A friend brought redmi note 8 pro for me from china. But the problem is that is the China ROM. I can't see any Google services like Gmail, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and co. All I see is qq. Baidu, 163.com and all the writing and Apps are Chinese. Even the whatapp I saw is whatapp plus.
Please how can I convert it to global rom, because I can't use it like that. Any suggestions and way forward how to change it will be appreciated Pls. Fibonacci2526 jboixxx embrace and co

You might have to root the phone then, starting with :
1. Unlock bootloader
2. Install twrp or any other compatible custom recovery
3. Install any English ROM you want

I switch back to Nigeria and reboot by device, after rebooting the update was still available, I have downloaded it but don't know if i should install and reboot or not, am afraid the update could be for India region, pls bosses and gurus is it safe to install? Try to check the APN settings manually for the Airtel line. You might need to change it
