Eazilyfe: About this bro, my first comment few days ago was to monitor you car and know a little about car drivetrain thats the best way to be a driver in nigeria becos these mechs will whine you and when the problems comes you will bare the consequences 100%
On this screenshot i posted is the error codes from check engine after i entered Third mainland bridge last week, before this code i used to have P0420 catalyst code which i shared here but i have solved that by dropping the exhaust taking it to Car wash to blow the carbob blockage caused by rich fuel conditions since 2 weeks no issues instead of me buying catalyst 100K plus ifai see original sef
The P2757 error code was caused by bad CV JOINT from lekki pothole damages which made transmission oil to leak and throw code (i watched youtube videos and when my mech was changing CV joint today for me i went home to check how CV joint is linked to transmission). Tomorrow i will call him on how to solve the issue further and confirm that i dont have oil leaks after replacing the CV joint if so i will change my oil seal to prevent further leaks from transmission
The Second P2195 code was caused by the guy who wanted to loose exhaust for me but went to loose manifold, when i didnt succumb to buy new catalyst from where he knows he just rebolt nonsense there. Car dey sound loud for reverse like say i dey drive Mustang. I took it to my mech Panel to retight and seal the manifold and exhaust line, problem solved.
Thats just how i follow up on my car maintenance and avoid big issues from what 2K-5K would fix. Got this scanner last year when i was having hard start issues and car high fuel consumption. It has helped me diagnose many car problems like Live Data, Error codes, Maintenance monitoring etc Scanners fit no tell you the problem directly but it will give you clue, i will keep saying that's a PLUS ADVANTAGE to KNOW ABOUT THE CAR YOU ARE DRIVING DAILY If not i for dey waste money scan or repair wetin no spoil.

capetownboyz: we need to talk about selfishness that exist in this job towards riders and drivers ..I took a trip from Ikeja gra to awoyaya late in the evening around 4pm , though I didn’t realize what I signed up for but if anything my last experience going through that Ajah the gridlock nearly questioned my mental state ..I took this trip hoping to make some money for the day and i haven’t driven to such area before but bolt made me so ..I met the rider at the pickup location and my mind was telling me cancel this trip ,it is too far and it’s already evening and you might get stuck in traffic and I will start lamenting which I did on our way cause we were half way to awoyaya along the costal road that was yet unpaved ,I drove through the rough road my vehicle was literally vibrating through the gravel lol and she was complaining if my vehicle doesn’t have shock absorber ..We’ve gone pass sangotedo, I asked the rider Omo this your location is far oo haven’t we reached yet ,I was met with a reply ,I’m unprofessional if knew the place was far or didn’t know about the location why did I accept the trip ,why didn’t I cancel the ride..she chose her selfishness over me and she is more concerned with me getting her home safe ,while I will need to figure how to get back to Ikeja cause I hate traffic and I don’t want to be stuck in one ..Well I was fortunate enough not to meet traffic on my way back and we settled 25k for the trip ..rode back home from awoyaya to Ikeja but mehn my body was vibrating and I felt the stress I just put myself through cause I was chasing gains in this business ..so sometimes choose your feelings over this riders cause at the end of the day it’s your story to tell and you will pay the consequences for not listening to your feelings when things go wrong .. You just dey experience trips going after Lekki Phase 2 to Ajah & the rest. If u get intentions of coming back to the mainland with rides on week days no let 6pm nack meet u for those area |

MoonlightDrive: I am also in the process of finding a final and lasting solution to my gear problem. One gear master charged me 160k and I will pick up my car in 4 days, that he will need to drop my gear from the engine. I will rather buy a toks gear, than leave my car engine in the hand of a gear master that I have never had any history of dealing with. A new gear master I just met said N20k, to service filter and valve body, and he will only accept payment after the problem his resolved. May God guide us to good technicians. Even if na 2K e wan collect, i will stay with him till he finish. If e no finish i go resume with am second day. This guy said he will service the gear and valve body, i reach there next day only for him to change only oil because he discovered it was blocked filter causing the issue. I just dey vex dat day day i dash person money to change oil. |

cyif2003: I get ur anger but one tin u shud know about gears is dat different gears have different prices when it comes to fixing by a mechanic. Some are more problematic.. besides I can't just give any random gear person to fix my gear. Gear people and a.c are in d same WhatsApp group..... U can't buy parts for Dem.... Ok let's assume I was there he changedbd parts and gave me my own bad one. And e start to dey leak again no b still d same tin. He gave me a guarantee.... I have called him and I am taking it back to him. He has to find a solution. Bro, regardless you still need to be there like you dey follow up on Car maintenance. because ur absence means you over trust them and that could be one of the reasons you dont have a permanent fix yet. For example, when i was having gear issue last year, Car dey jack if i dey go for road. The gear guy charged me 25K to fix it, when i reach there go monitor am i discover say e no do any repair and my gear issue na mere blocked filter which e changed and bought new oil and problem solved. So next time i no fit make that mistake again of giving him 25K |

Kaymax2222: you see car maintenance is one of the things that take huge chunk of the money we make unless you are not ready to put your car in the right shape. I wonder how someone will say driving your car for long hours every day does not have any effect on your car. Something wey be say you maintenance bills will go up and one thing is repairing cannot return the car to it original state. Changed all the shocks and did all the leg works still the car is making some squeaky sound now Any small leg repair u must run uncalculated Alignment except u wan risk your tyres. Then you fit wan change ball joint make u get other things that needs to be fixed. I just pick the most important and fix in order of potential breaking down on the road causing embarassment Yesterday when i loose exhaust and Catalyst, na me carry am ontop bike go car wash go blow am come back. Panel beater dey tell me make i buy new catalyst i tell am say Pressure washing go fix the restricted flow and drop in efficiency. So far i have been driving without check engine light. |
