Forget English please!!! Did you listen to what he said? Have you ever fought in a war, battle, civil unrest, been shot at from different directions; not knowing where you'll be hit from? I was on 4 tours before closing my military phase and I tell you, some of us even speak gibberish during and for many, hours after such battle. When I say gibberish, I mean you'll see grown men speaking in unknown tongue. Call it fear, but we call it survival. Again I say, English may not be our language during tours. thanks CLeAtHead: |
Hi, I work in a consulting firm and I can tell you no top-notch consulting firm will ask a company to force its staff to leave WITHOUT PAYING THEM WHAT THEY ARE OWNED. The best way out of this is to sue the company. From the look of your post, I am assuming its a 1-man business; sue them on your own if the other members of staff are timid to do so. You don't have to get an expensive lawyer; this are the kind of cases young and ambitious lawyers love handling. Let the lawyer write them to give them a deadline within which they must pay you your money, if they fail, sue them for damages; don't worry, HR lawyers know how to handle such issues. Hope it helps. |
lol. i dont think the suited guy was trying to shake though. More like body language kind of. |

Scenario A: You work in a global Multinational, your boss is the West African Head of IT, you connect with him on LinkedIn, his connection gives you access to his global connection (also your company's global leadership). From there, you connect to the global leadership on LinkedIn. Bear in mind that these global leaders might not accept your connection request unless there is a common ground. Your common ground in this scenario if your manager. Hence, depending on where you work, depending on the social media platform you're referring to, depending on how far you wan to build your career, PLEASE CONNECT WITH YOUR BOSS. That's why I love LinkedIn. |
May their soul rest in peace. This is very sad. I agree driver might be speeding but what's the quality in that car? Remember the first set of Kia Rios imported into Nigeria? They came in without airbags, not until people started dying did we even got a hint of the airbag issue. Quality of imported cars (both brand new and tokunbo) coming into the country should be reassessed. Once again, may they RIP and God grant their families the heart to bear the loss. May those who sustained injury receive healing in Jesus name. |
Just last Friday, I was driving home close to the Falomo Bridge in Ikoyi doing about 20kph; suddenly a LASTMA official ran into my front (at 20 mph). I stopped suddenly only for him to apologise that he was actually going for the car behind me who was making a call while driving. I told him point blank "I for don kill you, are you that useless to your family?" Yes we agree they are on the line of duty but I see the same stupid mistake the suite-less bomb detonator made. How can you jump in front of a moving car just top create a stop so u can catch a law breaker. Why cant we have a technic that traps number and easily put them on the rough driver list. To me, I see hundreds of LASTMA men kicking the bucket in the next few months, quote me. |

I work with KPMG, yes there is a test scheduled to be held at UNILAG as stated in your mail. Good luck. |
Hi Wolex, I am interested, can I inspect tomorrow morning by 7am. Also, whats the total payment? Thanks. |
Yes I agree the age limit is 30 but I disagree with you partially on the aim aspect. Our class back then was a mix of oldies, teenagers and early 20s. I was 25 when I graduated in 2004. Many went in when JAMB didnt give them admission, many also went in because they had to work and sponsor themselves at the same time. otokx: Part time graduates are not required to go for NYSC. The aim of part time is for those who are already in employment to upgrade themselves and as mature students the least age is expected to be over 30 but trust Nigerians to always bastardize and corrupt the system. |
we shouldnt be too forward in blaming these guys! They actually graduated but could not serve, hence could not get jobs. I graduated from LASU Part time school in 2004 and as at today, my whole set is yet to get our NYSC Exemption letter. we were asked to fill a form in 2007, that's the last we've heard of it. I am fortunate to get a paid job; many in my set resulted to menial jobs, some are dead and some were sacked because they could not produce their NYSC cert. Abeg these guys should be released and let the Government face more pressing needs. mshewwww |
How many years payment? |

People, Please I need help here, anybody know of IITA Ibadan's recruitment process. I actually went for their interview (I met 4 other people for the same job) and about 48 hours later, one of the reference on my CV said he got a reference request for me from IITA. Does this mean I am being considered or is IITA doing the same reference request for the 4 other people I met at the interview? Any other IITA views will be appreciated. Thanks |
@Otunba and Garnetty; sorry! |
