OP thinks we are dullards here.. Comparing the price of fuel alone. You have to compare d Per capital income of both countries then.
I'd like u to ponder on this too. "Venezuela are behind in crude oil production and they sell fuel now @ less than 10 naira per litre".

@OP It's easy to detect that you are one of GEJ supporters.

Buhari is our next President whether u like it or not. #ItIsWritten
Did you clamour for a price increase when the price of oil skyrocketed?

You're using both ends of the same stick to crucify Jonathan. When he wanted to remove the subsidy to encourage investors to build refineries and abolish the corruption in the petrol subsidy scheme, you refused. But now that the price of oil has gone down worldwide and we can't enjoy the benefits cos we still don't have any refineries, you want to crucify Jonathan again. You have to decide on exactly what you want.
Everyone is shouting for pump price reduction to "N10".

When the oil prices skyrocketed we all kept mute, no one called for its increase to N200.

APC supporters are all bloody hypocrites.

The north is on self destruction mode and is being urged on by its elites and slaves.

The elites have kept their citizens suppressed to use for their selfish interest.

It is time they said no to them.

Wow.
Very sad, that a group of people do not have a mind of their own and cannot ask pertinent questions.

The elites keep them suppressed and use them at will.

I will be the first to agree with you that this is as a result of our general lack of a maintenance culture. However, this is were leadership is key. The President uses the airport from time to time. It is not enough to stroll through VIP every time. Or just listen to false reports that they cook up for you. Sometimes a leader needs to catch his "staff" unawares sometimes. Pay a surprise visit. Catch people of guard. And where they are lacking, don't hesitate to apply sanctions. The same principles that apply within the family and in business apply in governance. If you leave people to misbehave without rein, this is what you get.
Looool!

You want the president to pay surprise visit to the toilet, what is the work of the head cleaner?

Soon he will start paying surprise visit to your room to see if you swept it.

Buhari did not cut short democracy.

Buhari cut short lootocracy dressed as democracy.

When you see democracy, you will know.

He might have done some things wrong but all the campaigns against him are being funded by the looters who want to protect their loots.

When a commoner like you joins their chorus, you have ended up showing that your existence is in vain.

Their accounts are loaded with millions of dollars and all you could boast of is some lousy "chewing gum" money. And if they win again, the access you have to them now will enter voicemail. Any attempt to get close to them, your fvck up will be addressed by koboko from MoPol.

Angola. You need to understand Angola and the kind of government and ruler they have. We must not be among the worst. The partial deregulation is even the problem. It's encouraging stealing and lack of transparency. Even the president know this but seems to have his hands tied behind his back by these powerful cliques.
The deregulation is a gradual process in stages.

Recall the outcry that followed the steep increase in prices.

We tend to forget so soon when we want to just criticize.

Which time.

When did oil prices fall huh

You failed to mention the countries that have reduced for all petroleum products since. But your government only did for petrol. To them that fraudulent regime of kerosene subsidy must continue and also continue to enjoy the proceeds of high diesel sale.

You also fail to realize that the market is not fully deregulated.

You also fail to mention those that increased the prices with increasing oil prices.

So the loss of revenue would take (87-27)=60 per litre to fix?

This one is as gullible as hell. You are an irredeemable illiterate if you think the price shouldn't fall than that in an economy where the cost of living is high and the so called revenue is misused by the government. Olodo
Do you realize that the pricing is not fully deregulated.

If not why then did the pump price not rise with rising oil prices.

Shocking display of ignorance on the subject of economics.

In your mind you are a genius undecided

Do you think the economics is as simple as 1+1=2

You have to take into consideration the revenue short fall also

Why did the government not increase pump price with rising oil price if the maths is that simple?

Mass ignorance is a problem

even if they don't sell at 100-97 , trust me those people will sell at 90 because no 3 naira change

and i strongly believe that this is a bad omen, they announced that cement is 1k , cement sells for 1850 even 2000 right now ,
