He accompanied the Ministers recently in Abuja and Lagos to promote made in Nigeria goods.

While speaking on security, IGP Idris said “It is on record that we have within our short but purposeful stay in office marshalled out strategies to check a lot of security challenges that have continued to threaten us ad a nation.

“I would want to assure your humble self and indeed, all Nigerians, that with supports and encouragement like yours today, we have been able to reduce to the barest minimum, cases of high ciass Kidnap Kingpins and check their activities. You would recall cases at individuals and groups like the Vampire, Evans and over 3000 kidnappers terrorising people along Kaduna-Abuia High way and in other parts of our dear country.

“In the like manner, we are sincerely addressing cases at armed robbers, farmers/herdsmen clashes, cattle rustiing and a host of other criminal activities and gangs in Nigeria and remember that bail is free in nigeria

On the reason for his visit, the Ambassador of all Ambassador Kanu said he came to offer support to the Police Force and also seek ways to move the Nation Forward

This ongoing Slavery and Human Trafficking of youths (men and women) going on for a while now in Libya has to stop. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. It is dis heartening seeing black people being sold by Africans in Africa all in a bid to get to Europe dangerously by dessert and sea.
Europe is full and have their own problems at the boarders too.
We need boots on ground sounding the alarm that it is dangerous. Those trying to escape are poor and have no TV or access to what is out there.
Also we need to remand the people in Africa deceiving the migrants and collecting their money with promises of Europe in the first place.
Intensive work needs to be done by the Nigerian government and the governments in West/ east / north Africa to get the migrants out of Libya and more importantly tighter security at the african boarders to prevent the migrants trying to escape to Europe illegally.

Clara Care Foundation has offered N1 million to the first 100 aspiring aspirants of the second edition of Queen South East beauty pageant contest slated for February Next Year.

The Organizer of the event Mr Emmanuel told newsmen in Owerri that amount was to offset their registration.



“The Brand has donated N1million as registration fees for the first 100 young ladies aspiring to participate in the 2018 Queen Of South East contest coming up in Owerri Imo State by February Next Year

” The Brand Director said the amount is to encourage more young ladies who may not have the financial means to participate in the contest to do so



“I am therefore, encouraging more young girls to embrace this exceptional opportunity of free registration,” He said.

Emmanuel said that the idea behind organising the Queen Queen Of South East Nigeria contest by the Newsland Integrated Media Service, is to enable young ladies of today get prepared for the future, reawaken their cultural identity and imbibe decent morals in them.


As a cultural promoter and ambassador, I encourage young girls to embrace decent and culturally edifying outfits and brands.
“A lot of morals have been lost, the new generation of women don’t have much values for themselves and the Contest project is trying to instill back those values.
” Values as selflessness, caurage and discipline, are what a Queen is to exhibited in her lifetime,” she said.
She noted that the vision of the Contest, was to bring back those unique values associated with the Pageant, through the cultural pageant.
She said that the curent queen, Nnenna Offodile , a final year student of the tansia University was crowned.


Queen Clara Offodile, who is the Founder of Clara Care Foundation said the cultural contest, first of its kind, was to boost our culture and tradition, especially among youths.
“The contest is open to young ladies from ages 16 years to 26years, of which at least one of their parents must be of Igbo lineage from Anambra, IMO, Enugu, Ebonyi and Abia states,” she told pressmen.
She also said that “the winner of the contest would become the cultural ambassador, in addition to the gifts, wardrobe allowance among other gifts.

The Eleventh Fashion Show Nigeria (TEFS), holds , November 4, After the First successful years at the Bispok Event center last year.
