lolaxavier:
Not sure exactly what you are driving at huh
He is trying to explain that the counter coup, targeted at women and children was wrong and Ojukwu had to speak up for his people.
If Gowon had respected the Aburi Accord there would have been no need for a war or secession.

Politics › Re: You Have No Excuse For Failure, Lamido, Aliyu Tell Buhari by eagleeye2: 8:11am On May 15, 2015
We must have excuses, cos Nigerians love people who easily make them forget their past.

.
Example; A Dictator coming back after 30 years to lead the country again as a democratically elected president. The Irony of it is that he got to power first through barrel of a gun. And 30 years later Nigerians rewarded him with their votes.
If that is not excuse enough, then I don't know what is.
Politics › Re: HRH Sanusi Speaks Again On The Missing $20b And The PWC Report. by eagleeye2: 8:11am On May 14, 2015
I will like to see justice done for Nigerians and all our stolen monies recovered.
But the truth is that, the chances of these monies being recovered is as slim as IBB accounting for the Oil windfall during the gulf war. It's also as slim as the Abachas paying back all they have looted. It's even slimmer than OBJ explaining how he funded his Library and Ota Farms.
Goodluck to Nigerians and Nigeria.

Isnt he a former Head Of State? How old are U Sir?
Please try to comprehend before quoting others.
Buhari has been absent from Council of State for meeting for as long as I can remember, because he feels that becoming a democratically elected president is his birthright. Same way OBJ started abstaining from Council of State meetings when he felt he was slighted.
But since these old men, marauding as Leaders have gotten what they want, then it's okay to come to the Council of State meeting.
What happens to "The interest of the country being above the ambition of any one individual".

“You have to convince your
constituencies that you have virtually arrived at the
wrong time and that they have to temper their
expectation. Try and persuade the people that it is not
possible to change the state of affairs over night,”

What other convincing (abi confusing) this man want again.
