Not very often, in my experience. It rarely does. But when it does, replace with a genuine part, and you'd be good to go - I don't know the cost for your vehicle but the used part I got on ebay was $64 (shipping inclusive). Something I've seen fail multiple times is always the secondary air pump or its relay. It's usefulness is subjective, so I and a couple of my friends have learnt to live with the CEL

Nope, buy your car but try to avoid Chinese or clone parts for Mercedes benz. Its always a 70-30 gamble. So many people will swear on Tibao parts, but I've been unlucky with them. From speed sensors to even wheel bearings.

MAF is mass air flow, once this part fails you have issues with idling and throttle response. Most AMGs are RWD. E55, C55, W204 C63, W205 C63. The W204 C43 is AWD, I believe. Same as the W213 E63. But traditionally, AMGs have been RWD.

C300 is a good choice but if you crave power and speed like me you should go for d C350 2009 sport or u can go for the almighty C63 AMG na there work finish for C class. In all u do stay away from 4matics.

4matic or no. Parts are generally expensive for a Merc, talk less of the amount for programming abi na adaptation dem dey call am. Once you get a toks Benz, you’ll enjoy it for two years after servicing religiously after that be prepared to pay Caesar his due

Always set aside between 150-200k for replacement /maintenance of very important parts that may fail.

Also, if you can use platinum plugs, not necessary per say, though this could last you for 7 years. and clean your throttle body , MAF with MAF cleaner and your air filter regularly to keep up with the power as you may always be using our normal fuel(non premium fuel) so that you may continue enjoying your car without lose of power and other limitations that those who don't know experiences all the time. With these you will hardly be visiting the garages

Very correct, suffered recently from mild misfires and had NGK plats replace my old Bosch. Immediately, multiple misfires started happening - vehicle lost power frequently more than one particular time I had the misfortune of driving a Benz in limp mode because two front speed sensors failed at once (story for another day)... Well, called Kingreign and he made out time from his hectic schedule to get me original Bosch Iridium plugs. I put them to the test today, Calabar - Ogoja to and fro (almost 660kms), and vehicle didn't flinch at all. Although, unlike my home boy Nwanneni I don't do over 130km even when overtaking.
