[quote author=Jefferyzz post=131614048]Last week my mother in-law was sent an iPhone 12, Samsung s23 and Samsung S4 watch from UK, the sender didn't inform me she will be using DHL and I didn't know she will be sending brand new phones. She once used DHL to send few items in the past, so she believed she wouldn't have any problem with them. She said they charged her close to 200k there to have all 3 items sent. Item got to Nigeria and I got a link to make a payment of over 1.2m to clear the items. They claim Nigeria custom took over the items after they noticed the original amount was not declared. The sender declared a total amount of 1,200$. DHL claimed custom reviewed the amount n inflated it 2500$ The sender after this provided them with screenshot of her purchase from Argos yet this fee wasn't reviewed. I was advised to go to their stand for airport and negotiate with them which I'll do before the week runs out. If you've experienced this before or know a way out or you know how I can bring down this amount, kindly drop comment. My number is also available Incase you want to DM. I don't want to go there without knowing how to go about this. Thanks[I had the same issue with UPS last month. Most of DHL and UPS staffs are rogues.] |
To I spoke with them 3 times yesterday regarding my Hynetflex |

Cars requires less maintenance 2. CNG cars are safer. 3. Apart from the Initial cost implications CNG is cheaper on the long run.] |
ECOWAS should simply expel Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger. Let them go and form their Sahel Islamic States. |
I spend NGN5,200 on transportation to work. |
Many people forgot that Yorubas are serious marchants even before the slave trade began. Go and checkout their pre colonial trade route. The fact that they don't engage in commerce as before doesn't mean they don't know how to do it. |
Which work are they even doing in those ministries and parastatals? |

Thank God for your life bro. Your news sequelled the news about the lady whose legs were crushed by a container. Now we know she got to the hospital alive. May God have mercy on our institutions in Nigeria. |

[quote author=Edaro post=49918411]If truly, Glo chose to go with FDD band 28 (700mhz), then Glo is surely going to regret it. It's a very unpopular band amongst devices meant for EMEA countries. I was hoping they would go with band 20 or 7. In terms of band, MTN has advantage over all our LTE networks. Its band 7 (2600) is the most popular band across devices worldwide. MTN always finds a way to have advantage over others. [ I am sorry to disappoint you. 700M band is the best spectrum for LTE in Nigeria MTN didn't have the licence that was why the decide to buy Visafone what is the essence of LTE when you are shooting @ 2600m? 3G @2100 will be better in terms of penetrating power when you close your door in a concrete how the signal become erratic and unstable is that what you want? Moreso it's NCC that issue licence you don't chose the one you want they sell by spectrum] |

Firstly you need to upgrade or swap your SIMM to a uSIM. Secondly you will get an LTE Phone compatible LTE 700Mhz band 28. I pity those who bought phones worth 200K and yet are only compatible with Asian LTE bands. I warned marketers when I went to Saka and Computer village to do a market survey that they should approach operators to ask them questions about their LTE Rollout they were making jest of me that since LTE is written on the phone then no cause for alarm. I will try to share with you guys tomorrow phones that are compatible with GLO LTE. |
