Mr man fvck off with all this your nonsense statistic....north west and north east are the poorest in Nigeria....if it was not for the south..you guys would have being worst than Niger republic......you are free to show me any report that shows northerners living better than the southerners...poor thing
Can't you be matured enough to make your points devoid of curses? Anyway you ar just been sentimental to say the north would be worst than countries like Niger, (or you can provide the indices that support that). And I never said the north's living condition is better than south's.

There is a difference between poorest countries and countries with highest percentage of poverty. This report is talking about the former. Dangote owns about 30% NSE he drives the largest chunk of Nigeria's non oil production sector.
Anyway keep telling yourselves whatever makes you happy, it's non of my business.

The famous Groundnuts generated a total of 154,000 pounds.

Cocoa the same.

The only commodity that neared palm oil from the Niger Delta was Tin mining in Jos which wasn't even up to half of that realised from palm oil.

Can you people now shutup on that silly lie that your cocoa and groundnuts were used to develop the oil industry!
What if you add Groundnut, Tin, cotton and Hide&skin? How much is that?

Are you sure? Because if I remember well I read somewhere it's gonna be around 100MW. I think you are referring to the Gembu plant which is the one supposed to generate around 3000MW. All the same it's good development.

It's amazing how every political situation has to be formatted and converted to conform with with Islam versus Christianity or North versus South rivalry, even American presidential election! Despite the small number of Muslim voters in America and their seeming inconsequentiality, they still made the center of decision making and Islam is still the fastest growing religion especially in the west and the US in particular.
Anyway to all Islamophobes and southerners who are paranoid of an imaginary evil plan by the north/Muslims against you, do whatever makes you happy, ......they plot and Allah plots! Indeed Allah is the best plotter!

Sharia Courts traditionally favors men. The woman don lose this case.
Actually you are wrong. Sharia automatically gives custody of children less than 15years to their mother. If she remarries and her new husband doesn't want the kids in his house the next suitable custodian is the wife's mother then followed by the father and then his mother.
If anything Sharia law is the law that truly emancipated women, protects them and pampers them more than any law in the world.

A fracas like this should tell you it has nothing to do with ethnic background, it can happen among even family members.
RIP to the dead. And sorry to disappoint you Hausa-Fulani have never been more united.

Students in the north wear ankle length Hijab to write whatever kind of exam.

It doesn't mean he has money,it's an obligation for them to kill Ram,some even sell their property or get loan or borrow from friends, just to buy Ram
We have a family friend who sold one of their houses just to raise money to go to Saudi arabia
Guy it's NEVER an obligation to kill an animal during Sallah, it's just a voluntary act which has become strong due to its cultural implications.
Hajj too on the other hand only becomes mandatory IF the person is wealthy enough to comfortably afford the Pilgrimage without causing any financial difficulties on him or his family.

Ok i get it, the original text of the Qur'an is written in Arabic but you must agree with me that the transliteration makes it more easier to recall for those that have forgotten the Arabic alphabet, but that did not in any way change the original Arabic text.
Yes you are right it does.
Pets › Re: Joachim Iroko Names Daughter 'Aisha' by EazyMoh(m): 10:30am On Sep 05, 2016

The translation of the Qur'an is the interpretation of it's verses in other to comprehend it's meaning, i get what you are trying to say but that is not what i meant about the Qur'an being written in English, the English version of the Qur'an is called the Transliteration, it contains word for word of the Qur'an in English as it written down in Arabic.
I admire your knowledge of the issue, but again you are wrong, a transliteration is also not a Quran! A Quran MUST always and only be written in Arabic language and Arabic alphabets. This is because no any form of writing can represent the Arabic alphabets, and no any language can translate Quran in its exact meanings. Again the Qur'an itself declared that it's Arabian. there is no two way about it.

OMG!! Arab Christians DO name their children Aisha. And Zainab. Even the Catholic church I went to in Jos was called Fatima Cathedral. Fatima is Arabic for Mary. Christians do name their children Arabic names. Look at you. Even the Vice Chairman for the Christian Association of Nigeria is called Musa Dada. Musa is Arabic for the Hebrew name Moses. Stop spreading false rumours.
Guy Fatima is not Mary, Maryam is! There are biblical names that are common between Christians and Muslims, and there are names exclusively from the Arabic world since the time of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). It's extremely rare to find names likes Aisha Fatima and Zainab among non-Muslim Arabs because almost all the natives of the Arabian peninsula (that commonly used the names) have converted to Islam over time. The Christian Arabs are culturally different from the bedouin Arabs who named there kids Fatima Aisha and Zainab.
In the case of northern Nigeria, Northern Christians mostly borrow the names from their Hausa neighbors in order to blend so as not to be discriminated against in terms of school or employment.

There's an English version of the Qur'an, any body who knows how to read English can read it word for word.
English version is not a Quran, it's only a mere translation. Quran is only and always in Arabic.

One more thing. A Mistake a lot of applicants make is dwelling so much on past questions and answers.
I remember a miss NYSC competition during our camping, one of the participants didn't know who the speaker of HOR was! Thats how docile and ignorant many graduates are today. So definitely they don't stand a chance answering a series of questions that require a lot of reasoning and current affairs.

Reference:
Thank you. It is not beef or chicken or turkey but mere common sense. Transport is a great force multiplier but will you buy a car, truck or van now or put the money into production of the goods you want to transport anyway. Production is down everywhere. Transport will make business more profitable. It wouldn't in itself create business. Government's priority now is to generate production, wealth before it thinks of enhancing profitability and ease of doing it. Its priority should be partnering with the privates to get people to work making stuff. Agric related infrastructure should be top priority now.
Don't mind them.
Not everyone understands the wisdom in prioritizing things. My former state governor ( Sule Lamido) installed street lights in every local government headquarter running on generator from dusk till down every day all year round! while the state ranks among the highest poverty ridden states with over 70% living in poverty. But our people list that (the street lighting) as one of his top most achievements.
And I repeat this rail will have no significant impact on production because it is basically metro line.

First of all you can't claim Kano more than me. My dad was a true Bakano, though I now use Jigawa state. I presently permanently live in Kano. So my comment is out of love I have for the state.
Am not saying the rail system is a bad idea, what am saying it's a misplaced priority. FYI the rail is only gonna move within Kano metropolis, so it's not gonna affect movement of products as some of you claim.
With the newly built flyovers in the city, there's almost nowhere you can spend up to 10minutes in a traffic hold up, and the transport fare is also cheap. I can get from Yan Kaba to BUK New site with just N200 and within a short time. Compare that with last year's tomato glut when a full basket you can't lift sold for as low as N400, imagine if provision for processing was established how much the economy of the farmers and the state would have improved.
It's like the proverbial your house is on fire and you are chasing rats.

Politics › Re: Ganduje Awards $1.85b Contract To China To Construct Kano Light Railway by EazyMoh(m): 10:34am On Sep 02, 2016
Misplaced priority if you ask me. We shall all focus on production, production and production. Even our agricultural produce if properly processed can generate jobs and revenue for the state. Kano is not congested at all to deserve such project.
