Hello friends place I am having a difficult time here! My Ex is really on me wants us back any advice cos I still have some feelings for her!
A very odd timing, cos as am typing this message I'm at an eatery waiting for my ex. But in my case I don't want her back cos I have moved on and have someone else. But I'm looking for ways to revenge. So let's say this is just a starting phase for that to happen.

Com'on! take a look at Noah for instance. What crazy imagination would come up with the idea that angels are rocky dudes? I'll call that one crazy. They are making it look less human for crying out loud. I believe the essence of making such movie is to make us more believers in our faith than introducing elements that are not even close to what we believe in.

The producers of most movies are affiliated with satan worship. They are in it for the money and to confuse people. Esp those who dont know much about the bible or those who are stubborn and puck only veraes and chapters as it benefits them.

TV/MoviesI Was Disappointed By The Movie Exodus: Gods And Kings. by Eberex(op): 10:05am On Mar 30, 2015
I saw this movie just of recent and i was disappointed truly.

First i was hoping to see a different version of ''The ten commandment'' or better still see a very high taste of Effect from the plagues. For instance the plagues themselves are of a different nature (crocodiles, for example), and the Israelites were afflicted by the plagues along with the Egyptians.

Why make a movie if it contradict what is in the Bible?

Before the film's release, some controversy arose over statements from Ridley Scott that he would be looking to natural causes for the miracles, including drainage from a tsunami for the parting of the Red Sea. Can you see, even the producer is not a believer.

I'm waiting to see another movie of Moses where i can sit and enjoy the very best of 3D technology effects.

If you have seen the movie, what is your take on it?
RomanceRe: This Is Why Men Cheat by Eberex(m): 9:01am On Mar 30, 2015
Its applicable to both genders. If we all have the fear of God, no one would dare to cheat even when the partner is not giving. Maybe it is when brimstone will rain down from heaven, then will the fear of God enter.

All i am saying is, if the couple build their marriage solidly under God's love. Cheating would be a foreign language to them.

Peace!

Men cheat because they lack self-discipline. Ask Paul in the Bible how it was possible for him to remain without a woman.
Christianity Etc5 Types Of Preachers You Will Meet On Your Way To Work by Eberex(op): 8:32am On Mar 30, 2015
In our Country Nigeria and most especially in Lagos, one tend to see pastors and women-pastors in almost every corner of the street most especially in the early hours of the morning. Some with megaphones while others try to be heard even when their voices are not audible enough. Below are the different categories of public preachers.

1. HELP THE MINISTRY. You find these ones at motor parks for those embarking on long journeys. They will board the bus alongside the passengers and start to preach. After which they will ask the people to support his ministry. After collecting money, he will thank them, then tell the driver ''let me get down at the next bus stop''.

2. COME TO OUR CHURCH: These ones are those who move in groups on the street. They will find a good spot where they will evangelize. The main speaker preaches through the megaphones while the members go round giving invitation cards to passers-by.

3. YOU MUST REPENT BY FORCE: These ones you will find very early in the morning. By 4:00 a.m they are already in the street screaming at the top of their voices. Most are old folks who would stand at one corner preaching to whoever cares to listen.

4. GIVE YOUR LIFE TO CHRIST: These ones don't look like preachers until they start preaching. You find them in the same public buses on your way to work. They will start with '' i greet everyone in this bus in Jesus name''

5. TAKE THE TRACK: These ones don't preach. They just stand at one corner of the street and give out tracks to people in such a way even you cannot say no but to accept it.

6. POLICE PREACHER: There is this particular police man who always preach in the bus. For those who go to Opebi-Allen, you should be familiar with him. Passengers will be like ''Police man ke? dis one miss road for him profession o''

7. WE DON COME O: These are those who visit your street with all their church members. They come with loud music that makes it impossible to hear anything. And all you hear is songs and afterwards their leaflets all littered on the street.

Please add yours because i'm sure i left many out.

Maxcollins042:
Pls mention the pros and cons of the experience you had
1. While in church, my neighbors who usually greet me every time they see me were the same people who robbed me of my laptop and blackberry. I knew they were the ones but what can I do about it? The police would need proof, hence I let it go.

