Heyyyyyyyy Great Ife!!!!! We are almost in the same situation! Been on my transcript with Etx since September 2019! Registered for ECA with CES too but now I’m on the verge of doing another transcript application to WES just to save my time! Please inbox me cos ETX and OAU wants to frustrate me too!

Good morning everyone and happy Sunday. Please I need some sort of advice.

I have been processing my transcript in OAU via etx since 2018 even before I bought the canny vision all to no avail. Over 30k gone down the drain.

Long story short I was introduced to someone in transcript office who has helped so far. I paid for courier service to send to CES as well extra PR for his own work since October 2019 and up till now My transcript has still not been sent.

I gave him a piece of my mind last night and woke up to his text now saying he wants to sent the transcript to me in Lagos and I’d send to Canada myself if I don’t mind the extra cost again. I don’t mind o but the questions are

Should I accept to do that cos I have been waiting for IFe to send it for the past 4months all to no avail.

If I accept should I send it from Lagos or travel to Ife to use DHL on campus to send it?

What if CES decides to verify and they discover I sent it myself though in the official envelope and seal, would it create any problems for me?

Since the school wants to frustrate my efforts, should I go ahead and send it by myself?

Oh yeah. 14 weeks from submission of application or from receipt of your transcript?

They dont reply or answer my messages.

ETX Na scam o. Paid for mine since 2018 and till now nothing. I mistakenly made two orders and paid 25000 instead of 12,500. Nothing yet. I used a transcript officer in the school. I’d suggest you do same

Hiya, yes I am using CES. Submitted my application already. It’s worth trying while we wait for IQAS and may be better than WES as per LLB evaluation

Please I need a reliable contact in Law School Abuja that can assist with my transcript. It’s really not convenient travelling down there with my little one. Can it be done from Lagos without me going to Abuja?

Who has used CES? Do I also need to to courier copies of my certificate although I have uploaded copies on my application.

Also my transcript from Ife is taking so long. Please I need used and tested contacts that can help fast track this processes for me . Thank you all

Anyone with details on CES evaluation for lawyers?

I have searched the entire forum and beyond, not one result pointed this out. Now that IQAS is on suspension, i really want to know if ECA from CES is a better alternative and if this is worth giving a shot for maximum (professional) points.

Hi dear, just going through the thread. I am also a lawyer and I’m evaluating my LLB and BL with CES. I called their office and was asked to still make my application. So I applied as two or more degrees. I’m still trying to process my law school transcript. I’m hoping it’s evaluated as a professional degree which is way better than WES

Congrats on the first leg of the journey. You can get as much as 42points if you pass tef very well ie from minimum of strong B2 Above. If you are new to the language, it requires dedication and sacrifice.

Thank you so much. I am an absolute beginner although I have been using Duolingo to practice for about a week now. I intend to devote Jan - June 2020 for the study and write the exam by July. Can you recommend any good French school for me in Lagos? Preferably on the mainland.

Hey guys, so I just checked my IELTS results now

Me Principal Applicant
L - 8.0
S - 8.0
R - 7.0
W - 7.0

Spouse
L - 8.0
S - 7.5
R - 7.5
W - 7.5

With this scores our CRS scores is 457 if my LLB and Law School certificate is evaluated as 2 or more degrees and

464 if it’s evaluated as a professional degree. Still waiting for my transcript to be sent to ICES for evaluation.

I am considering the option of TEF to boost our scores. I need recommendations on great French schools in Lagos. Also how many points will French add to our CRS. Thank you guys

I am about to pay for my evaluation. Is there a thread of lawyers who have ECA not from IQAS. I have searched the thread from part 1-9 and all I can see is lawyers use IQAS.

Few points about my application

POF
100percent gift deed from my father
Attached the notorised gift deed, bank reference letter (not in CIC format), statement of account for the day the gift sum was transferred to me and highlighted same and also added the transfer teller

Work reference
For the two jobs I have done which I used to claim 3years work experience I was paid in cash for both. So I just got the reference letter in CIC form and indicated I was paid in cash beside the salary.

IELTS
I can't overemphasize the essence of practice. Wrote it once and the scores are as seen above.

All other processes were seamless and uneventful apart from ECA where I had to wait on IQAS for 5months before my evaluation was completed. Was worth it in the end because my LLB was given a professional degree equivalence.

Now my watch has ended. TIME TO DISVIRGIN MY PASSPORT.
