My Uber story.
I asked this guy to pick my phone charger I forgot at a friend's place and bring it to me. This dude could not read GPS map! A trip of less than 10minutes estimated at between N400-N480 took him more than an hour. he kept driving in circles and missing the right turns, despite me been on the phone several times. He claimed he didn't know the area. When finally arrived fare was N1,700. I was generous enough to give him all the cash on me which was N1200 and he tried to argue with me that uber will also charge him.

Oga leave that talk abeg. You can't compare Venza with RX ok. Lexus is created to compete with more luxurious brands like MB and Audi. While the common plasticky Toyotas like the Corollas, the Camry's and the Venzas are meant for the poor and those who can manage to use vehicles with minimal luxury.
And please learn the meaning of words before using them. The Venza was discontinued, Toyota only reintroduced it.

The Acura is most likely to have more luxury and safety features as well as more pleasant and fun driving experience and powerful engine. While the Lexus would be more rugged and reliable especially on our Nigerian roads.

Personally I'd pick the Acura. Despite all the close competition it is still way cheaper due to worldwide higher demand for Lexus.

I bought a Rx Venza,2010 model last year,it carries a 182 horse power four cylinder engine,(engine parts are available in the market). it has a lot of cargo space and attractive interior,low fuel consumption, it has a dual zone authomatic climate control and eight way adjustable drivers seat with lumber support. Good for them, but unfortunately it is likely gonna flop again. Why buy a faux-SUV Toyota when you have so many better options within the same price range even within Toyota family. You have the RAV4 wihich is the king of compact SUVs? The Venza doesn't really offer anything special to appeal to a specific consumer base.

No single difference between the 2010 RX and the 2014 RX, except only the front bumper design which he can easily do upgrade and save himself big money. 2010 RX to 2016 RX is just like 2010 Prado to 2019 Prado same same, just slight bumper and light (and bonnet latest model for Prado)

Thanks for the clarification. So the much needed upgrade would only be achieved if he buys something like a 2017 RX.
Some of my colleagues were disappointed when I told them I bought a 2006 Acura TSX last year. They said the model was too old. But they were shocked when I showed them it has more features than even a 2013 Corolla.

Again the front design is wack but Venza is more sweet and Venza have proved it's durability and relevance for many years now and will still be for more years to come. For me I'll go for Venza unless the newer model of 350 like 2017 upwards

You know the Venza was discontinued by Toyota right? Because people were not buying it. On the other hand the RX is one of the highest selling Toyota product for decades. So go fiugre. Just because you like the Venza doesn't make it better.

In my opinion changing from a 2008 MDX to a 2010 Venza is actually a downgrade. Changing to 2010 RX350 isn't much of an upgrade either.
The Venza is not an SUV, it is just a station wagon of the Camry which comes nowhere near the MDX. The RX is more reliable and you can bet on it to basically run forever with proper maintenance. Which makes it very very expensive and high resale value on the other hand.
My verdict is if you cant upgrade to something like 2014 2017 RX or the MDX do not upgrade from a 2008 MDX to any 2010 Toyota (both the RX and the Venza are Toyota).
But if you must choose between the two choose the RX, but your pocket too go tell you the difference.

I type this with so much pain and sense of loss. I found out about two years ago that my step mum is not my real mum (everyone keeps wondering why am just waking up to the obvious).

I grew up being hated by my mum's (now step mum) family, usually beaten, overworked and deprived; but I was told that I was being trained to be strong since I was the first daughter by my mum (now step mum). At age seven I cooked all the meals except my (dads soups) and did all the cleaning. By age ten I cook every single meal at home, wash all the cloths and Iron, clean the house and run all the errands while my siblings both older and younger play and watch TV. I always felt my mum (step mum) will love me just a little bit more if I worked harder; she always told me I was special (and different) and that she loves me so much but does not know how to show it. . It hurt me deeply then that I was different so much so that its expression translated to pain; but that's in my past now and I have no regrets.

Fast forward, am all grown up and fully independent, then a distant relative I helped told me two years ago that my mum is not my real mum with facts. For me it was a relief (I thought there was something wrong with me that made me unloveable and to be treated different and given less, but I know better now). I am more confident knowing she never loved me and that it was no fault of mine.

Now, I just can't move on knowing I have a mother and I want to meet her and ask her questions (why she would dump her child for another woman to raise? Why she never came back to take me? Etc). And also if we could catch-up and be friends maybe.

The problem is that no one wants to tell me anything since most of my family members fear my dad and keep referring me back to my dad; I visited my dad and begged him to tell me who she is (I cried so much that he had to beg me to stop), he asked me to go so he can discuss it with my mum (step mum) but now shouts me down each time I bring up the topic.

I want to find my real mother . l don't know why I can't sleep or think about anything else. I need closure. I have been advised to sue my dad and am considering it. Please help me, I can't bear knowing I have a mother out there and not know who she is. Please help!
