Besides Peter Obi in LP there is NO any other strong politician/candidate compare that with NNPP which has serving senators, NA and state assembly members.

A Muslim North Christian South presidential ticket becomes quite tricky without majority support of Northern governors.
Atiku from the North maynot be command an overwhelming or at least voter margin defining count and that would neutralise whatever else the other candidate will get from the other areas.

Ditching a Degree in place joining the Nigerian police force as recruit would probably be the dumbest thing anyone can do. Even if his dream is to be a police officer, a university degree would place him in much more better position and future options in the police force.
Education is its own reward. Even if an education doesn't guarantee you a suit and tie job in Nigeria, it would certainly give him broader options in the future in Nigeria and outside Nigeria.
Abandoning the pursuit of a university degree to be a Nigerian police corporal would be the dumbest move in anyone's lifetime. A lifetime of regret awaits him he chooses that path.

Stop overreacting. Nobody is abandoning anything. He can simply defer a session or two at most and would come back to finish it. There are countless number of people parading the same Degree certificate struggling to get a 20k job. Unemployment in Nigeria is at an alarming rate and a Degree certificate does not guarantee anything.

Let us be realistic and accept that the odds of the two main political parties APC and PDP favor Tinubu and Atiku respectively.

Personally I strongly believe we can do so much better than these two amcestors, but reality paints a different picture.

APC ticket points towards Tinubu basically due to two main reseans;
1. The sentiment to rotate the presidency to the south. This has strong support even among many northern politicians like Ganduje, El-Rufai and Zulum:
2. The grassroot structure of Tinubu made up of many of his boys who call shots in many southern states.

PDP on the other hand will most likely repeat the 2019 primaries at best. Till date nobody in PDP comes close to Atiku's determination and resources. If a primary election is conducted he would most likely defeat any other candidate.

The above prediction simply narrows the choice to these two.
