I think some specs have the ability to turn off the electronic speed limit or do not come with it and thus push the top speed close to 200 mph.
The American specs usually are speed limited though.

biafrandream: I am happy the proposed mono-rail was not started in the first place. It makes no sense spending billions of naira on mono-rail, when the roads are in a very poor state.

I am sure Sullivan would have changed his mind after considering the opportunity cost of building a mono-rail in place of roads. Mono-rail is good but developmental projects should be prioritized to meet the most desirable and immediate needs of the populace. If the roads are fixed, we can then talk of mono-rail.

Take the case of the new secretariat as a case study, I was one of those who bitterly criticized Sullivan, for embarking on such needless project, when Enugu is in dire need of affordable housing. Imagine what impact the amount spent on that secretariat would have made on the city if the money was used to build low-cost housing.

It is not really easy to make any developmental progress in a deeply corrupt clime like Nigeria where even your kinsmen would reject you, if you fail to embezzle public funds. For those in doubt of Sullivan's personality, go to Udi and ask his kinsmen what he told them the day they paid him a courtesy visit. He asked them to go back and increase the least of what they wanted the government to do for them, because the one they had was very small. Of course they never went back to him.

I do not worship Sullivan but I do honestly believe that he is doing a good job. My only worry about Enugu now, is that finding somebody that would fit into Sullivan's shoes after he vacates office, will be difficult. Is it the likes of morbidly selfish and myopic Ike Ekweremmadu that would suffice? *sadface.com*

Abagworo: Imo State people are not illiterates. Banks should pay their tax and stop playing politics over a basic issue. Banks pay tax in Lagos why won't they pay in Imo and other States?

Afam4eva: I disagree that the absence of quality residential area is the reason why High class have refused to live in Igboland. The reason is that for a lot of these high class people have no business in the South East. The only reason why they would erect a nice building most times is because they see Igboland as their Ancestral land. The government of the SE have to put in measures to make the creme de la creme of the Igbo society to remain in the SE.

I have to agree with you on this.
They need to have a sustainable source of income to stay put, not just quality housing.
