This thread is interesting, I thought GEJ is leading the opinion pool but it does not appears so here.

It is the lack of competition that is prompting then to do so, It is unfortunate though.They should remember that people have long memory.

1. The logo I.e the name of the site is too obliterated, try and make it more pronounced and legible.

The name of the site is not too pleasant, How ever the site is not accessible.

It will be difficult for us to help you without knowing your forum script, How ever if you are using Vbulletin their are several mods to get the jobs done e.g 123 Flash chat, or SMF: SMF chat Mod, If you are using a different platform you can try integrating "Volution or Alive chat software".

They need a dedicated server, How ever this was an embarrassment, i taught it was my network problem.

@ gabuzee, please be very careful as you chose your webhost, many have inflicted untold wound on many, don't just take their promises look into their records and Google their customers review/complains.

2) THROUGH CPANEL
3)THROUGH MANUAL

By far the most stress free way of installing Joomla is via the Cpanel : Simple scripts ,Quick install or the fantastico as your host may call it.
By all means try and avoid FTP, you are likely to run into problem with database.By the way, all the methods have manual .
