Ryabcool: seeing as the number of contestants are very many in this competition, a few of us here are wondering how the contest is going to be run. There is every indication that if everyone is grouped into one thread, a lot of contestants who are farther down the line in terms of numbering will be hampered by inadequate attention and publicity. Which leads me to ask; Is there any plan that the contest is going to be run in batches, or should we contestants bear our cross? Batches of 6 contestants per thread shouldn't be bad, as everyone would have a chance to get equal recognition. I anticipate your reply I don't know how you intend for us to go about that. Everybody cannot be number 1 and there's no credible way of ensuring that putting you guys into groups will not be biased as some other ones wouod still be bottom of the list if done that way. It's why we have always arranged contestants in a first come first served arrangement according to their order of verification. |

handsomeclouds: 20,000# You didn't say #30,000. Plus the Chicago style isn't that easy like the APA. For someone offering 10k as the base offer price, requesting for 30k will be getting too ahead of yourself. Don't you think? |

Some of us have enough experience. Can you go as high as 20,000 Naira? Three days for all that work in Nigeria at that price? It's basically going to take away your whole life. LOL |

I think Etisalat favors phonecalls to the UAE but Etisalat still has one of the most expensive tariffs for local calls which is fair if that's what they charge for calls to the UAE. Just check out Etisalat's tariffs to that destination. |

Kachisbarbie: Dygeasy and friends... I made sure I avoided that place like a plague. Even though there aren't much fun places to go here. I stayed in my house and found solace in my bed. People come from everywhere to shop at the Shoprite here. Even from nearby towns like Ogbomosho. But Bia, you just like to dey cast pezin. |

DRISKLEF: Top of morning to you, dygeasy. Hope you're well?
I, Drisklef, have decided to pull out of the contest for reasons best known to me. I appreciate your being able verify and enlist me as one of the contestants in this amazingly prestigious online pageant.
Having explained out myself to my team members, I humbly demand you take down my name from the list of contestants as i believe i owe no other persons any further explanation.
Thank you. Noted. Thank you. |

enshi: But Bro there was no thread to that effect I acted based on the first info you disseminated to us Well, just because opening of threads is free, it doesn't mean we will open threads everytime someone blinks. I posted the change in schedule, several people quoted it and reacted. So I don't know how you missed it. I'm sorry though. |

enshi: To this end I still can't reason why the moderator(s) have refused to verify my application for contest in the very Mr nairaland pageant..
I was legally nominated, I have even sent my verification photo with the required inscription yet they have refused to adopt me on the list
The credibility of this competition is in dare scrutiny if I am denied to contest.... Many people have come to me with different flimzy excuses as to why I may not be verified ranging from the date for the deadline of verification being changed from 7th to 4th. And this is against the very info that was disseminated on the first day of the campaign thread
Well .... My fingers are still crossed waiting to see if I wont be verified.....
CC: Dygeasy Cc: seun Cc:lalasticala You all just abuse the word credibility with the wrong usage every time. Wetin sef? The date was shifted back and Nomination and Verification ended yesterday. |

ashewoboy: i sha don call seun. Let him intervene. People will vote you because you are more popular than any other contestant, those you have helped. You seem to be a nice mod. You are sure to garner a lot of votes from education section. You should be disqualified. If you eventually win, people will say you liased with dygeasy, NLjega to rig the election. You recall that you were one of the organisers of the recently concluded miss nairaland election? You have a very close bond with these guys, the election might be rigged to favour you. I opine that you should not be allowed to contest.
Cc: seun. Fynestboi was never a part of the organizing team. Being a moderator changes nothing. We've had moderators contest before and they never won. If you as a contestant do your homework, you shouldn't feel threatened by a moderator being a contestant. Nairaland moderators and The Mr Nairaland Contest Organizers are two mutually exclusive entities. They work independent of each other. Thank you. |
