Career › Re: 2.2 Geology Graduates, How Have You Faired. by ecolime(m):
I believe you can still make a 2.1 if you can work harder and smarter. Moreover, you are still in 300L. It could be so tough but it's not unachievable. Please and please, if you really wish to practice as an entry level geologist here in Naija with lesser stress and you don't make the 2.1 at the end of your studies, then adding an extra semester won't be a bad idea. Class of result isn't all you need to get your dream job here in Nigeria but its gonna play an essential role in your job search. All the best to you.

@Stevenneka: I was also invited... I really have serious doubts about this polytechnic because my personal research shows that it's not in existence. I don't have the money or time to waste in travelling down to faraway Ekiti. Please make your research very well before embarking on the journey.

born2fuck: Interesting-One thing is to graduate by merit, another is to graduate by influence , another is to graduate by cheat while the society believe you should be able to defend your result.

one thing is achieve result and make other work for you, another is to work for other for years, all down to wealth, honours and glory.

No mater what every individual graduates with, the greatest person in future may not rely on certificate, certificate should always be the last resort and not result after all effort have been put through to achieve success first without certificate
Hmmm.. WORD

Phonon: You should have done your research prior to applying. 130k - 180k per month should be a good range. It is an international firm but they would pay local wages not what the New York or Istanbul office is paying. smiley
Waohh.. You are right. Thank you so much.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Pwc Recruits Graduate Trainee 2013 by ecolime(m): 11:15pm On Feb 15, 2013
Phonon: Guy you dey vex o.That salary is downright ridiculous. This ain't 'Exxonmobil Recruits Graduate Trainee 2013'.Don't get yourself locked out of the initial assessment because of such salary demand.
Chaii.. I hope this doesn't affect me in any way. I chose that amount because it's an international firm and I don't know the salary range of fresh graduates in organisations of equal magnitude. I've got to start making research on salary matters now. Wish I had seen this thread earlier. Please what amount do you think is fair enough?
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Pwc Recruits Graduate Trainee 2013 by ecolime(m): 9:58pm On Feb 15, 2013
