Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo on Thursday surprised a young entrepreneur, by sending his aides to meet the man after he had offered to make shoes for him, IgbereTV reports.

The entrepreneur known on Twitter as OJBEST Footwear had made a shoe for Osinbajo and asked for a chance to be his personal shoe maker in a bid to boost his brand and expand his reach.

OJBEST Footwear’s first tweet was made on November 9, 2020, where he urged people on the platform to help him promote his tweet so that the Vice President would see it.

Romance / Re: How To Startup a P.O.S Business that will make you Money every single day! by durasome(m): 11:11am On Nov 26, 2020
webmaster99:
Good day to you all,
one of the benefits of starting up a P.O.S business is the everyday patronage of various custormers that are eager to withdraw cash for their daily uses.

starting up a P.O.S business can be very profitable if you stay close to any busy locations like markets and other busy streets and major roads,

even if your location is closer to a bank its still possible one of this days their ATM machine can experience fault or un-able to dispense cash and you can really cashout big from this.

Look around you and see this new trend of quick money withdrawals and transfers,

its a business that will constantly keep on making you money as soon as people starts noticing you offer P.O.S services there.

This kind of business is new and not yet over crowded and thats why you need to rush in and open one today to start seeing the gains involved in it and smile to the bank on a daily basis.

Some P.O.S stands i know do make nothing less than #20,000 pure profits on a daily basis and some even in a much busier area makes 40-50k a day.

Its something that people are yet to know fully about and tap from this great oportunity that has just hit the nigerian market and institutes.

Let me tell you a little about how i got to know all this.

During the covid-19 lockdown imposed on us all.

It was a stage where we all encounted sudden sufferings and hardship making life unbearable for all to live by.

All business where shut down for good,
banks where closed down and their ATM stands where totally off.

It was a night mere for people and you know we all needed cash to survive on a daily basis.

Then came P.O.S on the rescue!

All trasactions and withdrawals where all done by P.O.S shops.

They had custormers que in lines waiting for their turns just to withdraw and have access to their money since banks are no longer working and out of service to dispense cash.

People where wondering how the situation would be then but by the special grace of GOD we all survived through P.O.S withdrawal services that made it even easier for us.

I will proudly tell you all that during those times of covid-19 lockdown the only business that made gains and still continue to operate where P.O.S shops.

It amazes you right?

they just kept on making all the gains why we all keep rushing to make withdrawals just to have money in our possession because it seems to us that this world would have been coming to an end soon.

It was all smiles for P.O.S agents and their partners offering us the services.

I would tell you guys that only me alone went to P.O.S shops nothing less than 25 times during that heavy lockdown.

It was a disaster to me because i can hardly stay a day or two without having some cash in my hands.

Mind you the more i kept withdrawing and making some transactions the more they kept benefiting from me one way or the other.

Because there was strictly no other way to access cash except using P.O.S then,

people had no choice but to accept the various charges been imposed by those P.O.S agents,

it was a saving grace to us all and no one will come out to say he never made use of P.O.S then.

Even up till now we are still even making use of it by various forms.

Some times our banks may have some serious network issues warranting us to go make use of P.O.S

its a form of transaction that can never be negleted in this period of a time.

Now guess what?

I have researched more on this P.O.S business and have found out that its a business that sells on its own.

Just imagine the millions of people that made use of P.O.S during the lockdown and calculate the gains and profits they must have made.

This kind of business is a cool way to make money on a daily basis even on sundays.

All you need is just to open shop and bring out your banners advertising you offer P.O.S services there and BOOM custormers are trooping in to ask for withdrawals and other transactions in by which you charge them for it.

Some P.O.S charges can even go up to #500 per withdrawal depending on the amount involved.

Some are less and some amount even more!

One thing i love about this business is that you can even open one and employ someone there to help you manage the place.

Or better still you do it yourself,

its a cool business in the sense that it will surely give you money on a daily basis and also giving you time to do all other things without stress.

Some P.O.S shops are even decorated with fans and televisions that you will even feel at home while the transactions goes on.

Its fun going to the P.O.S to make withdrawals nowadays.

lol,

but the truth is that you too can even open one if you know how to go about it,

this book will show you all you really need to know from getting the machine to renting a shop and also to start the transactions,

its a book for those that needs a side hustle or maybe you want to finally go into it on a full scale.

Its your choice,
this kind of business can really be done by anyone and its a surefire way to generate a guaranteed daily income,

even without the use of generators or NEPA light.

you can still get this business to run!

do startup this business for it pays on a daily basis!

do call or text me on

you can get this for #1000
thanks!

Gowon was removed from power in a coup while he was in Uganda. What time did he have to loot half of the central bank and come to London after his coup? Why didnt the government of Muritala request the funds transferred to London. There is no way that money that huge will leave the shores of Nigeria and not be noticed by the succeeding government. Also, he came back to Nigeria and nothing was done about it.
I am not defending nobody. This UK parliament man was probably a child when this thing happened. We need strong proof to verify this actually happened. Verbal assertions is not enough. We were sure of what Obasanjo did. We had proof of what Abacha did. So let the proofs come out.

Effected keh? Such orders are effected right inside the court there. His security would drive away without him as court security takes over. If he's not in Kuje now, he should be on his way. Once the pronouncement is made not even the CJ can reverse it at that point. If Ndume's sleeps in his house today, it will amount to ojoro.

Very painful indeed. I hope he did not allow himself to be used by the crooked and deceptive Maina. Everyone avoided Maina and Ndume graciously risked his name.

The same fate could have befallen Abaribe in the matter of Kalu Orji. Abaribe ended up losing his N100m to the court.
.well it will be welcomed if he sleeps in prison so next time he won't have to side with a criminal.

