Guys it’s all in the faith…tell God what you want and he will do it…we were also told 20% motility won’t do it…but we treated and trusted God…also used addyzoa…with wellman and vitamin c and zinc tabs…..never went back for a repeat test and God did it

I'm not new here cos I've been on the reading and learning side. Yes I'm a man.
I got married last year July. And truly, I've left the idea of having a child open like if it comes, it comes. I've been with my fiancee, now my wife for 3 years. I know we tried getting preggy before we got married and it didn't happen. Afterall, pregnancy wasn't a reason I wanted to marry her. She's a good woman so we proceeded to be husband and wife last July.
We tried again for the rest of last year 2020 to no avail. I'm married so I was unbothered but wifey started getting worried. Our TTC journey actually stated in January 2021. We agreed to see a Doctor. The doctor asked how long she's been married, she said 5month, Na so the elderly doctor chase her oo .. Tell her say she wey marry day before yesterday dey worry that she has no case until the union is a year old. And that she's under 30years.
She codedly met another younger female doctor in the same clinic and they talked. She told the woman that we have been doing kerewa for 2 years oo even before we were married. That was when the younger doc suggested she run some test, Hormonal Profile for her and SFA for me but before them, she was giving Clomid to take on her second day of her period to help ovulation incase that's the problem. She did that for 2 months (as in during her separate period). But wifey complained of some bloating and that so I asked her not to take for the 3rd month.
Then we ran the tests. When her hormonal profile test result was out.. My baby passed her test properly. She was okay and alright. But guess who performed woefully in his test? Yep, you're right. Me!! My count was 7mil, 20% mobility..... Blah blah blah.. Ha I was downcaster oloun! Like I thought I was Ogbologbo Ajigijaga firing on all cylinders but see me na, I dey send 7 million soldiers go fight strong army.
The younger doctor now presented our matter to the elderly Doctor who prescribed the following drugs for me
1 Clomid
2 Vitamin C
3 Vitamin E
4 Zinc
He said I should take Ciproflaxin for 10 days before starting others.
Naso I read about Clomid oo.. I say why I go take drugs wey woman dey take. With some reviews and that, I wasn't comfortable taking Clomid.
I consulted few people, and I substitute Clomid with Proviron. I started by mid May.
We were asked to continue meeting even as I take the medication. Someone had suggested I take Addyzoa too so by the end of second month, I substituted Proviron with Addyzoa. So we keep trying. I stopped all mediation two week to the end of the 3 months because of funds but I did not stop praying. My wife and I pray together, and I pray more since I'm the one with the problem.
I declare that I'm fruitful and I'll multiply. Sometimes after meeting my wife, I'll place my hand on her tummy and command the sperms to go and conquer��.
Well, she was expecting her period on the 8th of August, which is my birthday. But nothing. Wifey was always complaining of slight headache and back pain which I thought it was the mattress that's responsible for that. I notice she sleeps more.
Well a week has passed and still no show. Yesterday, she did some urine test first thing in the morning with the strip and the picture attached is the outcome. She was soo happy.
I could not believe it too but I know God did it. She will be going for the blood test to confirm it soon when I have money�
But I'm sure God has answered us!

Dear men, please subject yourselves to medical examination. Support these women. The problem could be from either party but with your support and God's mercy, we will all multiply. I'll keep you guys posted �

Fine Sugah …tnks Egg boost was given…can’t say the brand cuz it was just tablets in the tablet bag 10 tiny pills 2 daily from day 3 to 7. It’s not clomid cuz we’ve used clomid before and no ovulation. Also used wellman to boost sperm…. Now dunno if we should continue with the varicocele surgery…we have already booked for September..not paid yet tho…dunno if it’s necessary at this point as we conceived without it??

Okay o I’ll share mine…mine I short and simple and planned by God. Someone on this thread introduced me to the people’s doctor on Instagram.I shrugged it off like which kind online doctor
But something told me to check the page and I did…told my spouse.we paid consultation fee and she asked for all the test….we worked on the sperm and the egg. Then triggered and God did it on our first try
I was almost on disbelief

She is a great doctor and made our journey less stressful.
She doesn’t treat blindly and knows exactly what to treat even without seeing you.Although she has a hospital in Benin…

