dimka:I have told you before and this will make it three times - Isoko is Old Bendel State now. I hope you don't argue this simple truth? Can't you get it? |
dimka:No, Isoko was in Delta state, but presently Old Bendel State doyin13:Abi o, the guy can't get ![]() |
Not Delta, Isoko is old Bendel State |
Chief Seeu, Hum, nemesis? Me I no buy dis idea. We fit quarrel, disagree to agree but dat one no mean say we be enemies or say nemesis don catch the person because of his unawareness. If babeearly yab you, then yabam back with facts to change his viewpoint, but no take am as enemy. Una fit quarrel or disagree for dis thread, then agree for another thread. Na so life be. Whether dem don commit babeearly and co to mother earth, haba, I no pray for that one. My prayer be say make him dey hale and hearty. How you go talk like dat self? Do you know if babeearly or bobbyaf was that your good friend in your school days whom you have lost contact with and now praying to see him one day? Do you know the person wey you quarrel on dis forum may be that stranger you once said in the past thank you for your kindness? He may be a good neighbour behind your street or even your town guy. Why now nemesis and leaving the planet (committing to mother earth)?. I no dey for dis one. |
All I have to say is this, I am a Landlord and I give condition on how you will live in my house, and you know there are many houses outside mine. What would you do? If like the condition I pay and move in but If I don’t like it, then I find my way out. I believe this should be applied to this Redeem Church. Let us stop being confrontational. Can’t we have our own style of life? Must we imitate the west in everything? HIV test before admission – we cry and say third world country, don’t wear trousers to church – we cry and say third world country. Modesty when on the way - we cry and say third world country, Then come to church naked and be nude on the street – we smile and say advance country. After all in the bible, Israel tried to imitate other countries and introduced Baal, but they say the consequences. |
Now you guys are getting the points. There is nothing wrong to quarrel, but there must be a limit of everything because we are not enemies on this forum. I have disagreed with a few people on some threads in the past while at the same time agreed with them on some. Do you know the person you are seeing as enemy on this forum could be that person you once said God bless you for your kindness to me sometime ago? Do you know the person could be your close neighbour behind your street and have related well with him or her in the past? That is why we must disagree and quarrel with minimal force but not see ourselves as enemies. You can make your point and also correct where you feel someone is wrong but don’t curse. |
ono:Ok, as long as she will share it, dat make am no personal. Cheers! |
ono:Then, read to hear from her that she is another man's property. |
We have all made our points. We know a few people in this forum made some good points. Aside that, do we remain like this? Is there no way forward? I know there is always a truce after a long undecided battle. Do we now see ourselves as one created by one God? Is there no end to all these insults? I hope there will be a sign of reconciliation in our future posts? Where would this hatred lead us to? I need answers to these questions right now. |
That type of post, I think, 100 apologies will be difficult to assuage Igbo feelings. The Igbo race was killed like cockroaches and rats without mentioning the casualties recorded by the Federal side. The entire ethnic group (no one can be President again). Anyway, that is your personal outlook of this present Nigeria. But I tell you, true we lost the war, somehow the Igbos have not lost the vitality that keeps them moving, the courage to be has not been lost, that quality that will help them go on in spite of it all is still intact. So, today, Igbos still have a vision. Time will tell. |
Ok Chief, this thread has turned into English Class. Oya, make una carry begin waka dey go for Classroom. We go pay una for the lectures. |
Nigeria has different kind of people ![]() |
This thread could go all this long without me knowing! I will take my time and go through it before narrating the true story of the war. Some have said it all but there were more to it. I know I was in Port Harcourt and saw things by myself, the hatred against Igbos is so sad. All the lies about the war have been told, and some have believed it, even knowing exactly what went wrong. The injustice continue, a murderer was recently released and given a hero welcome, but Uwazurike, a non violent freedom fighter is still languishing in cell. You can’t push your fellow man to the wall and expect him to make a hole there and pass to the other side. No, is not possible, he will force himself back. Sooner or later, Igbos will bounce back fully. Just a matter of time. By releasing others and leaving Uwazurike behind, are they not telling us that arm struggle is the best language they can understand? |
I'm surprised, one of the Nigerian Newspapers (today) has it that OBJ dey halla say the Lecturers no mark his paper well. According to the paper, OBJ said upon all him write, him be dey expect nothing less than 9-As. Check out Thisday or |
The VC just annouced OBJ's result. He said more attention was given to OBJ's courses. Any way, the VC said out of 12 courses taken by OBJ , the baba be get 7-F, 2-E, 2-C. He now said that OBJ was able to beat the rest of the students in Crime Management, which he got "A" That is 7-F, 2-E, 2-C, 1-A - Total = 12 |
@poster I wan make you holla me, because I no dey cheap. What you will see in me will be above expectation. Even, the first time you will see me, you must say how I wish my man go be like this guy. Clean, fair, cool, radical, name them. But wait, you said “ready for marriage”, I beg comma dey that one o. Na your behaviour go determine if man go forge ahead for marriage. Just holla me. |
