lexy2014:Pls re u sure abt wat u knw of 'positivity' & 'negativity'..? Both refers to your attitude towards a proposal either in 'affirmation' or 'against'. So now, if ur govt wants 2 take a loan is either u re in support of it or against it, on lyk u, who show a 'negative' respond does'nt stop them from taking the loan. Wat i replied u earlier z dat ur respond does'nt mata if u r in or out, bt it matas wen we unite nd tell dem our views in terms of 'positivity' & 'negativity' directly, not by making ill comments on nairaland which only ''WE' are involved. See if mtn r 2 charge #100/sec nd you smile den u r hapi wit it bt if frowned, den u r against of which wil prompt dem to adjust. Bt govt is difrnt, if they obtain d loan wit or without our pemission then its up to dem 2 use it judiciously or not. |
Agboriotejoye:We are expressing our views on the matter and you are refering to me as zombie. |
Agboriotejoye:Bros i like your explaination. This is how we are to be handling our opinions or concerns. |
Gordson:Wetin i go explain again..? Guy abeg check or google this compound word for yourself ''TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR'' abi the english too hard again. |
[quote author=Officialgarri post=86532289]It's quite a shame on you to be among the people who affirms a belief that social media might have come too early to Nigeria. Everyone child wants to comment even on matters they are totally ignorant about. What do you know about TV stations both analogue and digital? Did you and the 'first to comment crew' even try to read the report to the end? No. You just read "$500m" and then your adrenaline pushes you type whatever... No doubt, the proposed social media regulation would have helped a lot. ... the loan was aimed at establishing the media and culture industry centre at the cost of $245m, digitise all NTA stations at $11m and construct integrated television services to infuse on network, ....... Bro. I wonder what's so hard for people to understand, even after the break down of what is to be done with the money some light headed beings still fail to use their common sense. We are talking about establishing an industry here. |
Gordson:Guy, na evrytin dey use autocorrect, you supos no say na pc i dey use. Na wa 4 u ooo. Abi u nver hear the english world called ''typographical error'' use ur head wel. after na some people go say lazy youth and some go dey jez |
Agboriotejoye:i dont understand your plight here, shey bi d place na waste, na him mak dem nid d money, abi as that place dat place na waste ur television for no dey show NTA....? |
Gordson:Igorance is a disease more servere than corruption. |
What's so hard in understanding the motto of NTA '' SHARING THE AFRICA EXPERIENCE''. Then i wonder why it is hard to see the benefits associated with it. |
Agboriotejoye:Now i can say you dont watch NTA at all, becos if you do, definitely you will be in support of this. In opinion NTA is the only tv station that has ever since preserve and broadcast the cultures, tribes, believes, traditions, histories, facts, mineral resources, manpower, craftmanship etc, of Nigeria. Please do a survey and ask any elder or parent about this i post. THEN YOU WILL SEE HOW IMPORTANT AND EDUCATING NTA IS FOR TRAINING AND BUILDING OUR CHILDREN IN TERMS OF TRADITION, HISTORY ETC. |
lexy2014:thanks for your questions i honour it alot. The funny truth is that none matters as far as nairaland is concern, it only mattes when we unite and walk up to the govt for accountabilities and accredibilities. So now on positivity, it is not only centered on the govt but on the young citizens mindset as well. While the negativity implies you are not in line wit d significance of the loan if proven 2 be productive, perhaps u can as well say we terminate d loan nd duel behind d shadows of d world. We as a citizens re charge 2 applaud or criticize a govt. Note wateva u re posting here is nt taken 2 any govermental arm, it is btween ourselves, so why post ill comments, when u knw our children or siblings re hear seeking knowledge. Now imagine how ill comments or bad information shape the believe or mindset of childrn. |
bakescos01:I admire your sense of reasoning for it is good, according to the news text above, it was stated clearly the amount realized from last year period. The ministry of information is self proving, judging with our music and movies industries that seems to be yielding good results from the likes of wizkid, davido etc. So imagine what happens when we broadcast digital. |
bakescos01:please, can someone explain to this my friend who or what ministry is asking for the loan. Your post should be directed to somewhere else like the ministry of education. Thanks |
JasonScoolari:I don't know if you will ever appreciate goods news. Instead of you focusing your mindset on the brighter side of this loan, whereas you choose to ignore it and act like a mere child. Be positive and hope something good will be acheive from it. HOPE! HOPE!! HOPE!!!. I wonder why it is so hard to accommodate it, post like yours is what makes our growing children to stick with such ill mindset. Then it amaze if this mindset will tolerate goodnews...!!! |
Please, can someone explain the work or importance of sultan or emir in nigeria, because money needed for better things are allocated to them. Are they not leaders too or are they ceremonials. Even the district or constituencies covered by these HEADS has children roaming round the streets, begging not even attending school. Yet they still receive huge amount of money from the FG. |
clarocuzioo:Please i dont really know what you are getting at here!. Was the metro rail line going to save the country from hash condition or is it going to stop people from treking now in lagos or was the rail routed to all roads in lagos. Please we are in democracy now, so i dont really understand why the thing of past is relevant today. Perhaps you might as well say it was GEN. SANI ABACHA fault |
[quote author=AnanseK post=86462740][So since Lagos is the richest state in the country what stops them from doing it in the last 35 years? And do you know that Lagos had the greatest proportion of PTF spending by Buhari between 1995 to 1999? Don’t be sentimental or bring in any hateful rumors , with Chief Rufus Giwa as the Lagos representative on PTF board and Buhari as Chairman billions of Naira had gone into lagos projects from Road networks at least a total of 100km network of excellent roads in all parts of lagos and all done by Julius Berger, Water Supply- Ikoyi VIctoria Island , Ikeja and Apapa. The Ijora Power Station where Lagos state government requested for the money instead of direct intervention as they have their own existing contractors and 1.5 billion Naira was given to them in 1997-98.] Now someone responsible with a good sense of knowledge and enlightenment is talking, but others wont pay attention and wont stop being sentimental |
Everyday we complain, but how can we as a citizen contribut to the security of the country. Even in our localities we still expect the president to make changes, which amaze me why are police being paid when they are charge to protect us. It also supprise me that some individuals can insult their president and they claimed to be a citizen. |
If they are to legalise prostitution now, people will become pastors, prophets or preachers to comdem it. Not knowing that the gov. can actually make revenue from it thereby applying this proposed tax on it. |
Pavarottii:PLEASE IF I MAY ASK, what resources ?. |
Just for your knowledge. whenever an economy gets bad like ours. It is of great interest that the government should draw funds or money from the national treasure, but since there is no treasure to draw funds from, then the masses we suffer with increase in taxes and commodities prizes, etc |
Pavarottii:how do you expect a gov. to build structures ?. if not to tax it's citizen, so its normal to apply tax on commodities. Then, i wonder if you had understand this, then you wont be saying things like someone defending the PRESIDENT |
Truth be told, even if our economy is bad then where is the money that have been saved for the past 16 years, so we can use it to build back the infrastructures this gov. is lacking, or the metro rail that the past immediate gov. cant do when nigeria was blooming. Please my fellow youth be observate and know when nigeria start failing. |
Since democracy, what has the past administration done.? Instead they cant rebuild nigeria but crippled some sectors (our refineries) and privatise (NEPA) and sell the ones still working (NITEL). If you are have stayed in Apapa for the part 20 years, then you will see the diffferences between then and now. As this gov. has built all the federal roads which ever since the past gov. has been patching up consecutively with flood everyday by day and dead fishes(rotten) lying here and there. We are in democracy so why talking about military era if you not insane. |
Pavarottii:you are not to say a word about something you dont know |