TTC started about 21months ago. 3 months into it we decided to seek professional help we went to a general hospital, long story short we were told to come back when its 12months.
We went home and kept trying. 3months after we were told to get some tests done by a family nurse.
My hormone profile came back with high prolactin (I had breast discharge) Hubby's SFA, count was 13million ,fast progressive was just 20%. We commenced treatment, I was placed on parlodel and some other drugs. Hubby was placed on drugs and injections as well. We did that for about six months again, nothing happened still.
So early this year we decided to try a different approach, we went to a tradomedical (I never liked trado but this one was based on recommendation) we started treatment with herbs for detox for a few weeks, before starting orthodox. We were given IV IM and oral antibiotics, we were using protection while on the antibiotics.we kept praying for result.
Fast forward to early June when I expected my period to come but it didnt, I had cramps instead for 2 days. I used strip, I didnt see any thing. I was scared, I ran to the lab for scan, scan was okay no PID, no cyst, everything was okay. No sign of gestation seen. I bought more strip on my way home, I bought synergo as well(it was recommend by a mama here) thinking its the prolactin that wants to mess my cycle up. I waited for about 3more days, took the test saw 2lines and I kept asking myself if its positive, I kept it till hubby woke and showed him and we kept staring at the strip and asking each other if its Positive or not. I went for blood test for confirmation a d it came back positive.

We tested out the trigger shot tho but still in doubt whether it came back.

And today is day 14 after the trigger shot.... ovulated two days after the trigger.... cuz we got the surge the following day after the trigger, and ovulation is typically 24 hours after surge.

There are 2 red lines in the first 2 strips.....it can be residual hcg from the shot still showing up or might be hcg increasing....the hcg shot typically stays in the system for about 10-14days so it might be it or not.
Only way to confirm is to either wait some days and test after her missed period or do a betaHCG test to see if the hcg is increasing.

Today is cycle day 24 and 11dpo....cam anyone see a line pls.... Seeing a line and doubting at the same time...can it be trigger hcg

The first green was 2 days ago...second 2 are today ..all with afternoon pee

Anything above 10 is good...but speak with your doctor to properly guide you. Also progesterone level doesn't always equal ovulation. For example we had 13 progesterone level last month....which would mean we ovulated.....but we didn't because there was no follicle that month. So there was no ovulation that month but progesterone level was fine

Another option is to start tracking with opk from day 6 till u see a surge....once I get the surge u can trigger....trigger helps force ovulation for ppl who's follicle don't rupture....so if u have been ovulating normally I don't think trigger is necessary.....
So to ans your question... typically day 10....

In addition make sure you eat alkaline food and fruits that circle and before. Acidic vagy/honey pot can be very hostile no male/XY sperm. XY sperms strive more in an alkaline friendly environment. You both(mummy and daddy) should try and avoid acidic food.

Well, you're not just trying for a baby but for a specific gender. The egg has to be waiting for the sperm to get a boy so you'd have to be sure the egg is already released and waiting before you introduce the sperm.. Its not a matter of if the eggs will be released but when...timing is paramount in gender selection.
If you BD before the egg is released, you'd most likely have a girl...im sure you've done your research already sha.

Abstain until you confirm the egg is released. A transvaginal scan will show if the follicle has ruptured (ovulation) then you can fire down.

It's 3 days but there's nothing wrong with her saying 7 days....she likes to get an accurate result cuz most of her patients are in different locations....but asides that she is good....used her egg boost and it's currently working....and no it's not an ad...I have used different doctors and she is the best so far

it's supposed to be 3 days abstinence. Run away from anyone that tells you to abstain for 7 days.

See a doctor....nairaland would only help u so much...but also having a personal experienced doctor would guide you through these

Please I plead with anyone that has experience on vitex to let me know what it's for. Please someone just answer me. My Fsh is 3.47, and the normal range is 4.46. Clomid 100mg have taken it for 3 cycles and in this 4th cycle my gynecologist added tamoxifen 10mg together with the clomid and betaHCG shots for 3times now

I think The worst thing I did to myseld was to use clomid. The very first cyst I had in my life was caused by clomid. I used pregnacare too, I did not ovulate, infact that one was worse because it delayed my period. I had pregnancy test every day and it was all negative. And when the period finally came, I had heavy bleeding for 6 days. From the first day to the last day, it was so heavy, I've never had such in my life. I was scared. few months later, I found out through scan that I have cyst.

Thanks...we've stopped clomid....opk always negative....no double line at all....just 1 ..... also done the homonal test...shared it before...pls see it again... Doctor said LH is less than 5 that's why....would give vitex a try

How did you know she's not ovulating? Has she checked her hormones?
Has she been tracking her cycle using Opk or doing follicular tracking?
Hormonal imbalance can cause anovulation.
She can give vitex a try. It regulates menstrual cycle, promotes regular ovulation, balances estrogen and progesterone, reduces high prolactin and lengthens short luteal phase.

Sir, please tell your wife to stop using clomid unless she is being monitored by a doctor. It does more harm than good.

No, the teas shouldn't be taken while on period. The teas can thin blood, cause heavy flow and even prolong period days. If trying to conceive in a cycle, the teas should be taken after menstruation till the beginning of fertile window. But if not trying, they can be taken throughout the cycle except during period.
