Owerri was only 4th behind Onitsha, Aba and Enugu in population but 2nd most important after Onitsha in religion. In terms of administration Port Harcourt was even under Owerri province just like Orlu, Aba, Umuahia, Ohafia and Okigwe. The old Imo State was created out of Owerri province following removal of Ahoada from Owerri. Only Ebonyi part of Imo was from Ogoja province.

Now to Orlu. If the entire stretch of Road done in Orlu area is less than 5km may all my descendants perish but if its more than 2km may all your descendants perish.

Obiano didn't rebuild any Mosque because the said Mosque was never burnt in the first place.The Hausa community in Onitsha misinformed the public and the media carried it without investigating properly. Below is the mosque when Obiano visited. It is still as it was when he visited except that it is being repainted. those pic you posted up their are virtually in every city in Nigeria really. even katsina where I served have better roads than the ones you put up there. you must also know that every city in the world has its own fair share of slum and Owerri is not the least affected. the city also has its not too good side though not as bad as the average slum in Nigeria cities. as I said before most of those pic I posted covers vast area of new Owerri and it environs which requires considerable time to drive round. It is not a reserve area as you can find residential homes as well as commercial centers especially relaxation spot, resorts, hotels, casinos, fast food, shopping centers etc. if I could remember government house is close to Rockview hotel in old owerri and most of the streets/roads are in ok condition.

Chino Government house is about 3 miles away from where these photos were taken. Government house is at Old Owerri which equally has good neighbourhoods like the one you posted but not comparable with New Owerri where almost every street is dualised with lawns and new structures. New Owerri has a bad attachment at World bank estate which is a slum and Umuguma which is a neighbouring village which has urbanised without planning. Apart from those 2 settlements, the rest of New Owerri is exactly as you see in those pictures.

This fool go and trace your paternity. What you prefer personally does not mean anything to the general public who prefers otherwise. It is only a goat like you that will prefer a non economically viable state to an economically viable one. At the end of the day you wonder why people tend to migrate more to economically viable states than others..