2. I took part in the construction and maintenance of Gov. Akpabio's house at Ukana in Ikot ekpene. So I had access to infos from the Security personnel stationed there. There is a particular market, I cant remember the name now, that strangers tends to get missing. when you get to the market and try to enquire where to purchase items, you will be led deeper into a certain part of the market until u fall into a pit. Well that's the end of story.

3. Akwa ibom is not a commercialized state, hence you really cannot start a business like if you were in lagos while you are serving. Its only the foreigners that spends money in that state, and only few of their people who patronize.

4. Juju is common here too. One called ''kognomi''. It is used mostly by women. If they put it inside your drink or food, you become their slave. I didn't believe this until my worker who was from auchi narrated how his elder brother who got married to one of the indigen ended up building a house and putting the wife name in the document, and not just that. He hasn't gone to auchi to visit his people for the past 10 years now. When confronted he will ask them if it is anyone's business.

5. I witnessed this one. A man and his wife was seated outside their veranda when a man came. The wife stood and went to meet the man. Right in our presence the man touched her intimately and I was like ''what? in front of the husband?''. The husband just sat there and pretended to be busy reading a newspaper.

6. Almost all the girls there would give you one of these responses if you try to toast them . ''I am hungry''', ''buy me coke'', ''take me to buka'', meaning they are not expensive. Here I mean both the local ones and those of them in all their polytechnics. No try am for UNIUYO sha.

I will continue later, my finger dey pain me
Nairaland GeneralHeadphones Wearer Beware - Adjust Your Volume !!! by Eberex(op): 2:07pm On Mar 27, 2015
When I see old people, I notice one thing: Either its their sight or hearings is weak. I'm yet to meet one who has breathing problem though. And here I'm referring to people who are 80 years and above.

But I don't think people in our own generation will make it to 80 years before their hearing ability fails them.

When you look around us today what do you see? Everyone is wearing an earpiece. Its now a fashion. Some people are incomplete if they don't go out with their ear phones. Some times you can hear the music coming from the ear phones when seated next to the person, and you are like ''dude!!! are you having a small ear drum?

If you can hear the sound being delivered into a person's ear via headphones or earphones,
it indicates the sound is too loud and over an extended period can lead to permanent hearing loss.

The amount of hearing loss that one will suffer is related both to the volume, measured in decibels (dB), and the duration of time that one is exposed to the sound.

Sound at 85 dB or below is considered safe. Think about it!

If one is exposed to sounds greater than 90 dB for an average of eight hours per day without hearing protection, hearing loss will most likely result. As the volume increases, the safe time of exposure decreases:

Here are some loudness/time facts to consider (the unit of measurement is decibel):
##At 95 dB, damage will occur after four hours of exposure per day.
##At 100 dB, damage will occur after two hours of exposure per day.
##At 105 dB, damage will occur after one hour of exposure per day.
##At 110 dB, damage will occur after 30 minutes of exposure per day.
##At 115 dB, damage will occur after 15 minutes of exposure per day.
##At 120-plus dB, damage occurs almost immediately.

Most portable stereo music systems produce sound in the range of 95-108 dB at level four and in excess of 115 dB at level eight

For comparison, a soft whisper is usually measured at 30dB; busy traffic at 75dB; a subway train at 90dB; a gunshot blast at 100 dB, a jet plane at 140 dB; and a rocket launching pad at 180 dB. Sounds above 140 dB usually cause pain. If you have to speak in a loud voice to be understood, background sound is probably in excess of 90 dB.

Pass the message because the way things are going, i'm afraid most of us will be like ''heh? heh? heh? I cannot hear you'' when we get to the age of fifty.

Let me share my experience. My office sent me to akwa ibom, you know engineers don't stay in one place. I stayed in Ikot ekpene and being a lagos brought up, I find the place quite opposite to Lagos life style.

Nice weather, nice people (but not all), good food, especially their soup: white soup, afang, atama.

They have good roads too.

Transportation is keke and cab. No okada.

I only learnt three of their language after my one year stay . Meseere, abadie, and mbok.

You will enjoy the place, I guarantee you. But do not go to places you don't know, or someone asking you to follow you to a new market. For the fact you don't understand the language, that one alone is enough to sell u. I will not mention the negative reports I heard, so as not to discourage you.