Drama at University of Ibadan as non-academic staff celebrate exit of Bursa

There was a mild drama at the University of Ibadan as members of the non-academic staff celebrated the exit of the institution's bursary, Michael Alatise.

A video posted by Galaxy TV on Friday November 20, shows the union leaders and members in front of the Bursar's office with brooms, bells, other items, singing and chanting various slogans.

It was gathered that after the celebration, they swept the former Bursar's office with brooms.

Accorsing to a journalist, Kunle Ojo, who witnessed the incident, members of SSANU and NASU described the tenure of the bursar as unpleasant adding that he made the institution inconducive for the non-academic unions.

The chairman of Saanu, University of Ibadan, Wale Akinremi said the bursar, a former member of the Union, neglected members of his constituency while in office adding that he contributed in the failure of the outgoing administration of Prof Idowu Olayinka.

Other members of the non-academic unions said the exit of the bursar marked an end to tyranny and unfriendliness in the institution calling on other top leaders in the institution to learn from the way he has been treated by the unions.

Good morning Nairalanders. I sure know you all fine.
I am writing this with heavy heart.
I know we have super rich people here who rose from poverty to riches.
This life isn't balance. Done with school. Been working as security administrator in my church and I earn 80k. I have beenplanning on getting married. Have met my fiance Parents, they were happy. I have engaged her she is happy. All of a sudden the elder brother who isn't around is angry that I haven't spoken to him about my intention. I have earlier tried his line severallly and it isnt going through. Had to chat him and he told me I am not serious that I should grow up. A bullet in my heart.
Her mum has suddenly changed and is accusing me for not calling her always.
This whole drama has gotten into my babe now she is talking about us suspending our marriage plan and try improving our income. (she is learning a skill)

I am fed up. Have suspended everything now. I have tried everything since I left school last year to improve my income. Apply for jobs here and there. Is just not cutting in.
Please, share your experience on how you were able to get out of this average life as a Nigerian. Advise me and others still struggling to rise up.
You can recommend jobs for me.
I studied history and Diplomatic Studies.
Have some certification in Leadership and human resource. Trust me, I can deliver on anything legal. I have the capacity, but haven't gotten the opportunity.

Hello, I am a lady who is a tech lover.. I want to Educate some of my friends, especially ladies, on what and best things to overlook that are just for fancy..

Refresh rates: we hear about 120hz, 90hz refresh rate..sometimes you watch a review and the reviewer will say, the phone only supports 90hz and it's poor etc.. but the truth is, you won't even know if you have 90hz or 120hz. Infact, almost every tv in your house is 60hz, and you won't even notice a single thing..some monitors are 50hz sef and you won't even notice a single difference.
This is just a gimmick, over look it.

Ram; well this is a little bit complicated. Ram is Random access memory.. we see phones having 12gb or Rams, like Samsung phones, etc. 8gb ram, 6gb etc..
What does ram really do?
Well, it is used to run so many applications at same time..it helps keeps some background apps open etc.. how much ram do you need on a smartphone?
4gb ram is sufficient enough for everyday use without noticing a lag..and of course it is normal for phones to get slow over time. Even the 3wgb ram on a desktop can get quite slow when using high demanding ram applications.. don't fall for the 6gb, 8gb or even 12gb. You don't need it. Most and all games will rum at 4gb perfectly.. what you should really look at is the processor and the GPU needed for the games.

Older phones are now outdated; Well this is the most stupid of them all. Example, the Google pixel 4XL is actually better than the pixel 5. The pixel 5 now has a low end GPU and processor..another example is getting a pixel 3a over pixel 3xl or even pixel 2xl.. in terms of raw power, the older pixel where high end phones and the newer is a low end..another example is getting Samsung a50 over Samsung S8. This is a blunder because the s8 was a high end of it time, and processors don't age that fast .a quad-core processor will take you upto 5 to 6 years before you can notice decrease in performance...
Always consider high end phones of older years over low end of newer generations.

4k, 2k and 1080p:
This is another gimmick to sell phones..most users don't own a 2k tv talkless of a 4k. How would you watch the 4k video? This is a welcome technology for the future, but for now. 1080p is still the standard, what you should focus on is if the camera has video stabilization.

Education / Re: My 3-Year-Old Son Can't Read Or Write Letters, Please Help by durasome(m): 9:39pm On Oct 22, 2020
kenny1111:
Good afternoon everyone,

please I need advice from all parents and Educators and parents on Nairanland. today I just realized my 3years old son cant even read Letters A to F talk less of A to Z but can read Figure 1 to 10, I am seriously worried.

I don't stay at home except for weekends as I am working outside my state, but due to the curfew I find my way back home yesterday so I was able to discover this problem in the early hours of today.

I know the mother is trying cos I have seen different live videos where she was teaching him and working on his assignment, most times I pity the boy so much because of the beating from his mum alone makes me sick but I can't really complain since I know is for his own good and I know how stressful it is for a mother with 2 kids to manage her time and all that....

I called his teacher immediately and she told me my son will be going to Nursery class when the present term is over due to his age, sadly she didn't say things I expect to hear from her so I told her I will visit the school once the curfew is over, I need explanation, is private school that bad these days ? my son can't even write 2 and 3

I have bought Video CD, bought many play book materials containing letters and figures displayed boldly, I bought counting and so on when he was 2 years so i expect a better result by now.

pls sir and ma, I need help on how to guide this boy to learn better, what should I do and how should I go about it.

Note: any time I am home, I always go through his books, assignments and read his school rhymes for him.

pls Help

concerned Daddy
.he should have Rather start reading and writing right from the stomach.
