You lie. I am Awori. Awori is Yoruba. See your life? Eegun originally come from Badagry border area. Ilajes speak a Yoruba dialect so do Awori's. Awori dialect is pretty much Lagos Yoruba. Ijebu is actually closer linguistically to Ilaje. I have not been able to study Eegun however. It's a more complicated language

Yea you are right Ilaje is more like yoruba but quite difficult to understand but Eegu is totally different, not yoruba i must say

Oga please stop, not all are ignorant on this issue. The Eguns are quite distinct from yoruba, Egu is not a dialet its a tribe on its own. They live mostly on water and their main occupation is fishing . They owns some part of lagos .
