Salary:
Most private schools in Nigeria pay between 20k to 35k. Since am a case study I earn 33k.

Other means:
Private school teachers have other means of getting paid, mostly home lessons. Most parent who have their kids in the private schools can afford to pay for home lessons.
I take 3 home lessons for an average of 11,500

Expenditures
1. Little eyes are on teachers so no much family expectations. I still live with my parent and only contributes little as 15month...took the responsibility of buying pure water every month.

2. Transportation is a major problem in Nigeria but most private school teachers work very close to their houses. I spend less than 600 on transport every week...I live in the North though.

3. Wears
Teacher just need to dress moderate and simple..
Just go to bend down and select like 5tops and 3trousers that will be anough for you for the term.
Though I wear nice clothes but don't look too expensive like my Banker friends..

4. Flexing
Na here matter dey....teachers don't flex much
I don't drink,smoke or do babe things..no time Allah but I have my beautiful baby she works too and I don't spend more than 2k/month most times

5. Children
Yes our work has helped us to know and study every character and development of child.
Most great people you see must commend their teachers and our kids live better in life.
Most private schools allow their staff to pay just 50% of the school fees like were I teach..

Accommodation
cant say for anybody but for me I can pay 120k/year for accommodation

Saw the profile of some of the past volunteer corps... Quite impressive and some of the where deployed to AU HQ in Ethiopia.... Some na Sudan, CAR among others. But am just wondering, countries like South Sudan, CAR that are experiencing unrest.... Dem go still deploy volunteers go there... just being curious.
