The day southerners begin to see the northerners as partners instead of rivals is the day Nigeria will begin to develop. We never wanted this amalgamated Nigeria in the first place. About the guy naming a dog Buhari, imagine this; a Hausa man writing 'Odimegwu Ojukwu' on a pig and parading it through Ariaria market, what do you think the Igbos in the market would do? Would they just laugh and take pictures? Or just look away? Certainly not! |

Queseda: These igbos are the most tribalistic and hate-filled people I've ever seen. Always priding themselves in some fable thoughts to just feel good about themselves. Always bad-mouthing others for no reason. I've travelled the length and breadth of this country and neighbouring countries and I tell you the Igbos are the worst people I have come in contact with. They hate on other tribes, yet they are the ones who find it hard to stay in their region, just sit your ass in your region since you don't find anything good about other tribes. Their behaviour is really pathetic and I strongly believe their is something ìn their DNA that makes them behave as if they are some yet-to-evolve apes. Nigeria will do herself a lot of good to actually let these people have their own country where they can keep their hatred and arrogance before they spread it to other people Thank you for that blunt declaration. I f one is to be wicked to Igbos he'd divide this country. Their arrogance is irritating and how they disrespect and look down on everyone else. I'd not that I have some good friends among then ehn.... |

How viable is a state that cant pay workers' salary? Most of the so called richest/viable states are owing workers, while most of the so called poor states aren't. Example Delta is owing while Jigawa and almost all states in NW aren't. *Modified Vanguard and it's unprofessional reportage like vivian's blog. Apart from their poorly edited articles that are filled with errors, on many occasions they post inaccurate information like erroneously referring to Katsina as a NC state. It's common knowledge that apart from Lagos no any other state can sustain itself. Why not post the details of the percentage of every state's IGR with respect to its federal allocation received? Always trying to paint the Northern states as the worst while in reality they are by far better managed than their southern counterparts. Congratulations and happy birthday to my beloved state JIGAWA and other states; though we have a long way to go, but we are proud of you! Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria! |

theenigma: Very valid points. The West....also fighting its friends; and, supporting/arming its enemies against its friends. Irony is they think, and call it, it 'strategy'. Saudi Arabia supports Muslims in Nigeria. Iran supports Muslims in Nigeria. Iraq supports Muslims in Nigeria. Pakistan supports Muslims in Nigeria. United States (a supposedly Judeo-Christian country not only fights Christians in Nigeria, but actually supports Muslims in Nigeria). Britain (another Judeo-Christian country, supposedly, not only fights Christians in Nigeria, but actually supports Muslims in Nigeria). France (a Judeo-Christian country, supposedly, not only fights Christians in Nigeria, but actually supports Muslims in Nigeria). Irony is that they (those they support) still continue to bomb and terrorise them at home (US, Britain, France etc) and abroad? Are Muslims and Christians in Nigeria enemies? How does discussing how to cater for IDPS translate to supporting only Muslims? Am embarrassed with my generation. |

Kudos Dmainman, keep up the good work. lecxis: Please can someone help me out on how to take the English language test. Kudos Dmainman, keep up the good work. You can take any of the tests they listed TOEFL and IELTS are the most common in Nigeria. Each costs around N40000 when I asked early this year. What baffles me is why aren't Nigerian applicants exempted and why is this not on front page? CC Lalasticlala |
