an island of knowledge, the little advice he may get here can help him and others reading this better prepared, especially from people who have been in similar situation.
