The media can be easily controlled, but you see the internet ehnnn it's very difficult to control. There are lots and lots of offensive data on the internet, I still saw pictures of decapitated children few minutes ago in a thread opened in 2014 on this same Nairaland. A lot of offensive materials like that, which the government and several individuals will love to keep away from the internet still exists there. There are websites that contains how to make explosives using household items too. Maybe the Chinese web is easy to control sha, but it's so difficult to control the world wide web. I'm not referring to censoring websites alone o. You can access banned websites using VPN too, I remembered that time when the Nigerian government placed a ban on Twitter.

There may be truths in your comments, but meaningful alliances win wars sir. China and North Korea may be strong allies of Russia, but then don't forget that one of the reasons that led to the Nazis losing the second world war was because majority of their allies are not strong nations. There's strength in number. At the end of the day, if the war becomes a world nuclear warfare even Russia will be decimated. No winner or loser in a nuclear war.

That's true, getting married was almost considered a big deal for all then, hence the surest way to be sexually involved with a member of the opposite sex is via the institution of marriage. In my opinion though, I think polygamy is fast going extinct in Africa too, at least in this part of the world. Except maybe in villages, most/if not all of the families I know are nuclear families. The idea of being married to multiple individuals at a time has lost/is fast losing acceptance.

The funniest thing is that we've voted for individuals praying either religion in several elections, yet there's no positive change in the state of the country. Security, the economy and so on are all in shambles.

Instead of shouting/clamouring for Igbo presidency, Yoruba presidency or Hausa/Fulani presidency, why not look at the pedigree of all the candidates and go for the best in your perception. No wonder Nigeria has continued to retrogress over the years, it's not rocket science mate.