I-man got the point, and wrongly referred to another person what you should be called |
@Osereke Your last post before this could be what people think of you. Don't you reason so? |
@Osereka Chief Historian! What is the subject I don't understand? From bridge collapsing to America getting their payback! Why not focus on the thread alone and stop hitting everywhere like kids. I may be washing toilet, is still a job. Now, point out what is false from what I posted. There were no crises in Nigeria? Do you read Newspapers at all? Or u are just in FCT without knowing what is happening in other parts of the country? Your Nigeria is good enough, yet our youths are running out. What is chasing them out? Continue to wallow in ignorance and your self illusion that all is well in Nigeria. Are you the type that feels as long as you are ok in Nigeria, any other person can go to hell? |
@ denex US assasinated more people than Nigeria? You have forgotten our politicians using religion to incite trouble. How many people died in the name of Sharia and related crises in Nigeria within 8 years of Obasanjo's regime. ? We saw killings and reprisals spreading everywhere. Those that were killed, can you put it in digits? A survey carried out recently showed that about 50,000 people were killed during Kano, Aba, Kaduna, Umuahia, Plateau, Onitsha, Lagos etc crises. In Nigeria, more than 3 different crises were recorded in some states. What are you now saying? |
@Luka Quite alright, I'm a Nigerian but that does not stop me from telling the truth. No doubt, America is bigger than Nigeria both in achievements and whatever. So, re-emphasizing the already known truth does not in any way mean criticizing Nigeria. Most Nigerians should learn how to discuss on any topic especially one like this. |
Forest Trading can help a lot. Just last night, a friend made $1000 dollars. Just one night. Though, it's still a job. |
People are now discussing things that not related to this topic. Nigerians with there mentality! Simply that a bridge collapsed and some deaths recorded, that is why some people are posting rubbish. whether we like it or not, America is bigger, richer, more intellectuals, more generous, technology, than Nigeria. Hatred cannot stop them from moving ahead. It's this hatred that has made some to erroneously compared Americans with God. But I tell you, vision is perhaps Americans greatest strength, it has kept them alive to the power and continuity of thought through the centuries, it makes them peer into the future and lends shape to the unknown. Where is Nigeria? Unnecessary haters! |
They said it's not easy seeing it, but I believe if God wants me there, why not! A certain man testified how his wife was calling him all sorts names at the labour room, but the husband was running up and down not knowing what to do when his wife was screaming. The woman didn't know what she was doing, and the man was out of his senses. The husband only smiled and got himself when his wife successfully delivered. He started jumping up in jubilation like a kid. That is it, every man will do the same when this is a successful delivery by his wife. Often time, I hear women wailing during child bearing in one of the maternities close to my house. When they are giving birth, everybody in my compound will fold hands in fear due to their wailings. It's not easy, and as a result of this, all my neigbours find it difficult to beat their children, and they cannot raise their hands against their wives any longer. |
Sorry, Is not John 2, but John 20 vs 19-23. Here this, “when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week…Jesus came and stood among them…, |
adrianic:I second that bolded statement. They lack complete bible knowledge, yet they claim they read bible more than any other person. They are the likes that question Christ why he healed on the Sabbath day. If the Lord of the Sabbath had chosen Sunday, then I can't understand what they are complaining for. The day he breathed on His Apostles and said to them to received the Holy spirit (John 20:19-23) was on Sunday, the Communion Days i.e. breaking of bread (Acts 20:7) was on Sunday and it says ‘On the first day of the week when we met to break bread. Again, Resurrection Day (Matthew 28vs1-6) was on Sunday. Here this, “when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week…Jesus came and stood among them…, Read from (John 2-;1923). Take not the phrase “First day of the week” So there are many references in the bible to prove that Christ has chosen Sunday as a new day to worship God. This is why the bible says on the first day of the week. Can you dispute this fact from any New Testament portion of the bible? |
The poster cannot be heard any longer. Something is wrong somewhere! |
Computer guru, that is those who are interested to know! If she can read and write, then you can go ahead to marry her only if both of you love each other. Have you not seen some graduates trading - tomatoes, crayfish etc? If she can be a lovely life partner, what else do you want? You can also bring out the best in her. |
I see Nigeria sitting on a time bomb if they continue this way. They will soon unfold their plans, and by then, the violence upon violence that may follow will be like a hamattan. |
So, that's the guy? His pic showed he really prepared for this competition - Enough weight-lifting to gather stamina. It's so sad he's gone that way. I pray for the repose of his soul. |
@denex Japan may not hold such weapon, but I said full investigation in Iraq. Actually UN came to Iraq, but there were some places they wanted to go, but they were not allowed. However, you now know the cause of the war in Afghanistan and Iraq? |
