What the speaker is going through now is usual and expected. It is a culture shock of having to meet a new way of doing things. Nigeria's culture is embedded in medical practice and such laxity is not tolerated over there. He will get over it. I remembered my brother called me and complained of the nature of food in Melbourne Australia but he is use to it now. Time heals every wound. The real issue here is not about validity of the visa but rather the robustness of your plan to travel through any route to your destination. In aviation, travel routes have different requirements. I witnessed this in May, 2019 when my elder brother was stopped from boarding Air France because of transit visa. That is theirs policy. We eventually booked Emirates that didn't require transit visa through Abu Dhabi and Singapore to Melbourne. I noticed two things from that trip. Don't leave all the travel issues in the hands of agent. Not all of them stay up to date. I had to read and research thoroughly to come up with Emirates as a suggestion for the agent as my elder brother knew little about aviation policy. Secondly, start your preparation in good time and ensure you have a good reaction time if you notice any error, that will allow you to control and correct it at a lesser fee. Consequently, for Airfrance we paid 800k but a paltry sum was refunded. Because he needed to be in Melbourne before 5th may, 2019, the Emirates tickets became expensive. I will never forget this experience in a hurry, I cried for him but he is relishing it now as a senior medical officer. I hope I have answered you. Sir. |

Questions were asked if those perculiarities can be captured on IPPIS template, the answer was no by the government agent. That means wider consultations was NOT done before implementation. Again, NNPC, PPMC, FIRS and many other agencies are not on IPPIS. If IPPIS stops corruption how comes the former accountant general stole so much from this platform. Let me inform you that you can still use other platforms to pay university workers and then plug it into IPPIS at the same time to check leakages. The act that created the federal UNIVERSITY is that of the national assembly, a wise government that may want to do this should first send IPPIS as an executive bill through the national assembly. You and I know that the national assembly debate will expose the fraud behind at the technical session hence federal government is lily livered. |

coputa:You have deviated a little with your wrong choice of words. You seemed not to understand the nature of this struggle that started before you were born I guess. I am a postgraduate student that believed in the health of Nigeria's education system. If a lecturer is lazy there is no way he or she will meet the stringent requirements for becoming a senior fellow. Secondly, this government uses propaganda alot and if you kowtow to it then you are doomed. This agreement was signed in 2009 so what stopped the implementation. ASUU has agreed to renegotiation and that is the reason why a timeline was given to that event. Are you also aware that it took the federal government over 2 months to call ASUU to the table for negotiation after the strike commenced? What then is your definition of patriotism? Federal government does not have the power to proscribe ASUU except an industrial court. Use your brain to think through this puzzle, if ASUU demands are not in line with the principles of collective bargaining, why don't the federal government approach the industrial court for resolution. Think for yourself. |

Batch A 2007/8. Highly regimented and manners of things that happened in other camps were not allowed. A soldier told me then in our camp that he will work his transfer to Ekiti camp because there sex was offered and allowed within the camp and Conji wan killing am fa.
